i keep getting a call from this number have asked to be removed several times. They say that due to my 08 tax return i have been selected to recieve a 5000 government grant from the federal government that i don't have to pay back. Today when he called i stated that i have gotten the call before and i know they are not from the government because one i have not filed my taxes yet and two the address they are trying to get me to verify was never a registered state address. When i said this to the guy today i told him to keep the money himself or give it to some needed children. He then told me that i needed to do something i said what and he told me to take a finger and shove it up my a$$. Who are these people and how can i get them to stop calling me.

A man with a very heavy middle east accent left a message in my voice mail stating that his name was "Steve Martin" this was "A warning call" and the second I received message I was to contact him as "This is a time sensitive matter" and that I owed money to some business and he is attempting to collect a debt. He left a different phone number which was not an 800#, but I could not understand him. When I Googled the number that he called from, I found that there are a lot what appears to be scam calls to get personal information. Needless to say, I will not be calling him back.

This guy kept telling me that if I didn't provide him with information that I would be arrested tomorrow.  I was running out of time...is what he kept saying.  He gave me a calllback number of 310-421-9582.  Which after I looked it up is a scam as well.

I received a voice mail from an Eric Johnson..claiming to be an FBI Agent and I was in "big trouble" and they said I could not hide from them. He spoke broken english and left a call back number of 1-904-239-2953...on my voice mail and he had the last 4 digits of my SS#. I tried to call back the number left but it was "not a working number". I then received a call from a friend in a neighboring city shortly after that who had been  used as a reference on my resume on Monster in a job search and she was called by the same person claiming to be looking for me..wanting my address saying I was in big trouble and they were going to hunt me down and I was not going to get away with the fraud I had committed. Her caller ID had the same incoming phone # as my message which was different from the number left.

I called the police and then the FBE. The FBE said we are on to them and they are trying to scare people and extort money and cause trouble. The FBI is watching them and has a posting on their website about this group..it has also appeared on many news chanels. If you will please contact your local FBI office regarding the same and the local police maybe we can stop these guys. The Seattle number for the FBI is 206-622-0460. Or go to the FBI website and report their mischeif...so they can stiop these guys....they are being watched.....don't let them scare you.....they are calling from somewhere in Eorope or Africa..the FBI agent would not disclose too much because they are in the process of nailing them so give them all the info you have..save your messages as evidence..they are just trouble makers who must be stopped.

A chinese called from this number said I won some lottery. Never trust them.

We should band together and stop this nonsense.  They have no right calling our workplaces with threats.  It wastes so much time and energy & it has to be illegal.  

This is a scam, for sure.  I've never had a payday loan...NEVER.  They won't listen to me.

What are our rights with this?

Someone call from 496-909-8001 to say I had a EFT draft go back from a online payday loan I never had one I did apply once but with all the fees canceled it the think bothers me the most is he trying to tell me I getting sued by the US government and that he knew the info I enter online. I will never apply for anything like this again online I hope someone fines these guys.

Keeps calling my work for an employee that can not take personal calls.

This "Ryan Cruz" person called me from that number with a foreing accent and told me that he was calling me from the "Cyber Crime Division" and that he wanted my attorney's number.  Supposedly I owe some company money for a cash loan!! I laughed so hard because the company that I suposedly owe money doesn't even exist. I think I did apply for a online loan but I never even got it I actually canceled it. That's how this people got my information, they had the last four of my SS# they knew where I work and the names of my friends... I pissed off this Ryan guy and he hung up on me. I told him that the reason why I knew this was a SCAM is because The US Goverment Cyber Crime Division is not going to hire a person that can barely speak English. He hung up.

They claimed to be from FIA (Federal Investigations Agency) Leagal Form Collections - They stated that I had a loan from 2006 that was unpaid (all of which had been paid) Also they stated that if I didn't pay them almsot 8,000 dollars they had a warrent for my arrest. Also stated they wouldn't talk to me the would only talk to my lawyer. I asked them for their mailing address and they gave me my physical address. I have reported this phone number along with the 3 other phone numbers they have called from and there call back number to Secret Service, FBI, Local police, state's attorney general and the FTC.

No message - I do not answer calls from unknowns or no id;

keeps calling- when I pick up it sounds like no one is there- and if I do not answer- they do not leave a message. they have called over 20 times in 24 hours

Don't know anyone in this number. They have been very persistent. And when I answer, a computer is on the other line.

This number called my phone says to press one to lower interest rates.  My guess is if a number is pressed my phone gets a charged.  DO NOT ANSWER.  From the bulk of thses comments a total scammer who needs to learn how to make an honest living.

This is scam dont answer. even  your number is registered with do not call list, they will call you. dont answer if you see this number onb your caller is and set a different ring on your cell phone so you you know its that number.

This is an online dating scam from either Ghana or Nigeria. This guy is claiming to be a Harry Johnson from Jacksonville, FL. He came in through a back door onto Yahoo Messenger. He only wanted to chat online. I asked him where he was born, what little I did talk to him he had a French accent. His exact words were, "am born the states". Anyone chating and truly born in the US wouldn't have said that. Besides how did he get a French accent, speak broken english if he was born and raised in FL, I don't think so. Since my conversation with this imposter, my computer now has a virus. He only wanted to "chat online". Thank God, I had enough discernment to see, hear, and feel the red flags and I am glad that I listened. Check on scams from Ghana and Nigeria and be safe.

Who is the caller at 495-909-8001?  I monitor my calls. I did not answer this call and the caller hung up without leaving a message.

This company keeps calling me even though both my wife and I have asked them not to do so.  They claim my car warranty on my car is about to expire and to hold on for an agent.  When the agent (a native US English speaker) answers they ask for car make, model and year - they should already know this if my warranty is about to expire.  I asked for their company name and they simply said 'no' and hung up. SCAM!

Scammer from 'Nigeria' contacted me on Yahoo claiming to be Anita. Had pictures and went through the usual 'I love you and want to marry you' routine. Called after I gave a fake western union control number.

He said I owed 67 dollars for a privalege card. What the heck is that? They call every day at the same time. It is annoying.

Claims to originate out of Stutgart Germany.

Called our house left no message on answering machine

It was my mother...I didn't pick up b/c I wasn't familar with the number. She was calling to let me know that their home phone was down and they were calling through net2phone...So in conclusion this number belongs to Net2phone, which is a voice over IP service provider. I hope that helps others.
