I have looked up 6-7 phone #'s here and it seems that most are for a "free" cruise or a "free" home security system. I have got calls from Montana, Oregon, Washington, Nevada. You can place your cell # on the do not call list. You can report the company if you have the companies name with the FCC. If you do not have the company's name I'm told that you can report it to the FTC. If they use an auto dialer and you answer to get a prerecorded message on your cell phone report them to the FTC as this is illegal.

Got a call, no message.  Others say its an Insurance outfit.

My entire family gets calls from this number and we just ignore it.  However, now my mom is getting calls.  She is elderly and uses her phone for emergencies and to have contact with family.  I seriously resent her being pestered by these scammers.  Can anything be done to stop them?

I actually got 2 calls from Oregon which none I know. Come to think of it, They were both health insurance

They called me on my cell. It's a health insurance i'm pretty sure. i picked up and it waas a recording. They are from Oregon.

This number called me early in the morning, I did not answer and they left no msg.

Recorded message trying to give away a "free cruise".  I hung up in <10 sec.  Other posts state the purpose of this call is to collect your personal information.
