After talking with one of the reps I found out that the company's name is I Local Listing. If you go to the website http://www.ilocallistings.com/DNC.aspx it has a do not call list to add your number to.

i work two jobs and both offices have received phone calls from this number.  after about 10 seconds, the person on the other end hangs up.  when i tried to call the number back after i hang up, the automated message says that the number is not in service at this time, or has been disconnected.  I contacted the phone company and they said that it is a fake phone number and that there is no way to trace it.  the best thing to do is to ignore it when they call.

I am also getting phone-calls from this number 982-0584 and would really like this to stip. It is very annoying and distraction. No serious people would do that.

What does one need to do to stop this continuous Google Susan nonsense?

I hang up on these people now....I just look at the number and know right away it is fake....so I answer and just hung up....they hate it when I do that and then they call back with a different number which I do the samething over and over....eventually...they give up....

I have 3 business phone numbers and "Susan" calls all three numbers - same as above, pressing 2 doesn't remove you from the list... Before I realized that they call all of our numbers, I managed to press 1 and get a live body (who didn't hang up on me) - he told me I have to actually talk to someone to have them remove our number... which he kindly did.  
Then I realized they're still calling the other 2 numbers!!!!!    The last 4 times they've called I press 2, and as soon as I ask to have my numbers removed they just hang up.   One very industrious young man (just yesterday) told me it was $1.99 to have our number removed!  Then he hung up.  What a scam!

I just yell F*** O*** as loud as I can in their ear.  If everyone did that they would probably stop calling.   For one thing robot dialers are illegal in Canada according to the CRTC.  

Reporting the call to The Do Not Call List does nothing.   I think they just collect their fat salaries and pensions, and all complaints are filtered into trash.  They are useless.  It's been going on for years and the CRTC has done nothing.

I get a call from this number lots of times it is a google rep trying to get my business (wich I do not have) on the Google website. Can you please remove my number from there list as I am a private number.

I am receiving calls at least once a day at my office from this #. It is a recording from Google Marketing. They give you 2 options, press 1 to speak to a representative or press 2 to be removed from the call list. I always press 2 and they still call. I pressed 1 just to see if a real person could help. Once I started to tell them the problem, I was hung up on. Not very good business practice.

Same old thing but no one on the line this time. Trying to call the number back yields the "Your call cannot be completed as dialed" message.

this number has been calling our business for the past few weeks. I always press the number to take me off of the calling list, however, this time I decided that i wanted to speak to a representative and ask them personally.

when the man picked up the phone he kept calling me "sweetheart" in a very condescending voice. I asked to speak to a manager and he then asked me not to complain to the manager because he didn't want to get in trouble. When I finally did speak to someone it sounded like the same guy (he was attempting to mask his voice). I asked him his name and he told me that his name was "manager". Then he laughed and hung up on me.

I tried calling back -- the number does not exist.

Do not answer this number. This is a scam of some sort. I also called Rogers and filed a police report.

we do... it's "susan, your local google specialist" - more like "jack***, our local mundane scam artist"...  I doubt entirely that this is even google, because even google won't ask you to press 9 to be removed from the list and when you do, it hangs up without a word more... even the good scam artists know to put a live person on the phone first

My office gets a call from this number once a day!!!  There is never anyone one there when I answer...not even a recording.  Wish I knew how to contact someone.  Very frustrating and distracting...
