i got a postcard from someone advertizing they have government grant money for homeowners, to make homes more energy efficent. i am in the middle of a major rebuild so i sent it in. this company called me saying their nane was all american. we set up a meeting for an evaluation, so we'll see where it leads, i will update this when i find out. we will meet wed morn 8/13/08. they also used phone # 800-246-5571. i saved their message on the answering machine

Called the number from the postcard that arrived in the mail talking about government money for home improvement and energy efficient windows.

Tried to call it back today 469-341-0209 and it was disconnected. Name of the company was Home Improvement Center - 9613 Ware Circle, Tampa, FL 33619. Can't find them using Google.

Anyone else dealt with this company or phone number?

We did not respond to a postcard.

Just received a phone call from this number.  missed the call, but had it on caller id.  Within 2 minutes I tried to return the call and it said the number was not in service.  No idea how the call originated, but I did get a postcard a couple of weeks ago regarding the energy efficient homes.....

I too received a phone call on my home and cell from 469-341-0209 after sending in a gold postcard talking about government grant money for making your house more energy efficient. Offering windows or siding for our home.  

They set up a time to come measure our windows and give us a price. They called us back and told us that a man named "trey" would be calling. "Trey" called (came over, he came through the house looked around then sat at the table.) He check out 2 rooms to see the size of windows we had. (never measuring them) Then he wanted us to commit to getting the windows. he said he had to call corporate to confire that we were getting the windows (we needed a code) we told him we were not committing tonight. He got up, said he didn't want to waist our time and left......Just like that.

same here they wont stop call my cell and my husbands cell which I did not give them. It is very annoying and they call like 4 plus times a day on each number.

Offering windows or siding for your home.  They started the conversation asking too many questions, so I hung up.  They were too casual in their conversation and I immediately became suspicious.

I would not trust them, I wish I had not sent the card in.  I still don't know how they got my cell number and new my husbands name.
