This company called me as well! They offered to replace my windshield because of poor quality workmanship at the time I had mine replaced. They said it was free but wanted my insurance companys name. Since I didnt have glass coverage I had paid cash 3 years ago and did go though my compay.
The man said he would call them and lie! Saying that the window had sructural problems!  He also said he would be happy to come out and do the Free Repalcement and I could just pay again! LOL

I have reported this company to the Attoney Generals office and my insurance company!

Guy called and said they did some work on my windshield (they haven't) and have had a few customers call in with problems. They are being pro-active and will come replace my windshield to make sure I don't have any problems. I told them they never did work on my windshield and the guy on the phone said not him personally, but his company. I asked him the name of his company and he said "The Auto Glass Company." I told him I had never dealt with anyone from his company and he asked for my name. I didn't give it to him so he ended the call.

Strange call about windshield replacement for free due to previous reports of their workmanship failing? ...when I asked more questions, they said their mistake, they called me about "free chip repair". Promised not to submit to insurance company but then asked who my carrier was to confirm their information. I think this is either a scam or some very DUMB people.
