Aspen is scam contracting company out of Missouri. They are storm chasers they knocked on my door aggressively I answered and right away the guy told me I had storm related damages on my siding and roof, they could take care of that for me without a dime out of my pocket that they will deal with my insurance and I didn't have to do anything and I stopped this very talkative guy with one question, how do you know I have damages to my home if you haven't inspected yet. He's answer they're doing the entire East Cost and  my subdivision was the worst hit, that all my neighbors were using them. It's a shame what people will do for the mighty Dollar....

I used Aspen Contracting for my roof. I looked them up and Aspen Contracting is the #1 residential roofing company in the nation by Roofing Contractor Magazine Top 100 List and has an A+ national rating with the Better Business Bureau. It sounds like you have your facts incorrect.

Well Genuis..since Roofings contractors DO NOT EVEN USE Lowes...who cares that they use more shingles than Lowes sells.  Lowes is for the average homeowner. And in case you didn't know the average homeowner doesn't do their own roofs.  Aspen and other roofing companies use shingle wholesalers like ABC Supply company.  So that comment doesn't mean squat. Aspen is ALL about the money. AND YES, I can give you a hundred people who used them and had leaks.. most of these were in Overland Park Kansas, Cleveland OH, Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Indianapolis.  Aspen stays in an area only as long as it takes to get some contracts signed, and the roofs on. Then bam..after they collect the last insurance checks,  their whole operation packs up and goes to the next office in the next state that has a hail storm.  They rent their offices on a month to month basis so they can leave when their done, just ask the Lakewood CO office.. some other company is using that building now that they were in only 2 yrs ago.  THEY ARE STORM CHASERS. Plain and simple. The REAL workers are the illegal Mexicans who can't even speak English and break their backs in 100 degree heat or freezing temps. Aspen pays the crew manager of the Mexicans workers a certain amount, and the manager gives the illegals cash.. and it's whatever he feels like giving them. So you've got 16 yr olds putting your roof on for peanuts, while the owner of the company lives in a mansion, buys COKE, and lives the good life on all of your insurance proceeds and all because a little bit of hail left a few marks on your roof. (Some Aspen roofers were causing roof damage so when the adjuster looked at it they would allow more money TRUE STORY).  Most of their "sales agents" are into drugs and they all sleep around with each other. In 2010 they had female employees sharing motel rooms with male employees because they didn't want to spring for extra rooms. AND THESE EMPLOYEES WERE MARRIED TO OTHER PEOPLE who were in another state at home taking care of their family. Well you know what happened... a lot of AFFAIRS.  ASPEN doesn't care about their employees or the customers.. as long as you make the owner MONEY!

Their game is to screw the illegal crews they hire, the salespeople after they've sold a bunch of roofs, if a homeowner is lucky they'll get a decent roof. In that company it's who you know and AND THEY'LL PROBABLY SCREW you too.Management seems trained to set up their people for failure, so they can keep all the commissions once the salespeople are drained thru their draw accounts

My husband worked for Aspen and he saw an employee take an instrument and deliberately hit a cedar shake roof to imply that there had been hail damage. This certain employee had almost a MILLION dollars in sales... he was a top performer and he was making ASPEN CONTRACTING money so they did NOTHING.  My husband quit because he couldn't take all the lying and cheating that was going on.  The managers (a female one especially) went over every invoice and they would put that they did extra things on the job and up graded the shingles to a higher (and much more expensive) shingle, thus making the invoice go higher and the insurance company would pay more... YET.. they used cheap and sub par materials.... they have insurance inspectors IN THEIR POCKET. They give them kick backs, dinner/entertainment, and I think it's the same woman (Kathy V) from the CT office, but my husband said she slept with 2 insurance adjustors just so they would approve some claims.  She got drunk with some of the Aspen employees and she called it "taking one for the team"!  My husband recorded her saying this with his cell phone. It was despicable the way she said it, you could tell she was the type of woman who would do anything for some attention or a little money. I should post the video on YOUTUBE so people can see what ASPEN employees are really like.

Aspen is a joke!  Read the newspapers.  They hire ILLEGAL immigrants for almost ALL of their jobs. The company gets thousands for a job, yet the mexicans who actually put the roof on get minimum wage! A bunch of them got arrested in Cleveland Ohio last year. Look it up.  ALSO, the employees are either sex addicts or on drugs. I can also prove this (with pictures).   The divorce rate is extremely high within their employees because men are on the road and Aspen throws their employees together IN THE SAME HOTEL ROOM with men and women EVEN IF they are married to other people!!! Last year a woman found out that her husband was sleeping with a 50 yr old female employee and she went right to Pat Nussbeck as asked for her husband to be transferred.  PAT didn't care because he would rather have money than care about someone's family or the children of that family... As long as ASPEN had money they didn't care if children had a father or not. The woman who was sleeping around in both the CT offices and the Cleveland office was named (Kathy) and she was responsible for spreading a type of VD around to 3 different men in the Aspen office before she finally got fired. She was bi-sexual and didn't care what she spread nor to whom she spread it to MAN OR WOMAN.So the affair went on and the Cleveland office ended up being the biggest joke in the country because even the office manager was sleeping around with a crew supervisor and the job coordinator was sleeping with a female employee who was ENGAGED to someone else and supposed to get married last September, but she turned around and married STILL ANOTHER ASPEN employee this year!!  LOL, it's a joke! Aspen doesn't care about ANYONE except themselves.  They hired a 39 yr old man AFTER he was accused to sexually harassing and touching an 18 yr old employee in Denver CO.  Then they fired him again after they found out some shady things he was doing, they KNEW he was a married man who messed around with young employees UNWANTED, but they still hired him back. ASPEN doens't care...bottom line.  I wouldn't let them touch my roof, because they are all into COKE, or hookers/strippers.  ASPEN in a company with NO morals and if they can steal from a customer or an employee.. they will do it so fast it will make your head spin.

You know what your saying about an estimate from the sky? Well Insurance companies also use the same type of measuring for there estimates as well along with Exatimate. The one from the sky is called Eagle View go look it up It is true.Know what your talking about before saying what You don't know about .

Who are you kidding? Aspen is 100% legit. I have worked for a few different restoration companies, and believe me when I say Aspen is superior. There will always be times with every company when you will run into unprofessional sales reps, and many homeowners are ignorant of the process but still act like the know everything.

I have worked with restoration companies where the sales reps will CREATE damage on the roof, scare the homeowner into what they believe is an obligatory agreement when in reality contingency, ignore homeowners because they think the value of the roof is too low, swindle money around to pocket more, commit insurance fraud by moving money around to cover deductibles.

Aspen voluntarily gets audited every year to prove that they don't scam people out of money, has OTHERS (like the CCC) stand behind their warranties, upgrades homeowners for free, provides proper documentation in writing showing their subcontractors and ect have been paid off, and does not ask for a penny until the job is completed. There may be some of you who have had the unfortunate experience of running in to a rep who cannot carry him/herself professionally, but in general Aspen is much better than smaller contractors. You always want your contractor to be financially sound.

I'm not entirely sure where you drew your information from, but I think you need to start researching these things before you post them. Aspen is one of the largest contractors in the company, and the biggest national roofers of residential homes.

Now they just need some Salesmen that can spell.
Aspen is shady. They are being sued by multipule insurance companies, owe suppliers 100's of thousands and have been forced to close there doors and even change their name. They may still be working, but once again under another companies name. They like to pay a local company, in a storm area, to use their name so HO's will think they are local.  Shady. Yes.
Don't get me wrong though, all storm relief companies are not like Aspen. These companies are usually capable of handling high volumes of claims and the insurance companies because just like your roofers, the insurance team is from out of state as well. They send catastrophe teams.

I work for Aspen and this is crazy... ive been to 6 different storms with them... and NEVER once has anyone i talked to ever said anything about Aspen calling them 5 million times... if you dont answer it... how would you know it was Aspen anyways... who would have told you to come here and look up anyways/

first of all.. before you make up all sorts of perdictions... do this

find 1 person that ever had a leak that used aspen ( all roofing companies have them... but when you put more shingles on houses then lowes sells in all their  stores... its a numbers game ) and see how fast it was fixed... bet it was more then fast enough!

Measuring it from the sky sounds crazy, but it's not. Most roofing contractor use a company called EagleView to measure roofs. It is a great way to bid roofing projects and extremely accurate. Check it out online. I'm a roofing in Texas and Oklahoma my company is called MasterCraft Construction and we run into Aspen allot, they will hit a storm with 150+ salesmen, I know they cannot handle the volume of customers they have. There turnover rate is around 70% is what one of there employees told me. I would steer clear of them.

Aspen Contracting does not use any phone system to call homeowners to ask for $. This is purely incorrect!!!!

Just received a call from these crooks, I did not answer.  As a rule, I never answer a call that is not readily identifiable and it is scoundrels like these jokers who have caused me to implement this rule.

CID shows 'TEXAS'called 3 times today. Never answered on first 2 calls, answered on 3rd call an pressed # key many times..Have been told it would mess up their calling system.

Call that # and it shows buzzy,  Why I set up a mail merge in word with a Access database to send them a Fax, but I used a list of the same # in the
database 5 million times.  I guess they don't like to get the same medicine.  I bought a phone from magicJack and since I have a database with 5 million people I just set up a field with a phone # then went and
made a querry and updated the querry in the telephone field to 469-454-3184 and than send out a mail merge in work to call that # three times before it goes to the next #, well I did say 5 million phone calls but times 3  = 15,000,000 phone calls to 469-454-3184.   I wish they would
answer so I could talk to them and tell them its not polite.

This is a scam from a roofing company.  Aspen Contracting or ASI is a shady operation which has complaints throughout the country. Be very wary of this company. They asked me to send them $1000.00 and theyd order the roof. Said they had the estimate from another company who measures itg from the sky...Ha like that would work

Call came in at 11:20 this morning - no one was home.  Did not leave a message, and we did not recognize the number.

Checked their website (Grande.com)which seems legit enough, but I've had callers who have apparently hacked into ligitimate firms to display their number when they call you.
