I just got a call from this number (again) I have caller ID box that I bought at least 5-6 yrs ago that has a ?reject? feature that tells a caller their call is not accepted at my number. Only downside is it uses batteries so if I don?t notice they are low, I lose my rejected list, which happened only a couple of weeks ago and apparently this is the second time since this ?restart? of my list because this call today was rejected! I continually enter my number in the ?No Call List? but it seems in the past few months I am getting solicitation calls from companies I have never contacted and/or used. My understanding is that the way some ?sales? calls get around the list is if you have ever called them/used them, or allowed a store/company to enter your phone number into their system, (or if they are considered a charity/non profit type org) they can call you as much as they want ?unless/until? you tell them to stop calling.  There really does have to be something that can be done to stop these nuisance calls!

Please tell us more... what's the name of the program and where can we get it?   We have so many calls coming in anymore it isn't funny and with me having health problems, I give thanks I can turn the phone off when I need to lie down.  Hate that, though, because I may also miss an important call that way.

They just called me today & yesterday. It just shows up on Caller Id as "Wireless Caller"

Best way to stop them is to not answer them for one & the other is to block their number.

If you get a Panasonic phone, I have model #KX-TG6531, or any of the newer models similar to this one, you can block calls on it. Once you do & the number calls it will ring one time only since it has to be recognized by Caller ID first, but that is all. If you have Verizon telephone service you can also block numbers online with them & they won't get through at all.

I love these phones & I'm on my third model now. There better then anything else out there.

Sometimes asking to have your number removed actually works or if you call back the number there is an option to have your number removed. You just never know. Blocking them always works on the other hand.

I use a computer program to answer my calls any more.  If they don't leave a message, the program allows me to Zap the call.  When they call back it automatically zaps them on the first ring.  Great program.

I constantly get calls from this phone. I don't know who it is and don't care. I don't know the number and think I should not be harrassed by someone I don't know. My husband is sick and the phone constantly ringing from sales calls is annoying. How can we stop them???

Can't be too important, they call and don't leave a message which makes me wonder how important the call can be.   I am so tired of all these calls that come in any more.  We pay for this number and we need a way to stop all these calls unless WE ask for them to call us.  Doing business with someone doesn't give them the right to harass us with calls trying to sell us stuff or call constantly for a charity or call constantly with political calls.   I think there should be a law that if they try twice and no one answers, our number should be removed from their robot call list... or we can charge the company and let them pay our phone bill ~ haha
