Yes its true who ever it is sending the exact messages using different email accounts and names.its so scarey be careful they always ask for last asking price and that they have a 10 yr old daughter then want your information

This Stacey person replied about an add on Craigslist about adoption my two kittens. And send me
A check for 1,560.00 and keep bugging me to clear it and I'm refusing to do so.

I got the exact same message, definite scam! I got the message directly to my email and I had already deleted my craigslist ad!

I also received an email from Stacey with a gmail address of stb1951a. S/he wanted the asking price and a text to the number 501-436-9679. I wish I would have looked up the number before I replied to the email. :-/

Email...

"Hello,just saw ur posted pet on craigslist,I want some additional information,photo,condition, age and the last asking price.I look forward to ur hearing from u. pls text me on #(501) 436-9679.stacey"

I have gotten the same thing from Stacey asking alll the same questions above.. I never responded to text once I saw this person was interested in sending a pet mover to come pick up the dog.

I got a similar message from the same Stacey person! They were emailing me and sounded legit and then got all weird and started talking about having my dog shipped! Also, they texted me at like 1 in the morning, but wouldn't answer when I called. It sent me to some strange automated system! I've gotten a few other emails that are similar from different people on Craigslist, I think it's people trying to scam you! So it's probably a good idea to not give out your information!!

Got a email and text from this "Stacey Bauer" dude. I was trying to rehome my dog. He claimed he was going to send a certified check thru the mail. And then send a pet mover to get the dog. I told him we needed to speak with him personally and he never answered or returned our calls. I texted him that I didn't think he was legit and he wasn't getting my dog. Today, he messages me talking about I should be getting the check soon. I'm refusing his check!

This person doesn't even read the articles on Craig's List. I think he/she/it just collects emails.

My Craig's List posting was about a missing pet.

Yet, he/she/it inquired about my "asking price".

That makes no sense.
