Came in as unavailable. 1/20 & 1/21  Use my phone as back up for work thought it might be a customer so called back. answered but said nothing I hung up and tried it again. So they got me for a total of 4 min. have watched bill since and so far nothing else. Next time I'll check 800notes.cpm before returning a call from a number I don't recognize.

got the call on sunday feb the 2nd at 11 am called back to see who the number was, got the phone bill was charged for the call found out it was one of the scam numbers.

This is a scam. When you answer, your call is routed through an international operator which will cost you money. DO NOT ANSWER OR CALL THEM BACK. Verizon would not credit the charges back to my account like they did for the other poster on this board.

I don't call back numbers I do not recognize or didn't leave message.  Then I block the number thereafter.  I'm not the least bit curious who's called I missed if they don't have the decency to left credible message.  The scumbags bottom feeders out there are just taking advantage of our American good nature curiosity. Re-train yourself America!!!!

Grenada is a scam

Received a call from (473) 456-1846.  My phone rang once.  I didn't recognize the number so, I didn't answer it.   When I did a reverse search online, I discovered the number is registered to someone in Grenada.  I do not know anyone in Grenada.

Phone rang only once and display showed call was from Grenada. I did not return the call.

Received a 1-ring call from this number at 10:59 pm. My cell phone indicated the call was from Grenada. I did not return the call based on the other postings here.

cell phone rang for a short time, then stopped.   I looked at the number --473-4561846.   Because I was expecting a phone call, I called the number back.    There was music and some kind of message to hold.    I realized it was a scam, and hung up.

I received a hang up call from this number and also am concerned about the target breach. This is a second hang up call that I have received in the past 2 day, both different numbers.

I don't answer calls with these area codes.  If it's important let them leave a message.
I now have it listed as "scammer" and "no ring", that way I'm not bothered at night or any other time.
FCC needs to get busy, as these calls are getting worse and worse.  I'm tired of pulling up DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.
If you work, you don't have time for this nonsense. Obviously it's someone who is trying to pull a scam as they did to the larger stores. Shame on em!

Same comments as all above--identical.  Have received these calls for about 3 weeks now.  We asked our provider to block the number, which they did, but the calls keep coming.  The provider says that it is likely that the number 473-456-2846 is a "spoofed" number, not the actual originating number.  The calls could originate from anywhere, not just Grenada etc.  The scammer is "fishing" for people who do not have "unlimited" voice plans with their provider, hoping that the recipient of the calls will call the number back.  If called back, the phone will answer with only silence at the other end.  The scammer will then bill your provider (your account) outrageous charges.  This also applies to any kind of text message.  This information has been provided by A.T.&T.    DO NOT call (or text) back.  If you have called the number back, you would be well-advised to check your bill closely.  Yes, it is a scam.  If your provider has the capability, you might also ask them to block the entire "473" area code from your phone, but most providers require a full 10-digit number.  As a last resort, purchase your own call blocking device.  Most of these (inexpensive) devices have the capability of blocking partial numbers and "spoofed" numbers, as well as area codes.  Check your bill!   Sadly, all the scammer has to do is use a different "spoofed" number and you are back to square #1.  Where is the government hiding out through all of this?

Got a call from this number just after midnight. i didn't answer because i had a call from a wierd number last wkend that ended up being a scam. i googled this number and saw this one is a scam also. i dnt kno what's. going on with all of the scam calls but itg getn kind of aggrevating being woke up in middle of night

Contact your carrier and report it. If you get any charges, you will have some documentation that could help you get the charges reversed.

I got a post on facebook that warns NOT to call back. $19.00 per call + $ 9.00 per minute, if you do.

I just had a missed call from this number. it only rand once, then they hung up. Glad I googled the number and found out it was a scam before I tried calling back!!!

Received call last night 12midnight from this number...hope they are not trying to get my information...

Rings once or twice, no message left. I did not pick up or return calls. Everyone be warned: I heard a report on the news that if you call these numbers back, you'll get a 19.95 (or more) charge on your phone bill just for the act of calling.
