Matt Willes is the owner of Metro Delivery (AKA NuHomeOwner, GeoTrek, Compass, Crescent, etc.), Protection Source LLC, and a few other companies such as pest control.  You are correct.  These drivers put sham delivery notices on your door to trick you into calling.  Everything they tell you is to BS you into having a sales person come out and give you this high-pressure, scare-tactic laden sales pitch for a security system.  You will pay out the A$$ if you deal with this company, for example, the wireless contacts for doors/windows that they sell cost them $15 a piece, but they will sell for as high as they can and it's up to the sales person (usually around 50 but I've seen them sold as high as 80 to 100 a pop).  So imagine the markup on the rest of it.  If you ever met him face to face, you'd want to straighten his lazy eye with your fists; he's a f****ng snake.  I can't stand fake people, with his plastic smile and his consciously deepened voice.  Did I mention he cheats on his wife, Kris Willes?  It's true.

I GET IT... the Matthew Willes a***ole leave his piece of S*** CARD on your front door without knocking nor ringing the door bell BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING TO GIVE YOU and he has NOTHING TO SELL, AT THIS TIME. He wants your PHONE NUMBER and your INSECURITY. When you respond to his piece of S*** CARD, calling the phone number on the card (the phone line never identifies the company it is connected to) you are put on hold, the call times-out and the Answering Machine takes your name and number you never talk to a real person with this GEO TREK nor the NUHOMEOWNER company, there is no one to talk too. They would have nothing to say, He only wants YOUR INSECURITY AND FOR YOU to GIVE HIM YOUR INFORMATION.  HE uses the GIFT COUPONS when needed as a coverup the only way he can explain and excuse his first contact with you. These are the same GIFT COUPONS I recieve in the MAIL MONTHLY. With his piece of S*** CARD he leaves you under the impression you are getting a Package. A Package YOU NEVER RECIEVE, ENFORCING INSECURITY! He has what he wants YOUR NAME, YOUR PHONE NUMBER and YOUR INSECURITY. NOW HE CAN COME ALONG AND SELL YOU HIS SECURITY PRODUCT! I GET IT! ONE MORE TAPED PIECE OF S*** TO MY DOOR & I WILL SEE YOU IN COURT MATT WILLES!!!!!

i received a postcard from Metro Delivery in my mailbox.  it was not on top or bottom, but in between everything else.  the phone number to call says 214-393-9195 and you get a recording saying all lines are busy and to leave your confirmation # off the card and phone # where you can be reached.  the actual recording does not let you leave a message after the beep and it hangs up on you. kind of funny that the card is written a week earlier than it was delivered.  i just moved into a new house 4 months ago so i certainly hope they don't try to break in or they will have to meet my dog. :)

I'm sure you do, keyboard warrior.  Seeing as how none of these drivers are reported as Mexican nor has anyone previously posted the tactic of "no habla ingles".  Yea, we think you are just so cool.

They need to make a law that if a No Soliciting sign is up no the door that it is illegal to jam something in the door jam like a stupid advertisement that this Metro Delivery garbage is. Nobody wants this kind of snake oil advertising and if you are stupid enough to buy a security system from slinks that try and sell with these urban guerrilla tactics you get what you deserve, jerk faces.

When I hear or see some of these door hanging people walking up to my door and try and leave something I ask them to please skip my house, when they try and hand it to me and say 'no english' I say 'la migra' and point to myself; they scuttle their butts out of there quick then. Anybody that puts a door hanging advertisement on my door even though I have 'No Soliciting' in english and spanish in plain sight I make it a point to never ever patron their business. Sadly there are a ton of pizza joints I no longer buy from, sucks, but I stick to my guns on this because we as consumers are the only ones that are going to stop this.

Well I just received one of these over the weekend when I was out of town and I live in WA. Then yesterday morning there was a strange van with 2 strange men who stopped in front of my house point up my stairs and then at me... I'm sure it's all a coincidence but I'm going to go ahead and just believe it's not. The great thing is one of my best guy friends works for WA state patrol and SWAT. He said he would swing by and hang around a bit. My little brother who isn't so little plays baseball (HR champ) and said he could hang around as well with his bats LOL. My boyfriend is a big guy too and he is always there... probably a mistake if someone wanted to break in anyway... I don't want to freak out but I also don't want to let my guard down either. Yes it may be me being paranoid but that's alright. I would rather be a little paranoid then a lot dead or robbed! :)

At least as of September 2011, these guys are hitting the communities around Austin and San Antonio now.  Same MO but with the following numbers:  210 515 5276 (San Antonio) and 512 942 6211 (Austin).  The Austin number comes out to actually be Georgetown and that is one of the cities they are hitting.

Wow, I just got one of these lovely flyers, and I am always suspicious of anything like this.  Sad thing is, after reading what insidescoop said, my home was BUILT with a Guardian system, which we use and have enabled.  Really, what do these folks think they're going to get out of people whose homes are built with these systems, other than another number for their s****y telemarketers?

Scoop...you're a douche if you go telling the world what a piece of s*** company you just got fired from (likely from not doing your f****ng job) and its operational details.  Guilt my a**.  You're right about the economy, though, and when there aren't enough "legitimate" jobs, you have to hustle.  I would not feel the least bit ashamed partaking in this rather sophisticated-sounding hustle.  All that it means is that these people will be further targeted for advertising.  You can't walk out your front door without seeing an advert is some form, so who cares?  More junk mail.

I used to work for this company as a route driver and hated ever minute of it. But with a bad economy and having been laid-off for well over a year, I needed something. I heard about the job through a friend so I applied and got the job.
Right away I sensed that their way of advertising was deceitful and unethical and I dreaded leaving those tags when I knew there was no truth in them. But again, I needed a job. These drivers, by the way are independent contractors and are all in the same boat. They are all trying to earn a living in this bad economy.
Now the company does spend a lot of money on the booklets and the advertisements are valid. If anyone notices less random door flyers cluttering up their entryways, it's because Protection Source has made a deal with the advertisers to include them in their booklet for a fee. Pretty smart. But I do agree that deceiving people into calling to leaving a me just to get their phone number is not right. I was uneasy with that whole thing.
However, the home security system that they sell is a good product. Guardian is aware of how they target new home buyers. I guess they don't care as long as they sell their product.
Metro Delivery gets a list of all the new home buyers in the valley and Tucson. Every morning the dispatcher creates routes for each driver. One homeowner chased me down through the neighborhood and accused me of all sorts of things. I had to call the PD because this guy actually threatened my life and all I was doing was trying to support my family. It wasn't worth it. In fact, I called to report this to my dispatcher didn't seem to care that my life had been threatened. So I didn't stick around too much longer after that.
Too bad...they have a decent product, but their ethic stinks. I'm just glad I'm out of there.
In closing, I would like to apologize to all the homes that I delivered those deceitful tags to. And those who called and made the appointment and purchased the Guardian home security system, now own a decent product.
I no longer work for them, and I still don't have steady employment. But I also don't have the daily feeling of guilt. And that's the inside scoop.

I just bought a new home and like others received the suspicious looking hanger.  PH# 480-776-5088 and for Tucson 520-917-0222.  Don't know if there's any truth to the robbery thing, but glad I have a security system for sure!

I received this same door tag with my husband's last name + first name initial and the # of our house written in the empty space of the tag. The "confirmation number" was written in (as the name + house #) but everything else was printed on the tag. It had the San Antonio and Austin Area metro number to call but since it was after 7p when I got it, I did not call and Googled it instead. Sure glad I did. We are new homeowners too but already have an ADT security system so I'm definitely not interested in any suspicious crap they're trying to peddle. There was a white dude in a black 4-door vehicle that pulled up in front of the house across the street the other day while I was in my front yard and he looked at me and drove of. Not sure if that's the guy that put the tag on my door or what....

Also, found this article interesting about this whole Metro Delivery thing:
http://austincommunity.livejournal.com/7781616.html

The numbers on my door tag was:
San Antonio: 210-515-5276
Austin: 512-942-6211

Same store here in New Braunfels, TX.  The first time they came to the door I was home and meet him.  He handed me the door-hanger which said, "Sorry We Missed You.  We have a package of gifts to deliver."  He quickly walked back to the van.  I said, "I'm right here.  You didn't miss me." To which he replied, "Call the number."

A week later, another hanger:  "Second Attempt...We Missed you Again."  This time they didn't come to the house and just left it taped to our yard sign at the end of the driveway.  What a bunch of pathetic saps.  And what a waste of paper!

The numbers on my hangers are:
San Antonio Metro: 210-515-5276
Austin Metro: 512-942-6211

Just got the white tat from "Metro Delivery". I called them and asked them what it was about and they said they could not discuss it with me...because i was not the person whose name was on the ticket, yeah right. I told them since they will not release the reason for this ticket, i will contact the authorities. Which i did and they are looking into it.

I got the usual note on my door, just moved here from Indiana. I heard the guy come and go as I was in my garage unpacking - no ring of the door bell, just the note that second attempt, unable to deliver your package. Somehow they knew I'd just moved in. I had appointments with Qwest, Direct TV, and the builder, Pulte all around that time. So, just about anyone could have tipped them off. I suspected a scam, but the last time I moved some friends sent a house warming gift, so I ended up calling, got a message, left my number, and got a call back. They wanted to send me a package of coupons and make an appointment for a salesman. I figured. Within an hour I had another sales person call with a different product and then a barrage of calls for alarm systems, pest control, air conditioner maintenance, etc. Since I've also been getting lots of unknown out of area and 800 number calls despite promptly signing up for the do not call list. It's been a tough couple of months for my answering machine.
Then name I was given to call was "Metro Delivery"  The number they called from was 480 388-3659. I was called in Phoenix around the end of June. If you get their note, save yourself the trouble, and throw it away.

They know where we live but they won't give their address or company info when you call as I did to tell them not to come to my door again. (I am in a Private community no solicitation posted at the entrance.) Girl was very rude on the phone when she realized I did not call because I was interested in their services called me "paranoid" worded the same as one of the positive poster above. They need to be investigated. At giving this to local police and will have them alerted and will call when I see the suspicious car roaming the dead end street I live on, will call them right away. Let them answer the polices questions with insults.

Nobody is being robbed? I'm pretty sure anyone robbed isn't being robbed by anyone as stupid as "Metro Delivery".

Nobody is being scammed? False pretenses so you can pitch wares is a scam. There's no email, no coupons, if anyone was home when the delivery is made you have nothing to show but a tag.

Harassment? Most definitely.

You work for the scammer. Or are the scammer. I never received any coupons, just an aggressive sales push, and ever since I called them I've been getting spam calls from 603 numbers. It's a good thing I have a smart phone and have an app to block their calls, let them waste their time and money trying to call me, it's no skin off my back.

I like how the two positive comments are so close together in the time that they were posted. I bet they came from the same IP address. Give it up.
