You, my friend, are an idiot.  Look into debt collection law.  Even if your debt is years and years old, it can be sold to anyone and collected.  A debt doesn't go away just because it's old.  It can be sold at anytime and "reopened" as an active debt.  Huh...the stupid things people uneducated about te subject write on these pages.

Tell these idiots to "Cease and desist"  If they call again... you dont have debt.  They said I had a parking ticket from 07.  I was like um you never called to let me know and now you want 6x the amount...yaaaaa right

They did get ahold of me over a year ago and tried to get me to pay a parking ticket from 4 yrs prior.  They said I parked in a handicap spot and recieved a ticket. I told them I have a handicap hanger and told them that I had never seen a ticket to appeal. They said its been too long now and my only recourse was to pay 400+ or I could have a problem getting tags or a warrent for my arrest etc...  none of which ever happened. They still call 3-4 times a day. Thanksfully I have "Mr. Number" an app on phone to block and hang up on them so no real bother.

This number calls me 3 times a day and when I do answer, they hang up and they never leave a voice mail.  Their calls have been as early as 7am and as late as 930pm.

These people have now succeeded in bothering a busy attorney, and will shortly pay the price of their practices

I get about 3 or 4 calls a day, but do not answer them.  I never answer calls from an area code I do not recognize.  I have found if you pick up the phone and don't say anything, just listen, they hang up.  Sometimes I just answer the phone and lay it down on the table for about 5 minutes.  When I answer and don't say anything, I know it is a computer generated call, not a human on the other end.  Just hate it when they keep calling and I have the new baby and they wake her up.

Send them a letter stating that you are not the person they are looking for and they are to cease all phone calls to your phone #.  Send it certified mail.  Then if after they have receicved the letter they keep calling you, file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.  Even if they were contacting the correct person, once they have been informed to cease calls in writing, they must comply with this

I have asked them time and again to stop calling me - it's regarding a parking ticket that they claimed I received in 2005.  Their less than professional staff responded, "It ain't gonna happen, we're just gonna keep calling! The FDCPA requires collection agencies and attorneys to stop contacting consumers after a written request asking the collector to cease collection contacts or stating the debt is not owed. 15 U.S.C. § 1692c(c). Consumers can also complain to Consumer Protection agencies. A complaint letter can be sent to the Federal Trade Commission, Bureau of Consumer Protection, Washington D.C. 20580 as long as the creditor is not a bank. See 15 U.S.C. §1692l(b). Copies of the complaint should also be sent to the state attorney general's office, bureau of consumer protection in the state capital, and to any local consumer protection office.

They are a scam collection company called AIC or allied international credit.  They buy old debts that cannot be legally collected on anymore for pennies on the dollar.  And since the debts are so old they can't be collected on they have no hope of collecting except to hassle you into paying whether you are the person or not because they won't believe you.  And the government doesn't give a s**t so don't go thinking that they are going to help.  So get amused, or change your number, or block the calls, or get driven out of your mind because it's not going to stop.

THIS COMPANY  is AIC...I don't know who they collect for but they do collections - they have repeatedly called my number looking for another person, and I have repeatedly told them he doesn't have this number anymore.  They tell me they will remove the number then turn around and call again.

Received a call today from this # and when I answered the automated message asked me multiple times to "stay on the line for an important call" then hangs up.  I called back with my land line and a male answered who sounded like he was laughing in the background with his co-worker then answered "AIC" which I promptly hung up on him.  I just went to my cell carrier (Sprint) website and blocked the number.  Problem resolved.

This company AIC is a scam pretty much.  They buy old debts which are so old that can't collected on anymore and then tries to hassel you into paying them.  They have no power to do anything but hassle so don't worry about it.  Block calls, ignore, or get a new number if they won't leave you alone. Don't give them personal info they will sell it.

I keep getting calls from 480-382-0973.  There is an automated voice that tells me to hold for a very important call.  I've let the voice say that about 3-4 times, no one gets on the line so I hang up.  

Today I called the number and they answered AIC and it sounded like a call center.  I asked what they do and she said the are a "multifaceted company" what do you do?  I said it was none of your business and you need to stop calling me.  I asked what her business did.  She told me it was none of my business and hung up on me.

I searched the internet and found the number is a land line in Chandler, Arizona.

I've never even been in Arizona, much less Phoenix.  Just your typical scammer I guess.

These idoits have been calling my number (which is a WV number, where I live) leaving a message for a Jose somebody... Spanish/Mexican name that I can't pronounce or ever try to spell.  I've got their fax number and explained that I'm not Jose whoever and I'm not Mexican and I've never been to AZ... so why can't they figure it out?  Dumba$$'$!!!

Automated message that calls approximately every 3 days. It advises debetor (which is not me, but someone else with a different name) to call the number back. I call the number and it is invalid!!

I have a new cell phone number. been getting creditor calls from the last person that had my number. No wonder she disconnected and changed her number! Wish they would find her new number.

If you have a smart phone, get an app called ROOT CALL BLOCKER. It will hang up on them without letting it go to your voice mail or ringing (bothering you). It's great!
