It is a collection agency

Got a call from this number today, I answered it and they just hung up without saying anything. It seems like this number has hit a lot of other people as well. Labeling this number as a scam/prank according to all coomments made about this number.

For all of you who say "Pay your bills and they will quit calling." I was called by some wannabe tough guy who was looking for somebody that I have never heard of.

Listen up jerky... I AM NOT PAYING ANYONE ELSE'S BILLS IN ORDER  TO END THE HARASSING CALLS.
 
Why do some of you arrogant jack***es think that if a bill collector calls that I owe a debt.  It's called a wrong number.  

Furthermore, I am not giving them my name or info so that they can add it to their database.  If you give a bill collector that calls a wrong number your name they check that name against their list of "skips" and if your name is even close to one on the list they will start calling and trying to get you to pay that debt.  These people are lowlife scum suckers.  I worked in one of those bill collector call centers for two weeks back in the mid 90's and hated it.  60% of the calls that I was connected with were wrong numbers.  I quit because did not think that it was ethically right to harass somebody that did not owe the debt.

I too got a hang up call. It is my practice to call these numbers back. As all of you suspected this is a collectiopn agency. In my case they were trying to collect a bill charged by a relative who gave my number as a contact. The person I delt with was helpful and polite. They did not ask for SSN or credti card info that I wouldn't have given them anyway. I asked them to remove my number from their call list and I was assured they had by the time our call had ended.

Call these people back and tell them what is going on. If you owe a bill make arrangements or tell them you can not and let them do what they do! If it is not your let them know not to call you!

This number called me twice today. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Both times they hung up as I picked it up. I called it back. It is a collection agency and the lady asked for my number and said she was looking it up. I sat there waiting, thinking I was on hold. I finally looked at my phone and found that she had disconnected me. :-(

They have called me several times - it is Collection Service Bureau for medical bills - they have the perfect timing.  They called today - Valentine's Day and the time before that they called 2 days before Christmas demanding money.  i have been paying on the bills in question but it was not enough.  they are awful people with no conscience.  they do not care what your situation is - they want paid and they will ruin you to get it.  I no longer answer my phone if it starts with 480-

"Seriously.  Learn how to spell ignorance, or at least proofread what you have written.  Why did you turn this into some rant about Arizona when this is about a phone number?  Maybe you should pay your bills...  Contact the FCC, they'll probably tell you to pay your bills too."

This # calles me 2-3 times a day & never leaves a message. I never answer, esepecially after seeing the last persons post. Rediculous!

This is a collections agency for medical bills. They use more than one # to harrass you. I never answer the phone to them and they never leave a message. I am in the middle of bankruptcy and they will have to stop calling soon anyways.

I get calls from this number at least once a day. They never leave a message and when we have answered the phone there is never anyone on the other end! What the hell kind of place calls and does not speak when you answer the phone? Why waste everybody's time with this foolishness! They need to be stopped!

Not all Arizonan's are rude, usually it's the people that moved here that give us a bad name. The biggest problem I have is that every time I pick up this call, they hang up on me. What kind of collection agency hangs up every time you answer? I would like to see how that gets tem any money. It's very annoying.

I have been receiving call from this company for several months.  They will not tell me what they are calling for but want to get my birthday and mailing address.  Please make they stop.  It may be on a hospital bill I paid late.  However, the hospital was paid off in February and I am still receiving calls from these people.  This is harrasment!  Where in the state of Arizona do I go to report them.

This number calls daily. When I answer they hang up, no message left. Finally I just send it to voice mail.

For everyone reading this its i g n o r a n t. I still fail to see the point of bringing up Arizonians being ignorant (as well they can be) in regards to bogus collection calls, as well as defending your state if you spell it incorrectly as well. The fact is, these paces should be banned from calling you if they cannot provide a reason as to why they're calling you in the first place, let alone asking you personal information with no explanation.

I have been getting calls from this number every day.  They don't leave voicemails. I tried to call them back one time to see who they were but the recording started off "this call may be recorded" so I knew it was a telemarketing scheme.  No thanks

This is about the number. Don't make it another issue. STFU. Anywho, they just called, and yeah..collections.

This number calls me at least once a day right @ 8am, and is a number in the Phoenix area. Typical Arizona ignotance- no message, no explanation, just self-centered arrogance. This is bordering on harassment (apparently not a word taught in AZ schools) and I have half a mind to contact the FCC.

It's BSB systems which is a collection agency.  When the call ask who it is and what it concerns.  If they say it's a personal finanical matter....that is always a collection agency.  Just hang up.

I get called from this number sometimes every day, sometimes every other day.  Just like the others, they hang up when I answer and when I don't answer they never leave a message.

Okay, this number calls me all the time, when i try to answer it it immediately hangs up. They don't leave a message. Its really getting on my nerves!
