sometimes they call 3 and 4 times a day using a robo caller .I smell a rat. I;ve pressed 5 on their call list to be removed. didn't do any good.

I found one way to get my little back at them, I pick up, dial the # they want if you want more information, I actually gro through the hole thing and make a appointment for their representative ( a hard core sales person) to come to my house and then I don't open them up or even better, I have told them they had the address wrong so they correct it and then set up the appointment on an address I make up.

They also call with a 866-948-0585 number and when I call back it says this is a non-working number. Now why wont the authorities do anything about this nuisance

They call from more than just this number.  I have reported them to the do not call people on four different numbers.  Two were 520 numbers and two were 480 numbers.  Nothing you do seems to stop them, and blocking their number seems a waste of time and money when they call you back from a different number the next week.   The number they most recently called form was 480-371-0962.  I wish I could track these @#%$@ down and call their house repeatedly and harass them since the governement doesn't seem to care that they are harassing people.

Getting same annoying phone call 2x a day, have listened thru long recording and have opted out at least 3 times now - continue to receive calls daily.   Just opted to speak to representative --- very rude, talked over me and hung up!

Regardless, I filed a do-not-call complaint, as my number has been on the list for years. Maybe if enough people report them, D-N-C will actually look into it.

They are also using 940-268-8974 + 520-222-3368.  ROBO calls won't let you hang up.
The 940 # appears to be denton tx area cell phone.
Reporting it to the "do-not-call" service has NO effect.

Same problem.  When I told them to take me off their calling list they immediately went into a sales pitch.  Wouldn't give me their name. Then they hung up on me.  When I called the number back intending on asking for a manager got a recorded line saying the number was unavailable.  I made a complaint with the FTC and AZ Attorneys General Office.

Get selective caller blocking service from your phone company. It allows you to block individual numbers. donotcall.gov does not stop the calls. The FCC does not assist. The $2 or 3 per month is worth it to stop the stress.

Received a call from 480-559-3618.  I answered but no one responded at the far end.  They finally hung up.   I also received a call from this number about a week ago on jun 30th with no message.  I am on the Do not call list, but that doesn't seem to stop telemarketers at all.

These people call several times per week. I have repeatedly registered this # with the DNC as well as THEIR own procedure for doing so. Today I picked up and listened to the message (which I have heard before) and pushed the button to speak with a representative. This time I waited for a response and when a representative came on I asked him to please remove my # from their list as I have continually used their procedure to do so but am still receiving calls. 'Mac' just hung up on me mid sentence. SO MUCH FOR THEIR CUSTOMER  SERVICE...I guess my comments did not fall into the correct box on his company script and proprietary notes. This company needs to educate it's employees on correct marketing procedures, such as DO NOT offend the customer you are trying to sell your product to.

They call me at least once a day, including weekends, on my office phone

They call here every single day too, and sometimes twice a day....so annoying!  I can't believe there is nothing we can do to stop this.

Various different things you can do

File a complaint with the FCC - http://www.fcc.gov/complaints

put the calling party number on your blocked senders list.

I have caller ID at home - which includes anonymous call rejection - for me to activate it is *77, it might be different in your area.

For land line - when you hang up, for an incoming call - a star code registers it as 'harassing" with the phone company (the code will be in the front of your phone book)

receive at least one call per day..I do not answer...caller does not leave a message...

I also get messages.  Only shows a wireless number and when you call back (because I was pissed), you get a message that the number is unreachable.  So, what does that tell you?  Scam, scam, scam.

work out of phx, chandler area and not sure if legit, wouldn't provide info on phone and want u to make appt so they can go to your home, sounds fishy. don't accept, ignore the call.  they tell  you will save 50% on energy bills but no valid names provided so that you can't even check with BBB (Better Business Bureau)

yes they will try to sell you a hvac system and tell you it will cut your energy cost...i.e. marketing.
