this is Gannett, the publisher of the Courier Journal here in Louisville, KY

It's the courier journal. Their sales department. Same building. Gannett is just who owns them. Use google if you wanna check.

Doesn't matter if you are on the national do not call registry if someone with the number has ordered the paper before. Don't you read the DNC list guidelines before writing all your info down? Once you have business with a company different guidelines apply.

If you want to be taken off the list, pick up the phone and ask to be put on the newspaper's do not call list. That's what I did. The calls stopped. It's not that hard.

Spam telemarketer call from Gannett newspaper subscriptions, which runs the Courier Journal locally. No idea how they got my cell phone number.

Keep recieving calls and no voicemail.  Looks like Louisville Courier Journal, which I just cancelled 2 wks ago due to them not delivering Sunday paper 4 weeks in a row.

Got a lost call from them.  I tried to reply with no answer.

I want the calls to stop

They just called.  Although I live in the 502 area code, my caller ID said, "Out of area."  No message left on answering machine.

I got a call from this number and it's "Gadet (?) Newspaper Subscription Services"  I'd love to know how they get my number considering I am on the DO NOT CALL list.

I have received phone calls from this number during the day, as well as late evening.  No message is left on my machine.  What's going on?  I am registered on a Do Not Call Registry!

I'm beginning to wonder if the so called 'do not call registry' actually works or if you are actually signing up to receive stupid people calling!!!  I didn't start getting all kinds of weird calls till I signed up for that.  Hmmmm.....

This number called us and didnt answer when my son answered the phone. I called it back and it was some newpaper subscription.

This # 502.582.7194 has called numerous times. I am on the Do Not Call registry. I would like to know that there is an easier solution besides not answering the phone when people like this call...

Caller did not leave message on A.M.
We just cancelled our home delivery effective Dec. 1, 2010.
Looks like they want to offer us a "deal".

We will play their silly game & attempt to get home delivery for less than half-price (which the Courier-Journal will do with some folks!).
Walmart offers the Sunday C-J newspaper for only 99 cents.

And the C-J needs newspapers "sold" either through subscriptions or retail sales to keep their circulation numbers up because the circulation numbers determine how nuch they can charge for advertisers, who are the ones that really generate the serious revenue for newspapers.
