They talked on the local news this number from Grenada was a scam number and people were getting charges on their bill. I am a sprint customer in Utah and I immediately called Sprint and told them to block all text billing. This is where you are able to send money to some one or company and the money can be transferred through your sprint bill.  I hope this is the end of this.

My employer who is a large employer and uses Sprint phones also send an email to all employees that they are not to answer or return a call to a Grenada number or even one that originates from a south seas island. The number I received a call from was 473-520-9772.

Got a missed call from this number at 3:37 a.m. PST. Like many of the other posters, I also had no idea that a place called Grenada existed. And I'm not sure if this matters, but I am a Verizon customer.

Just got a miss call from this number. I called back and a it said to wait. Music started to play. Out of nowhere, I have received calls from different numbers looking for someone else. Don't call back to this number, most likely is a scam or prank calling.

I keep getting calls from 473-520-9711 or the last four digits vary slightly. I think they are just 'pinging' phone numbers to see which ones ring, as opposed to being out of use. So annoying that  I turn mine to silent at night.

I spent about 3 hours with Verizon people today....all 4 of our phones are getting these random calls at all hours of the night. Rings only once...but all phones are ringing at the same time (different numbers but are all 473 (Grenada)..some from Dominica. We also live in New England. Between our 4 phones, we have had about 30 calls in the past 24 hours. Although Verizon wants to tell me it's not their issue...it sure definitely is. I spoke to 4 different reps....one told me to call local authority?? The other gave me a number (which does not exist) to block all international calls. The other was no help at all and told me I had to sign up for a $5 monthly fee to block calls and that this is not in any way a Verizon issue because it's the first complaint she has heard about. And the last rep was actually very pleasant and advised us to put our numbers on the National No Call list. It's strange...and hope they get their acts together soon.

Got two calls from this number exactly 3 hours apart. First time it popped up as a number from Norway 47-35-20 97 11. Both times only rang 3X

My ID shows it's from Norway, which is nuts! Rings twice & then shows up as missed call. It's been daily, several times a day, for a couple days now.

Grenada is the call I received at 5:30am. I'm pretty sure it's a scam from all of the info I've read.

Got a call answered it, dead silence, hung up on me. called it back said call restricted.  Have Straight-Talk from wal-mart.

I got a missed call from 473-520-9711 at 10:37 pm CST on 12/15/2013. I am a Sprint customer. I got the missed call from this number 2 or 3 weeks ago too. My cell phone shows it from Grenada which made me suspicius of this call because I do not know anyone from Grenada.

Call woke me up at 4:17 Am Dec 16; one or two rings and then stops. My carrier is At&t, my location is Mass.

Got a call from this number at 2 am in the morning.  The phone rang once , then hung up.  The call is from Grenada. Sprint is my cellphone carrier, and my location is MN.  The last call from this area code was on thanksgiving of this year.  Not sure what's going on or what they wanted, but the whole situation is getting old.

Called me at 1:15 am. Not the first call from Grenada. I'm tired of this s***... I'm a verizon customer.

Have gotten several calls from this number, it says Grenada. My sister and mother have also gotten calls, all of us about 30 seconds apart and for one ring/no message. I got one call at 2am EST and at least another at 9pm EST.

I got a call from them today at 4 am EST & I have Verizon. Seeing as everyone has different providers, I don't think they're selling numbers. Instead, they're probably putting together different number combinations & seeing if a person responds/it's a real number to spam even further. I've never gotten a spam call before, but I get a spam text at least once a month. One even had my name in it, which was really creepy, seeing as I have an unlisted number, am on a family plan, & I'm not the main point of contact for our plan.

Call from Grenada at 3:21 a.m. on Saturday, December 14!  Unknown contact number.  Tried returning the call but line was busy.  

Called at 1:03 AM EST left no message.

Got a call from this number at 413 AM!!!! Must not have let it ring long as it didn't even wake me. And I have T-Mobile!
