DO NOT ANSWER THE CALL. As soon as you do they will mark you number as valid and they sell it to telemarketers. 10 Minutes right after I answered I got 10 called from credit card services (selling machines)...very pissed. I am reporting them.

Every day for weeks now i get at least one call a day, usually more, from this number, no answer when i call it back....am sure it is a bot possibly verifying numbers for telemarketers who will then be told where they can get off

I do work at a business and we recently switched phone companies. We have 10 phone lines. I got a call from the number in question one right after another from Merchant Services. Each time the person askes if we accept credit cards and when i say yes we do the says she is from Merchant Services and was going to offer us credit card services but since we already do she said good luck wtih your business year. About the third call i ask if i should expect to get calls all day long from them and she askes me if we got new phone lines. I said no (although i guess technically we did since we switch phone companies, but the numbers are the same) and she said we were listed as a new company and the phone company gave our information to multiple places like them. Since then i have gotten at least 20 calls from places that either dont say anything or have the same schpeal within the last half hour. It ties up 5 lines at a time. I've started just hanging up after the first two if they are from the same number. Since typing this message i have gotten about 10 more calls.

I get phone calls from this number at least once a day. I pick up they hang up. When I called back the phone just rang, no machine no nothing.

Just got another business number 2 days ago. Put my new number with the registy, and tried to file a complaint. wont let me do it right now cuz it takes 31 days for my # to activate. Soooo if you already have your number registered you can file a complaint. If not might want to shut your phone off at night!

The odd thing is I got a call from this number today too and called back and just rang, no answer. Then later I try to use my iphone and it's completely shut down. I had to reboot my phone to get it to work again. I may be paranoid but that seems really odd. Can someone hack your phone this way?

I've received 6 phone calls from this phone number today. I just had this phone line connected yesterday. File a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry and they will handle the situation!

Has called me twice today. Says nothing when I pick up. Possibly a phone # verfier? who knows? but I've been solicited HEAVILY all morning so far from a bunch of different telemarketers, promos, sales, etc. Once your # is public, forget it!

Possible Robo-call. Caller rang four times and hung up without leaving a mesage. Caller ID said "Unknown Name". We never answer unidentified calls. The 480 area code encompasses parts of Arizona including Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek, Apache Junction, as well as far northeast Phoenix and the Phoenix neighborhood of Ahwatukee.
