Is there anyway we can get half of our money back!!!!??

He wanted an item that I placed on Craigslist. Asked the best way to get funds to me and asked for my PAY PAL account info

This guy is still at it. You would think he would get a new number. His language he used tipped me off. Scammers always use wierd words. He wanted an item. Asked the best way to get funds to me. I think I will tell him to send a pre paid Walmart card and see what he says to that.

I got a message from this number thka morning. They were wanting my phone i have for sale on craiglist, said he was in marine corps on augusta georgia and could only use paypal.

Sorry for my French this f***ing no life s*** did the sane thing but he said it was for his friend i got scamed this guy needs to be caught and stoped i wanr my $200

This person contacted me regarding my CL for 2 tablets posing as a Marine from CA asking how he should pay for the tablets.  Buyer beware!!! SCAM artist.  Don't engage. . . he/she/it is full of s***. . . probably some geeks squad ripping people off who don't know any better.  Don't buy into their b***s***.  The play to your soft side like they are a soldier defending your freedom when in reality they are scamming the system.  Pieces of s*** that should be prosecuted to the fullest extent.  Get f****d and eat s***!!!

I just got a text from this guy stating he's a soldier at Camp Pendleton and he wants to buy my laptop.  He said, "I won't be able to send you any form of wire transfer, check or money order right now... Do you have a PayPal Acct?"  Don't fall for this.  I fell for this and said yes once, and then they sent me payments using stolen credit cards.  The funds usually clear pretty quick and go right in to your bank but soon after you start getting hit with charge-backs.  Soon I had the FBI at my house and my whole family was involved. The person was in Bandung, Indonesia and they are a known terrorist cell funding their operation through stolen merchandise!  They get you to mail whatever you're selling to them and then they sell it for cash.  By the time you get the charge-back notice, your item is gone but you still have to pay the money back to the bank.  In my case I found out that Indonesia is one of the 9 countries in the world that we are not allowed to sell technology to.  WHO KNEW?!!  I certainly didn't and furthermore I learned that there is "no excuse for ignorance of the law" - the FBI made this clear to me.  I wasn't charged because I had a clean record and because I lost a lot of money but they said they had the right to charge me.  BEWARE of these scams and report them to the FBI IC3 division via their online form.  They get away with it because no one reports them.

SMS msg asking if the item was still available.  Did a quick google and this list popped up.  Thanks all.  The person is still trying to buy big items.  Mine was a Craigslist listing.  The person had to read and take down the number - it was written in the C/L listing no numerals.

FOR SURE A SCAMMER just got a reply to a craigslist ad from same number they are posing as soldiers based in other states. because if you just google the area code it will come up the state they are claiming to be in except really they are in another country. BEWARE!!!

Yep this number tried texting me intersted in my post. I knew it was fishy cause the number was out of state from where I am. I'm glad I googled it before I did anything stupid. I texted the number and called him out on his lies. What a f*** tard!!!

Same, person saying they are from Marine camp in CA wanting to buy my motorcycle jacket. I actually shipped the jacket and had to call to cancel shipment once I realized it was a scam. They tried to say I had to provide shipment info before the money would deposit to my account from paypal. All a lie. They make you wait for your money until the package is delivered to them, then your money never deposits. I contacted Paypal and advised them of what was going on. Also forwarded the emails that were sent to me saying I needed to provide tracking info and these emails were all a phishing scam.

He did the same thing to me, wanted to buy my mac book pro from CL, SCAM!!

This person contacted me in regards to an item for sale on CL and stated he was a Marine at Camp Pendleton, Ca and was asking how to pay for the item. CL is full of scams and I believe this to be one!  BEWARE!!!
