I just received a call from these people.  He said he was calling from "the telephone company" and proceeded to say that our household qualified for a calling card.  I stated that I don't want anything he is offering, and besides he is breaking the law to call me, since I am on the "Do Not Call" list in Indiana.  Then I hung up.  He had the NERVE to call me back!  I told him I couldn't believe he was calling me again.  He interrupted me to say that I shouldn't have hung up on him, and he is not selling anything, but calling on behalf of my phone company.  I asked him the name of the phone company.  He said I should know that, since I am their customer.  When I pressed further for the name, he hung up on me.

They have called me as well. We called back and it said that number didn't exist. It's obviously a scam and when you answer they probably steal your phone line connection! I called the operator to see if they would do something and she said NO.

This number has been calling since Friday and today, Monday my wife finally answered.  The person on the phone said "siete dias" and hung up.  What does this mean?

I'm getting called about once every two days by this number.  Sounds like there must be an NC connection as well because we're based here.  If anyone decides to report it in NC please let me know and I'll follow up with the same contact.

Got 2 calls from this number.  Same as others;  Spanish and nothing after saying hello.  Don't t with same results.  Spanish and no speaking after saying "wrong number".rust.  Check phone bill.  Recently got a call from252-542-0058

HAVE BEEN CALLING TWICE A DAY & CALLER ONLY SPEAKS SPANISH.  THE CALLER'S BUSINESS IS LOCATED IN THE SCOTTSDALE ARIZ AREA.  IF THESE CALLS DO NOT STOP I WILL REPORT THEM TO THE N C ATTY GENERALS OFFICE.

When I answered, the caller kept saying Helo, then said something about sex, I hung up immediately.  I don't know how they got my call, but I would just hang up and report this to the National Do Not Call Registery.

I got a call from these people today at 2:30 pm. Tuesday Nov 3rd. 2009 I live in CA. I didn't hear a spanish speaking person just a laugh and a muffled sound. They hung up on me before I could say more than hello. That really pisses me off that they keep calling people. I have vonage could this be happening to other vonage customers. When I had SBC/At&t phone service I didn't get as many phony calls as I do now. Just a thought...

I have received several calls from this number, but have never been around to answer when the phone rings. The first time, about two weeks ago, the voicemail was blank. Since then, including twice today, no voicemail has been triggered - they probably hang up when my outgoing message comes up in English. I have my home phone forwarded to my cell while I'm at work, and I can see the Caller ID only on my cell phone, so I have no idea which phone they're calling. I suspected it was a scam the first time, but it is darned annoying to have them keep calling. Don't they get the message that nobody here speaks Spanish? I wonder if they are actually calling from the Do Not Call list.

i get this call almost every day from a hispanic woman, sometimes says hola, most of the time says nothing. 480-123-1234 is obviously a bogus number

they have called me at least once a day for 2 weeks, never leave a message, if i answer they speak spanish and do not answer me, if i say something they hang up. I have tried "remove me from the list", and "I need to speak with someone who speaks English", and then they hang up on me, I just want to yell at them!

Called twice today.  480-123-1234 - Area code lookup says 480 is Maricopa County AZ.  Machine screens all our calls and there was just a boiler room sound on the message.  No words.

Someone keeps calling from 1 489-123-1234 phone number, but does not reply when we pick up the phone and say "hello".  This has happend four times today. We are already on the national "Do Not Call List."  Hope someone can nail these people!

omg, i thought we were the only persons getting this call....it is spanish speaking individuals who supposedly work for a phone company (we were told Verizon ) stating that due to our excellent record of paying on time we qualified for a calling card of 500 minutes, after hearing these people we have asked, begged, numerous of times to please do not call back that we are not interested and once we hang up the phone they call right back (5 times a day!)...i contacted verizon and i was told that i needed to contact a special dept of verizon. please help us find out who is responsible because these people are so rude, if you do not provide the information requested.

I got a call from this untraceable number, I followed their game for while since I speak spanish. They already had my name and my address. The guy keeps talking about this "NO COST 500 MINUTES PHONE CARD", he verified my name, my address and then tranfered me to another person, then she wanted to verify more personal information then I stopped, told them I dont want be part of this scam and hung up. In less than 10 seconds, another person called me saying he was litsening and tried to apologize, told him to remove my phone and go away, then he called again & again, until I yield back to "STOP CALLING". This is a very bad scam focus on spanish people.....SOMEBODY HAS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS, THEY ARE NOTHING BUT PROFESSIONAL THIEVES.......

GOT A CALL FROM 4801231234, CALLED TWICE AND DID NOT TALK ANYTHING.

This lady has called several times since i speak spanish i told her that my number was on the DO NOT CALL LIST and since this call was not at all a bill collector and if i didtn owe them anything i asked to have my number removed and i just got a hang up. It is really anoying to get a call like this especially when i know their going to call again. What could be done with this number or person doing this someone needs to report this person or people.
