"The number you have dialed is not in service. Please check the number and try again. I100". This is what I get when dialing the number left on my recorder.

Ripoff alert! total scam..... tell them to take you off their list!

Name of company 'something' medical group... wants you to some fee to make an unreasonable amount of money working 1-3 hours a day from home... 2nd time I've asked to be taken off their list.. grrrr... of course there is a start up fee ... just out of curiosity called the number back.. mailbox was full and cannot accept new messages..gee, wonder why?

They call and when I don't answer they never leave a message.  I'm sorry, I don't answer calls from ppl that are not one of my contacts or a strange phone number.  If they truly want ME, they can leave a message.

Amen! I have the same policy. No-call lists do not work. Nothing works with some of these companies. But it is not against the law to not answer if you do not want to do so! This policy has not hurt me in the least. In fact, I get satisfaction in watching these scammers waste their resources trying to get me to answer-- even if it is an automated machine on the other end. This  is one sure-fire method to keep these crooks at bay. Do not answer!

They called multiple times and did not leave a message. Finally out of curiosity I answered and a woman was on the other end of the phone and demanded to speak to my husband. She even knew his name, but you could tell she was using a telemarketing type number due to delays in answering and the background noise/discussions.  When I asked why she was calling, she laughed and said my husband had asked them to call him (which he hadn't). I asked them to take us off their call list and the woman laughed, said "NO WAY" and hung up on me. I know she has some sort of scam, so beware. This is not a reputable organization.

These people are constantly harrassing me.  THe woman they ask for doesn't have this number we got her number in December and I get more phonecalls for her than I do for myself.  TOday they called 3 times the first two times I was disconnected and the third time some lady asked for the woman who had this number previously.  I told her to quit calling my house and she responded back she'll call all she wants and for me to quit being a B!@#h about them callling.  She told me to ask nicely and she may have my number removed from their list and I told her I asked nicely the first few times they called and now its getting to hard to be nice.  She then asked me if my mom taught me to talk nasty with people and that I should be ashamed of myself...I eventually told her to F@#k off and to quit F'in calling and hung up.  HOw do you stop this???? Oh and When I call back and it tells me the number I am calling is not in service.
