They called my cell phone. I didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the number. They didn't leave a message. Clearly another spoofed spam call.

David Tabb is the owner of this organization.  His home phone number is reported to be (858) 578-1858, per a post on twitter.

They call home and cell numbers so they know who has bought a car recently and call both home and cell phone numbers.  I wonder how they look up cell phone numbers by name.  Did not know they could do that.  I changed cell numbers and got a call that week.  Did the DNC thing, took 20 minutes to answer all the questions online.  Looks like it is designed to discourage reporting.

I got the same bogus call from this number. No message left no name on caller ID. I'd like to know who is calling my cell and home from this number

they just called my mom.  she didn't answer it though.  over the past 6 months we've been getting random phone calls at the house and on everyone's individual cell phone numbers.  it's really annoying.

Thanks to those reporting, I knew not to answer.

Keep getting calls about the warranty expiring on my 2 yr old Hummer that is still under warranty on my COMPANY cell phone! Finally got sick of the calls and saw that someone in this string of feedback said to call back for a no call option. I did that just now so let's see if the calls stop! I am sure this is scam!

Got a call from this number on my cell phone. Didn't recognize the number so didn't answer. Irked me since I was in the middle of a hearing.  Yes, I forgot to turn off my phone. The number was on my log so could google it and talk to you nice folks.

Called my cell. didn't leave a message. I also kept getting those calls for expired car warranty and each time it is from a different area code or an 800 number. The odd thing is, i bought a used car 7 years ago and have never had a
warranty on it, manufactures or extended! Go figure

I get a call from these people almost every day. I've told them 3 times to take me off the list. The next call I get I will drill down to find the name of the company and then report them.

I've been receiving these calls on a regular basis on my cell phones...and I don't own a car! This is ridiculous!  How can we get these to stop???

I picked it up to stop the calls.  It is about a factory warranty on my car.  I told them I didn't have a car and the rep said that she would place me on the DNC list.  

Oh--and I'm on a plan and get a ton of these calls!

This number called my work cell.  I have limitted calls incoming so I new it was nobody I knew.  I didn't answer.  Now I read it was a good thing.

I got a call from this number on my work cell phone, didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message.  Obviously trolling phone calls.

"Your car factory warranty is about to expire, please call to renew it."  Since I own an old 1994 Dodge Caravan with high mileage and no factory warranty, sounds like the old scam where they sell you a warranty and once they get your money you never hear from them again nor can you contact them.  SCAM SCAM SCAM

They called my number twice and never left a voice mail.
When I answered the call ended.
How annoying.

Both my cars ar older than my children (1994truck & 1999 car) .  Call from this number was an agency wanting to "Re-Up" my car warranty.

I stayed on the line to "talk to a customer service representative" and as soon as I asked why I was getting a call on my OLD CARS. The guy hung up. Returning a call to this number gave me a "The number you called is no longer in service message".

got a call on my cell, this is the 3rd odd number on callingmy cell phone this week. After the 1st one, I signed up on the do not call.gov site but it must take some time to activate.

Its a shame the government can't step in and protect us from this.  I've received 9 of these type of calls in two weeks. Beware I've also received texts from so called Bank of America needing to update personal info.. I don't bank there!

I got a call from this number as well and they didn't leave a message. 412 551 5811 called me the day before and also did not leave me a message.

Marshall in Madison: NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER enter a do-not-call option for a number you don't know. If your phone is listed or number is traceable, you've proven to them that your number works. Same goes for "take me off your mailing list" email links.

That said, they called me too. Didn't answer, don't know what they want.

Car warranty idiots again.

The Do Not Call list doesn't work with these people. When a registered telemarketer calls a cell phone, the circuit doesn't put the call through - instead it lets them know it's a number they cannot contact.

These dicks calling about car warranties, home cleaning, zombie debts, etc. are all spoofing numbers. What they are doing is illegal. They are scam rings who got your number somehow and unfortunately there is no way to stop the calls. I've noticed, however, that the volume of this nonsense has greatly decreased over the past few months for me.
