when I get unknown calls I use per-recorded fax tones from my recorder... each time they call back, they get the same thing... eventually they quit calling... I only answer calls that my caller ID reports & only if they are people I know or do business with... otherwise I come here...

The guy just called again today. The message was exactly the same. He must have his little speech written down. "regarding Business Interest".

Our business is not interested! Go away and stop calling. You can't afford us!

Left a message on the voicemail "Hello ****, this is Jim Suthered and I am with Generational Equity. This is not a cold call and I am in need of speaking with you about an important matter. This involves 'Business Interest'. Please call me back....Blah-blah-blah"

Why would we sell our business when it's just getting good? They can't pay us enough. We want Billions not Thousands. Get lost JERK!

I am listing this as a Telemarketer since he actually was cold calling. We didn't ask him to call, and we have never taken any interest in his company.

If you are interested in losing your money you should call them, is what this shill means if it could tell the truth.

This number is for a company called Generational Equity http://www.genequityco.com.  They call to sell you their service.  So if you are interested in selling your company you could talk to them...if not hang up.  They called me today trying to get me to attend a seminar...no thanks!

juswt got a call from this and it called twice no sooner than they hung the first time who ever it is they called right back

They called my business today in Indiana and asked for me.  When my secretary asked what it was for they said "acquisitions"

This number just left my company a message. A "senior business advisor" from a large acquisition firm. Glad I checked here - thanks for the posts - helpful.

Just got a call from them. Told them we are not interested. He said, oh, by the name of my business you think I am involved with equity?  I asked what are you involved with? He said mergers. Ha ha. Get a life. I told him that it was a double no. We are on the no calling list b****ead.

The man that called me kept making toot noises in the phone when i rejected his request for a donation. Said that I was a loser and continuously made noises that sounded as though he had really bad gas issues. I reccomended GAS X and released after I called him Farty McNasty

They call almost every day from this number.  I do not pick up and they do not leave a message.

I don't have caller ID so have to rush to get the phone when it rings only to have the call be from Texas State Troopers Assiociation whom I have told for three or four YEARS that I don't contribute to any organization over the phone.Believe me when I say I HAVE TRIED NICE,RUDE,Hang Up and they still call back.....I am on the no call list but that doesn't seem to matter.Do any of you have a number that I might give the police  to see if I can jail these suckers?

Just got a call from this number. Didn't get to the phone in time to answer (thank goodness) so he left a message. The message said, " You were lucky that day dude, you were real lucky" then he hung up. I'm so fed up with these stupid calls from stupid people who have nothing better to do but play on the phone like children. But wait, children don't even do that anymore so now what kind of idiots are we dealing with?????

They're calling small town Texas in my case.

They are calling our home too, however it's usually when I'm on the phone but no message is left. At first I thought maybe it was my husband who is out of the country but evidently it isn't.

If anyone finds out who this looser is please post the info.

I believe this is the State Trooper Assoc soliciting money.  They repeatedly call multiple times a day approximately every 6-months.  There are a lot of complaints against this company.  I think their auto-dialer calls multiple numbers assuming some calls will not go through and also assuming a call center agent will be available to speak with you.  If the agent does not immediately pick up the call the dialer placed it disconnects.  Extremely annoying.  I am no the Do Not Call List and have an unlisted number and they still call.

Tired of getting the calls and then not saying anything and hanging up.  Enough is enough.  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST, and it means what it says. Do Not Call.  If it is the State troopers so called association they have been told multiple times to stop calling.  So therefore STOP CALLING.

I looked up the number and it appears as though this FRAUDULANT company has been exposed by a news station in Houston.  I don't know why the Attorney General has not had them arrested.

This number sucks, they just hangup.

Just received a call from them; and, I didn't answer it.  The internet search notes it as being through Southwestern Bell and in Carrollton, TX (75287-7310).

It is a number used by the Texas State Troopers Association which is a scam. Got their number from their web site. Call 800-289-8782 and ask  no tell them to remove your name from their contact list or you will be contacting the Attorney General's office to report them.

They called last night, saying they are from the 'Texas State Police', soliciting donations. I've heard of this type of scam in the past. When I informed them that my son is a police officer, the man couldn't hang up fast enough.

These idiots literally called me at 8:59 pm and nobody was on the line. I wish someone would put a stop to these scammers.

We received I think 9 calls at 7:12 p.m. this evening.. ALL of them were at 7:12.. They've been calling us a lot..I'm usually pretty damn rude to people like that, but I'm getting very very annoyed with this.

I think it may be a fake State Troopers thing, but from what some of these other people have said, I don't know.. If someone left messages like that on my answering machine, I think I'd call the police and file a report against those people.

I just got a call from this number.  I waited and waited.  A man's voice said hello.  Then waited and waited and he finally sang: "Feel yo body heat!"  I'm on  the do not call list.  Wish we could get them to take people off.  I am to the point I don't answer if I don't recognize the name or number!

Same as everyone else.  I answer the call, person on the other end hangs up.  Tried to call back, but get the VM that is too full to leave a message.
