They called me March 30th at  7:54 p.m. By the time I got to my phone, they hung up and phone had the message "Missed Call." Whre did they get my number from to start with?

If you call them back they just say that they are your best source for your hometown newspaper delivery or something to that effect.  They don't actually tell you who they are and ask you to leave your name and number or a message.  If everybody calls them back and leaves a very long message feigning interest ending with a lot of profanity, somebody there has to screen them and listen.  Be creative and try to keep them listening as long as you can.  Also, if you have Time Warner (maybe other cable carriers too) phone service you can selectively block and forward numbers.  Call them, waste their time, and block them.

Had multiple calls from this number, on and off, for months now. They stopped awhile back but here we go all over again. I'm on a do not call list and yet these morons keep calling but no message left

Interesting... just more rotten f'ing scammers!  I live in Upstate NEW YORK.  Pretty far away from Arizona, if that's really where this call was really coming from - who really knows?!?!  
The scammers are so far ahead of everyone else, it's pathetic.  
I just hope they never call my CELL PHONE again!  Too bad you can't track people down that harrass you with calls, like you used to be able to do in the good 'ol days.  It's ironic how we, the general public, have NO privacy, but all of the scammers out there are protected.  Truly amazing.  
Our government is soooo out of touch with reality, it's rediculous!  How's about they pass some USEFUL laws that BAN all kinds of telemarketing or unwanted solicitations of all types via the telephone?!  Yep, well tough... I don't care who loses out because of it, because it's for the greater good of all mankind if it were banned.  
The penalty should be that you get your hands chopped off and be left to die!  
I absolutely HATE people that call for unwanted nonsense at all times of the day and night, to my cell, to my work phone, etc, etc, etc...

10 calls from this number in the last 3 days. Annoying!!  I haven't answered and will not answer. No messages left.  They've called twice so far today.

Keep getting calls.  When I answer they just hung up on me..when they get my VM they leave some message about my newspaper (which I already paid a year for).

Same as above...if I call back I either get mailbox is full or I get a message that says leave a message but with no profanity.  I'm sure everyone is pissed and let's them have a piece of there mind.  I tried to leave a "nice" message requesting for them to STOP calling.  But I'm not sure it will work.

Had a hang-up call from this number but I am in New England and don't subscribe to the AZ Republic!  Do they represent other newspapers?

If the AZ Republic would put HALF as much energy into servicing their customers as they do trying to 'win them back' after we get fed up and leave ... the could save millions $$$ each year by canceling this telethon mission that ensues after you cancel.
