Hi I received a call from multiple numbers and the most recent was 1-917-231-1530 stating this Indian accent guy was Sean Marsh from Morgan Associates. I really wish I would know who to forward these calls and emails from these odd companies!

I reported them to my district attorney's office, and am doing as much publicity on them as I can possibly do.  He had me so scared I went to my attorney.  My attorney said to hang up on him and not talk to them again.   There is also a site called 800 notes.  If you google Shawn or Sean Woods, even he does not know how to spell his own name, it comes up as Los Angeles, CA.  The phone number he uses with me is (323)417-0129.

Happened to me also...............Very cruel and threatening calls!!!!............Thank God for google.   I have been hunting this number down for days , along with a fax number they told me to send the money to....

just ound  out from my attorney that all these people is one perso a forner that goes by every
name in the book and he's out to get ur money if u give him any info. so don't he's a con
artist he also told my lawyer his name was kenny rodgers too funny

We just start getting phone calls from this number I couldn't understand the gentlemen but he said something about an attorney  one time I answer it he ask for my husband and I said he wasn't home and then he said something I couldn't understand so I hung up then he call right back on a different number and I just didn't answer it

I have been receiving these calls from :"these peeople"  They usually hoax their number from ID Caller.  They have multiple numbers.   Two different (mideasternaccent) men have called me already..at work..on cell ..call your references (which is my number).   it stems from a payday loan (advance network) that i took out.... they must have a list of persons who they call trying to scam.


my question is larger than that..i KNOW this is a scam..and im not afraid of them...

HOW DO WE REPORT THEM AND HAVE THEM CAUGHT.

he obviously uses different numbers.... has called me several times (today at work and my references).  i did take out an advance networks lloan and knowwwwww for sure he is a scammist.

the bigger question is...what are we doing to stop him from harrasing us and others and other less naive people who may send him money...

im thinking about reporting him to the police and or fbi but how ??

I took a complaint today from a woman who had received several calls from this number claiming that she was overdue on a payday loan and demanded payment or she would be criminally charged.  Upon contacting the "company" at this number I spoke to someone with a very strong eastern accent (Indian possibly?) I spoke to "Jack Marshall" who claimed to be an attorney.  "Jack" would not give any information about the company and hung up on me when I asked for the business address.  
 I found on this site that "Jack" calls from multiple numbers and is trying to scam people out of their money.

I have recieved multiple calls from 4693229962 at WORK from a "John Fernandez" stating that I am in "big trouble" and that if I dont call him back the "situation will unfold upon me". He has a very heavy middle eastern accent, obviously this is a scam.

I received a call from this number while I was at WORK!!! A co-worker took a message for me because I had no idea why an attorney would be calling me. He stated his name was Martin Thomas. I then Googled the number to see who it could be and what type of cases they handle, I found many scam complaints. I then called the number back and the phone was answered by a Domenic something. I asked if he was Martin and he replied by saying Martin was busy. He then asked my name so I told him. I then told him I never received a payday loan (as that was what all the calls were about in the complaints I reviewed), and I told him if he called me again I would contact the police. He then asked me for my phone number so he could remove me from his list. (what lawyer says that!!!) I told him he already had my phone number and don't call me again! I then disconnected the call. The nerve of this person(s).

Someone called me today from 4693229962 saying his name was donald jones or donell jones i forget and he had a heavy indian accent saying that I am in big trouble and need to return his number because I owe money for a loan and would be brought on criminal charges. They called my job and had all of my info and when I asked him questions asking to send me proof of this "bill" and he got nasty and hung up. I dont know what I should do he keeps calling my work number. Any suggestions on what I should do

The same number called for me last month, left a disturbing message similar in nature stating I was in trouble for 'bank theft/fraudulent acts.' Assuming it was a scam, I never replied. Just yesterday, the same "company" called looking for my fiancee, and I got really mouthy with them when they started making threats saying they were going to see to it I paid 5,000 dollars in the court "tomorrow." I was like, uhm, if that's the case, where are the police? Where are the details on this court matter? What court? And the man kept saying 'hold on hold on..I need a minute to review your information.' And he kept hanging up, I kept calling back, and now when I try to call it says the number I have dialed is incorrect.

I think I should contact my attorney, this is harassment under false allegations because I don't owe money to any payday loans. I took one out before and paid it back, almost two years ago. And I've had my number changed 3 times since, so I know this is a scam entirely.

Has anyone else filed formal complaints about these people?

Just recently recd phone call from the same tel# (469-322-9965) A person name Martin Thomas
w/ a very heavy accent left a disturbing message stating don't ignore and return the call asap.
I wonder how they got my tel#..I don't recall using payday loan at all.

I received a phone call at 3:24 PM 21 July 2010 from a person claiming to be Sean Woods from the law firm of Morgan and Associates. He left a message with our au pair stating he needed to talk to me ASAP and left the number 469-322-9965. I called this number at 6:37 PM 21 July 2010 and reached the individual with a middle eastern accent claiming to be Sean Woods. " The background noise was heavy with the sound of many voices apparently on other phone lines.  The man stated that they had a pressing legal matter they needed to address with me or I would be subject to "irrevocable legal action." They perpetrator stated I had taken out a payday loan I had failed to pay back and this firm needed them to either assist in repayment or ensure that I repaid this alleged debt. I asked Mr. Woods if this was a scam.  He replied “Yes, this is a scam.”  I then asked and when will the scam be complete.  He said “The scam will be complete when you have withdrawn your money and sent it to me.  We will make arrangements”  I said “ Then this scam is over because I am reporting you to the Fairfax County Police Department” at which point he hung up.
