They called today looking for a Trevora something by my madien name and said I was related to them which i am not I have been married over 18 years and haven't gone by that name for long time bunch of scam

These people keep calling my business cell. They keep leaving messages. I've forwarded the information to my lawyer.

They have been harrassing me for months now as well as all of my family memebrs and past places of residence. I have tried to contact to ask for any information in WRITING to show it to an attorney to help get these people off my back. I will not be bullied or lied to and I will have all contact in writing.

Illegal Collections company!  Total scam, have some fun with them.  Make fart sounds, ask them if they're gay and what they're wearing.   Go to the toilet with the phone, pee, flush, repeat, act like you're nuts, ask them who they are over and over, etc.

Picked up the phone ... after 10 seconds someone said "hello". I said who is this? They asked me if I knew some neighbor across the street! I told them never to call me again.

Ms Sandy Stone calling from "Rockwall Cty" with a Case No. 266255 says she's an invesitgator;  her no. to follow up is 877 892 0562 Ext 239 if no has anything to do  .  .  .  have no business in TX - never have, never will . . . what kind of scam angle is this?  They must be pursuing someone with my same name

This is no scam! If you don't wanna have someone on your door step you might wanna call the 877 number listed above.

They use call spoofing tecnologies to use fake numbers on you caller ID that you can't even call back. They will try and use your families numbers on you caller ID to try and get you to answer there call. They won't give you any information, but will try and get information out of you.

These idiots are completly powerless to do anything that they say. They will lie, cheat and harrass you to try an make a profit. Don't give them any info. They can't send anyone to your house, they are complete B/S artists.

Bottom line, if the economy has you strugglin, don't let these idiots get you down. Worst thing that can happen, it the original creditor tries to take you to court for a judgment, which hardly ever happens. This number belongs to a collections company in Garland, Texas and it's called Global Investigative Services. The "investigator" was looking for my step daughter's friends and tried to intimidate me by indicating to me that I'm a foreigner and probably tried to make it look like I had no rights in this country. He figured out I'm foreign cos of my accent. What this piece of crap didn't know is that I'm a business man and not an illegal hiding in the shadows.

They try to intimidate you into thinking that you are breaking the law and that he is some kind of Law Enforcement person..lol.  

Whenver you get a call from them, DO NOT surrender to their tactics.. Just tell him/her to leave you alone or else you will prosecute them. They won't tell you the name of their company or the direct number, but I found out.

The number 469-555-4806 belongs to Global Investigative Services and their general line is:  877-410-4517. I called the 877 number and spoke to the receptionist and told her to tell her "investigator" to stop calling me immediately. She put me through to a woman, probably a manger and I told her very strictly that next time she would be hearing from my lawyers. She wanted to know if I knew about the party they are looking for and I said that it's none of her business whether I knew them or not - Just stop contacting anyone in my household. That's it. You won't hear from them again cos they are breaking the law if they call you after you tell them not to call. I also printed out a letter and sent to their office address stating that they have no permission to contact me.

Here are the steps to deal with the caller if you get a call from 469-555-4806:

(1)  Call the 877-410-4517 and ask them to let you speak to a manager and warn the manager that you will take legal action against them if they don't stop calling your number.

(2) Type/Write a letter addressed to Global Investigative Services and tell them exactly what you told their manager. Here is the address:

i run a smog shop and the person called me asking me to look up a record from 2009 when i asked for her name and number she hesitated and told me should would call me and when i asked her name she said it was christia.  she has called twice in the last month.

I called back 469 555 4806 These people has blocked such number from any incoming calls.
How any honest telephone company allow services to fake and fraudulent harassment "customers"?

Called at 252 PM on Monday Aug 8 2011. She said she is an investigator and ask for my name with mis- pronouonciation. of the name.
I have absolutelly no credit debts, I have no loans etc.
This lady hung up the line when my wife ask her reasons and details of her call.

1. The number on the caller ID is a cover up, this is a tactic used by many companies.
2. Listen to the voicemail.
3. IT IS LEGIT
4. They called me trying to reach someone else.
5. My response to them was, are you going to tell me what this is about? Are you going to give me the details of your "so called case file"? They wanted to BS me, I cut them off, and said, "MAM, this is a straight up yes or no question. Which one is it going to be? Their answer, "NO, we can't disclose what teh case is about, we just need to reach the person."
6. My response, "Do not waste my time, if you are not going to fill me in on what this "case" is about then do  not bother me. If its not related to me, if it doesn't involve me, then do not bother me. You need to your job and contact the person directly, not trhough me or a third party!"

Some "investigator" looking for someone with the same name as me. Never leaves info on voicemail, probably a scam.

Got a call from this number today and when I told the lady who called that I was not the person she was asking for and that she had the wrong number, she said and I quote "You people are playing games with me.  You'll just have to be served. Have a blessed day"??????? Then she hung up.  I called the number back and got a recording saying that the call could not be completed as dialed.  This is the first time that I have received a call from this number.

they call everyday and leave a case number and phone number to call them back, but dont say who they are calling for...
