This has been happening to me. Some woman said she was a state locator and was out to find me and then actually made an appointment with me to serve me with the so called complaint. She never showed up she called herself Lauren. The number she called me from was bogus we called it back and it was a all spanish message that just hangs up on you. The next day she called again saying that this is the second attempt to get to see me and that she was too busy serving other people that she just couldn't get to me that day and that she would be by today so I seriously was waiting and waiting and finally my sister said no more waiting you call them and tell them you are not going to be a prisoner in your own house and that if they are going to serve you then to get their a***s over here and serve you. So this time that other woman called from a different number so I call it and it sounds like the same woman calling herself a different name, and saying that they are trying to collect a debt and that if I pay them everything I owe they won't take me to court. I told her I would not give her my card over the phone and asked if the calls were recorded and she said yes, so I said there is my promise to pay but I will not give you my card info and she kept pushing and pushing and refused to take no for an answer. These people are so stupid for trying to scare people by lying and saying that they are taking us to court.

This company called me and notified me a process server would be coming to my home with a warrant for my arrest. I was scared and paid the claim to BCN INC. it was for a payday loan to Ace Cash Express. I researched my records and found that i had already paid another collections agency last year to clear it up. When I called back they said they would not process the charge and all would be erased. WRONG. They took the charge and told me to contact the Corporate Office. Only there is no corporate office. If you Google the company BCN INC in North Carolina the BBB shows they are closed and you should seek a lawyer for claims!! I am out my money now, don't fall for their fraudulent scam !!!

I've been getting calls from a lady named "Erica Joyce" claiming all of the above comments.   I'm in trouble, can't reach me, gonna be served, blah blah blah because I wrote a "fraudulant check". They told me to call :  480-499-0357 which is the same # they appear to be using on everyone.  They came up on my caller ID as:  520-720-8709.   I did not call them back as I don't want to waste my breath on these scumbags.  They have gone as far as calling my parents who live in a different state.  I am 35 yrs old and they're calling Mommy and Daddy.    COME ON.  really?   anyways, I have call blocking on my cell phone, so I just now blocked both phone #'s.     Don't fall for this scam.  They WILL try to scare you.   They WILL try to take your Identity AND money.

I too got a call from this company asking me if a process server had filed a complaint yet and that there were two charges of fraud pending against me for a pay day loan I took out 4 years ago and was unable to pay back because I lost my job. He tried to imply that I would be served any day. I asked him when the complaint was filed and he back tracked and himmmed and hawwwed about it. The he said that it would be filed when i was served. I told him that's now how the process works. I've worked as a legal assistant for nearly 10 years and I know a complaint has to be file with the court and assigned a docket number and then it gets served. So then he says that oh, well he doesn't really know how that side of things works. He then offered me a fairly decent payment plan, if I put $200 down today, they will remove $400 and then I can pay the balance in 3 bi-weekly payments of $123.00. When I asked him to send me something in writing, he said he couldn't do that. He could only send me something showing what the balance was. I told him i was not going to provide by bank or card info over the phone to a stranger with no written contract from his company outlining the terms he just described. I then hung up. This type of collection practice is illegal.

SCAMMERS hard at work again

I just received a voice mail message from Choel White of the Arizona Processing and Summons Division, stating that due to their lack of being able to track me down, a Process Server was on their way to either my home or place of employment to serve me with a summons. She stated that there were two counts of fraud against me. The number she called from was 612-564-7529. She told me that I need to contact the Attorney's office at 480-499-0357 and reference my case number. She ended her call with "you have now been notified".  

Funny thing is, when I first contacted the 480 number the recording stated it was Jones, Myers (so I am assuming the same Jones, Myers and Associates that harrass people)..

This is bogus, they don't call and tell you a complaint is filed against you. You are served paperwork.
