I'm with you.  I contacted the local and state authorities and this is nothing they can handle.  They have more important things to deal with. I crank call them now and screw with them.

itsa a scam.. they were doing this same B.S. with a different phone number about a year ago .. they would call constantly trying to get personal info about a family member and they didn't even have the name spelled right .. they just started calling today on a different number on my land line and cell phone.. do not call them back report them to the do not call list it will take about a week but the calls will stop

MB either you're an idiot or you work for them, probably both.Do your research before you advise someone.I did my research, and these people make all kinds of claims people owe them for some kind of debt.I researched the number because they called some one I  know and claimed I owed for Welfare fraud. DOH!I never ,ever applied or used anything in the Welfare system.It's against the privacy laws for collection agencies or creditors to give information to a second party.It's also against the law to falsely represent yourself as any Government Agency.They're facing some time in prison for that one ,if they're caught.They use different names and numbers.They work out of Texas.Probably close to the border so they can make a run for it when they get caught.Maybe even drive over to different locations.Keep reporting them to the FBI,and to your cell phone provider.It's against the law for telemarkets ect., to call you on your cell phone.Mainly,don't answer a call if you don't know who it is.Bots(robots) will give up after so many times,because they register a dead number.If you remember that guy who kept calling about your auto ins for a very long time,was finally caught.But there will always be scammers.

They called my job n told them they was sending a police to lock me up cause I owe money ..wow I called the number 4697897020 n Rick soloan talked a whole lot of s*** ..they couldn't even give me the name of there company n everytime I asked to speak with a different person there transfered me n it was the same man different name same voice...lmao

I paid my bill almost 2 years ago so talk crap now. I will find them and file harassment charges.

Call my Aunt and told me that I have a Federal Warrant and they are coming to arrest me. the lady wouldn't give her name just want me to call her back but no name given.

In the first place, if they were a real legal firm, they should know that it is illegal to disclose that kind of information over the phone to anyone but the intended recipient. It has nothing to do with not paying your bills, I got the same call about my son that lives up in Idaho, and I know damn well that he didn't have any outstanding debt. Of course you are probably associated with the scam or you wouldn't be listed as anonymous. Do a little research and google the number, it has scam written all over it.

Got a call today from this number, left a voice mail, name was Eric Michaels in "compliance", stated I was listed as an emergency contact for an ex, wanted to contact that person about "the case that's about to be filed in the State of Texas. PERSON needs to contact me immediately about the allegations they are facing."

Very aggressive.  Also illegal.  And amusing...

Maybe you should pay your bills? Not to mention Grand Prairie is part of Dallas. I just called them to get some information about their company. They are not listed on the net because it is a private legal firm. How do you know these people are a collection company?

I got a call from a company in Dallas Texas area that claimed I owed a debt and they were going to prosecute me and I cant locate the company on the net.  They said their company was called Legal research group and the number was 469-789-7020. They then sent me an email with a Demand Letter attached, but it had a PO Box on it and the address was in Dallas, Texas and not in Grand Prairie where the phone number was located. He said I could send them a certified check or they would have me arrested in my home state.

They disclosed this information to my brother and to my wife.
