Got 4 calls from Green Tree 480-383-2290.  They were looking for a nephew of mine that I did not see in 20 years.  They asked if I knew him because he was looking for a letter of recommendation for a job. I sais I could not do that because I knew with as a child 20 years ago.  They said ok and hung up.  Today they are calling again but I did not answer.

This is GreenTree servicing and they are the worst company I've ever dealt with! I know longer answer their calls.  They called and left a message for me at work, when I called back to tell them never to call my work again, the man started screaming at me, literally screaming....asking why I didn't pay my bill....I was 10 days late, still within grace period....then when I was out of work and a month behind, I called and asked once if I could set up a double payment for following month and the woman started hounding me saying "isn't there anybody you can ask for help" can U ask 10 friends for $100, and all kinds of nonsense.  I just hung up, sent a cease and desist letter and made the double payment.  They still call me starting at 1st of month multiple times a day.  They are literally trained to talk down on you and yell.  Disgusting company!

This number keeps calling me but never leaves a message. Very annoying.

I have missed two calls from this number today, but when I called it back it says the numbers been disconnected?!?!

Green Tree Servicing spoofed number trying to collect a debt.  Will call everyday and up to four times a day.  Just pay the bill and do not answer these freaks.  A Yulie (sp) or Ulyie (sp) is particularly shrill and rude.  Sucks for them to have a low life job like this.

Green Tree took over my mortgage and has been a nightmare since. Calling at all hours, threatening my wife and no payment has been 30 days late. Never had issues with my previous lenders, even through 4 lender changes.

I called this number and repeatedly pressed 0 until I finally got a human on the line.  I don't have a account with these folks and have been getting calls from them daily, asking me to call another number and give out all my info.  Told them to remove my number from their call list as I do not and never have had an account with them.  Then proceeded to post the info on the do not call list.  Posting here will not do you any good.  Call this pesky number and work from there.  If you tell them to stop calling you, and you do not have an account with them, they have to stop.  We shall see what happens.

As previously stated in previous replies, Green Tree is a mortgage servicing company.  They processed my previous mortgage when i was with Bank of America.  I am sure they are account holders for may national mortgage companies. I am also sure that they are buying and selling information so that they can solicit more business.  Block them; that's what i did.

Green tree servicing does hold my mortgage, but this number is obviously thier collection department....strange since i am not late on my mortgage, so since the number is calling repeatedly EVERY day and since they do not leave messages or say anything when you answer, this is something to be reported with the DA office of Arizona.  Having my number on the do not call list makes them on the obvious violation side, and everytime i have reported a number for this same situation, it has been handled immediately.

Total harassment from constant numerous daily phone calls.  I am so sick of this.  This has got to be illegal and I am ready to contact an attorney.

There is a class action lawsuit against Green Tree for calling people .

THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO.  WE, LIKE MANY LISTED ABOVE HAD BANK OF AMERICA AS OUR MORTAGE COMPANY FOR PROBABLY THE LAST 15 YEARS.  MY HUSBAND HAS MS AND THEY ALWAYS WORKED WITH US WHEN WE GOT BEHIND DUE TO MEDICAL BILLS.  WOW - LOOKING FORWARD TO DEALING WITH GREEN TREE (NOT).  ONLY BEEN WITH THEM FOR ONE MONTH AND ALREADY THE PHONE CALLS ARE STARTING.  AND, SINCE B OF A HAD MY OLD HOME PHONE NUMBER WHICH I NO LONGER HAVE, THEY CALLED MY ELDERLY NEIGHBOR AND ASKED HER TO GET AHOLD OF ME.  THIS IS RIDICULOUS.  IS THERE ANYONE TO GO TO IF THEY CONTINUE TO HARASS US.  I HAVE ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH WITH MY HUSBANDS ILLNESS - DON'T NEED THIS.

By the way they never read the previous note in your file, the fool?s just call and them when you tell them to read the notes they apologize, if they had read the notes they would have known there was no reason to call. This company is a joke, and there are a lot of incompetent people, including upper management working there!!

By the way there was NEVER a late payment; it was they had mis-distributed the funds. If you are like me and like to pay more than 1 month mortgage. I advise you not to do it, because it will totally confuse them. I am in the process of getting my loan re-modified through another capable leaner.

This company harasses me day and night, for less than $65. After my $65 was paid, they continue to call because they said it take 30 days to remove the call back number from the system. This company does not respect the time zone; we have small children at home, and for them to continue to call because of their system is not my fault. Please do something to make them stop; my last resort is to change my phone number.

the dumbass called me too.  This is a fake.  The bi*** had no idea about anything except the location of the property which anyone can find.  She could not tell me what check amounts I had sent, would not verify that I was actually very well caught up and over-paid the account, only kept repeating she could take a check over the phone!  Well really!!!!  What kind of idiot does she take me for.  I called consumer protection agency and there is a class action suit against this bunch of idiots.

I get calls from this # constantly!!! I do have a mobile home financed through them, but its paid up to date. so they have no reason to be calling me! I deal with one woman there, that's it, the others can take a leap somewhere. I don't have much longer to have my mobile home paid off. thank God, then they better leave me alone!!!!

I have my mortgage with these idiots and they are RUTHLESS.  I have MANY complaints into several offices about them.  ALSO....LISTEN PEOPLE....they used MY checking account to pay someone else's mortgage by accident.  I am not kidding.  It took about 20 phone calls to clear this up.  I know it sounds hard to believe..but they did.  That other person's mortgage is $2500! So my checking account was severly overdrawn and the snowball really rolled.  They are HORRIBLE to work with . They did correct their error after about 7 days.   I am trying desparately to get my mortgage with another reputable bank...like my credit union.  Oh and to top it off...I have Bank of America first!  UGGGGGGG

Got into a financial crisis when my wife got cancer. She was unable to work and we fell behind in bills. Greentree is a heartless company, even when you lay out the issue to them and ask for leniency until you can right the ship financially so to speak. We were 3 months behind and tried several times to make at least half payment owed but they would have nothing but the entire amount. They were relentless and threatening eviction of our family several calls a day (even my sick wife) and showed no compassion to our suffering, and my poor wife worried and stressed thru her illness . We received life insurance and payed our home off, ending the nightmare they put my family thru. Stay away from them...
