They've been calling our house and hanging up when we answer. Today when we answered a woman who sounded like an african american woman asked for me by name but then hung up before we could respond. what a nuisance. I will call police, too, in louisville.

This number called tonight.  They knew my name and address.  Claimed to be a police organization trying to raise funds to help fight child sex trafficking.  Asked for donation.  Asked for credit or debit card number.  I asked them to mail something instead. Scam??? Idk???  Probably.  Deffinatly not a local police dept.  Why would I want to donate to another state.....

Calls all the time. Caller ID shows Louisville,KY. Leaves no message. If I answer the line is held open, but nobody is there.

called for police fraternity in la   gave him my friends  name who is State Trooper and told the caller that my friend said not to donate to  to such organizations. He hung up before i finished giving him the number..  Be careful  it seems to be a fake number  trying to get your information  and money

Just called our line and silence.  Our number is on the do not call list...thankfully my phone has the capability to save numbers I want to block...it's your typical Panasonic multiple handset phone system...it then will ring one time and that's it....good riddance  

Just called me. The line was crackling. A man started singing..."ashes to ashes, dust to dust." I asked who was calling they didn't respond. I just hung up.

Received a call from 502-442-7042. They knew my name, and address. They said they represent a charity involved with helping law enforcement protect children from predators. They asked for a small donation. When advised I could not do that at this time, they are supposed to send a mail out packet.

Receive calls from 502-442-7042 identifying himself as Officer James from different organizations, American State Police Association, Police Protection Agency, Police Benevolence Fund, etc., asking for donations to help fight teenage sex trafficking, families of fallen officers, college funds for children of police officers, etc.. I hope the legal system will track this scammer down and introduce him to the legal system by prosecuting and sentencing him to a correctional facility where this scum will receive daily anal exams from his fellow inmates for 20 years without the possibility of parole.

  Some kind of boiler room operation. I could hear other operators in the background. She asked for a name and I said "Nobody here by that name." She said, "Ok, thank you." She had a southern accent. It's some sort of calling operation but I'm not sure whether it's charity scam or what....

There is no reason why this number should be calling me.  Please take their number away

A man called from this # today, has called my house daily for the past week; asked if I was "Stacy", when I told him he had the wrong #, he thanked me and hung up.

Dude called me today and answered. Started his spiel about Policeman's charities I chimed in that he was a scammer and a criminal. I told him I reported him to the FCC and the Louisville PD. THen hung up.

I hate fake charities, I really do. This one is supposed to be affiliated with some policemen's charity, but why would I donate to one in Kentucky when there are equally needed charities right here in my hometown? Policemen's Charity -- arrest yourselves and leave me alone.

This number called me over and over.  Finally I picked it up and pretended to be my own Swedish housekeeper.  It was "Kenny" from some "policeman's association".  (Most of these are fake or poor-quality charities at best -- look it up!)  "My housekeeper" told him Madame said "when fake police clubs call. . . " and Kenny was ALREADY saying "okay, okay" in a soft voice (in effect, admitting it was FAKE!).  
The housekeeper hung up on "Kenny" after finishing the sentence "do not talk to them at ALL."

Laughs,states he is surprised to have reached me, refuses to identify himself, asks for my name, and hangs up.

I keep getting calls from this number also and the same thing!!!! Doesn't say anything. If anyone knows who these people are please leave message

This number calls our home phone up to 6 times a day and never leaves a message. We do not answer numbers we do not recognize. Caller ID just shows the number and Louisville, KY

This person (whoever it is) keeps calling my work blackberry and will never speak when I answer and never leaves a message when I don't. I'm just adding them to contact list and setting the call to go directly to vmail so that my phone doens't ring.  SO annyoing.

Got a call from this number today. The caller sounded half asleep. He asked for my husband and then me. I told him we were not home. He said "they are hard people to reach, I guess because they are working" I said "yes, they are". He never identified himself or the company.
