On August 30, 2010 the Texas Attorney General's Office announced it had filed suit against American Home Mortgage Servicing, Inc. in the District Court of El Paso County, Texas. Charges filed allege the business is in violation of the Texas Debt Collections Act and the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. The State is seeking a permanent injunction, civil penalties, all money or property taken from identifiable Texas consumers and pre-judgment interest on all awards of restitution. They are criminal scam artists. I don't even have a mortgage and they call me threatening foreclosure and want to bring my account to date. I'm a renter. These are thiefs trying to get your information. Call the authorities and report them.

Maybe the reason that you are having soooo much trouble getting mortgage assistance from these people is because their is a language barrier.
Everyone that you talk to in this company speaks broken English.

same here Kimmer .....found out that I have cancer & ssi doesn't pay crap .....they say one thing and do another ....no gooders !! at first they were gonna work with me and then all of a sudden ...its foreslosure papers from a different mortgage co., they sold my loan to...lot of sneaky stuff going on !

It is American Home Mortgage Servicing. They call me even though I have told them in writing (several times) that I want only written contact. They do not leave a message. My home supposedly went into foreclosure 8 months ago. I tried to work something out with them prior to the foreclosre and sent tons of paperwork to them and they never responded except with foreclosure papers. Then after we moved and got on with out lives, a month after the sale was scheduled, they are sending me letters saying "oh, we got your request and want to work with you but we need more paperwork", and letters from another branch asking if we wanted to work with them. No one there seems to know what they are doing.
I sent them several letters and faxes saying we've moved on, where do you want us to send the keys, etc. and they never respond. Probably because the current valuation of the property is less than 50% of of the original loan and in this market they'll be lucky to recoup 25%, if it even sells.
