I had the same thing happen to me today i asked to speak to a supervisor as i never owed this and it was supposedly from cash net.  He told me i could not speak to one and said they were coming to my work to arrest me so he wished me the best of luck to me and my kids.  He kept hanging up i kept calling.  They continued to calll my work and cell.  I went to the bank and he googled the number and informed me this was fraud.  They are doing it by emailing you and it looks like it is from your bank and it will say your account has been compromised telling you to press this link below when you do it gives them your information.  The bank said never press the link the bank would not have you press a link it will say in web tool bar your bank then a bunch of numbers this is how you know it is fraud.  Just wanted to let everyone know how they do this.  When i left the bank it took me several times to get ahold of them after busy signal,disconnected number and so on then they anwered and i informed them that they were a fraud company and i have contacted the police then they hung up.  I got back to work and a number 000-000-0000 called and here we go again i told them i would need to write everything down as i have contacted my bank and the police as i have been getting fraud calls  then they hung up and havent heard from them since.

I've been receiving callls from this number for about 3 or 4 months. They're very rude and constantly call my job, home, and also cell cursing and making threats. On last night I was checking my bank statements and realized that these people are making fake checks  under the account of Direct Benefits Group LLC. I called the number and spoke with someone by the name of Jason. Jason sounded just like Adam the SCAMMER that called me the very first time I started receiving the calls. Jason told me that I had applied for a PayDay loan and that they were taking money out of my account because I refused to return their calls. PLEASE WATCH && CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENTS. ANYTHING FROM DIRECT BENEFITS GROUP, LLC IS A FRAUD AND IT'S THE SCAMMERS. THIS I KNOW FOR A FACT. I AM 100% SURE THAT IT'S THEM. They also have a website, and I think that It's set up for individuals to leave their information so that they can eventually start stealing their money. I went to my bank and they told me that the the Direct Benefits Group LLC check was fake and that the check was made by the SCAMMERS. Instead of getting your signature the SCAMMERS has authorization on file at the bottom of the check. They have a number at the bottom of the check and Jason will be the man that you speak with. When I first received a call from these people, I knew it was a SCAM because I NEVER applied for a PayDay loan. 800-294-7112 IS THE # AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CHECK FROM DIRECT BENEFITS GROUP LLC. THIS # ALSO SHOWS UP AS PAYDAY LOANS.

503.339.1253 called my cell phone.  People from INDIA that use fake American names.  They use software that makes it look like their caller I.D. is within the U.S. but in fact they are physically located in India.  DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR THREATS !  They are SCAMMERS.  They make you believe you owe money but you DO NOT.  They get your name from pay day loan companies.  SIMPLE SOLUTION:  calmly tell them you have called the police, the FBI, the FCC, and the State's Attorney's office and have reported them and their phone number.  I guarantee you will NOT hear from them again.

I received calls from this company about 4 times over the past two months.  The first one was telling me that I owe cashnet $300.00 and that I need to pay $100.00 to get this out of legal standing.  Yeyy okay! I checked my bank statements and NEVER received any funds.  The second time was from a "James Brown"Lol 615-724-7999 telling me that I owe this f*cking money and that I need to pay up.  While when I was finshed cursing him out, he called the front desk at my job saying that I was a prositute that owed him $500.00 and I better pay.  And he kept calling back. The final call was today from "Robert Brown"lol 503-339-1253 stating that I dont have any representing me at court tomorrow.  And if I dont show up the cops are going to take my kids from me, as well as my assests.  Foreal?? lol My kids and assests- oh and now I owe $5750.00.  This company is a load of crock.  I told him to NEVER call me back in fact take me from their call list that I knew they were a scam.  I have credit protection so they can have my social all they want.  I will NEVER apply for a pay day loan again.  I kinda wish I actually got the money.

I received the exact same phone call twice, the second time I threatened to press harrassment charges on them while cursing them out! I do no have a payday loan from anybody! I agree do not give them any formation! I asked them for some info and he had nothing, so after I went off on him I googled the number only to find out I am not the only person they tried this on. It's amazing how many people can obtain your information!

I have had the same experience with my home and cell numbers. Upon reading the posts here, it ocurred to me that these calls started coming in shortly after I researched some payday loans online, including filling out some applications.  It turned out that I didn't need the money, but my email inbox and voicemail were filled for a few weeks.

My bet is that these folks somehow acquired information from one of these websites. Would any of you who have posted here please re-post and say whether you recently applied for something like a payday loan?  It might help narrow this down.

I get these calls every now and then on my cell and today they called me AT WORK!  I always give them a hard time and refuse to be helpful but try to get as much info as I can out of them.  I plan on doing everything I can to report this to whoever I can.  The thought of them taking advantage of people who may be more gullible is sad.  Today he told me someone was coming to drive me to the courthouse, whatever that means!

I received a call fromm 503-339-1253 today.  I was walking in the office at work while my co-worker was taking a message from this guy.  He told my co-worker that he was from American Legal Services and if I didn't return his call I would be arrested.  Of course with a threat like that, I called back right away.  He starts off telling me that I have been sent 15 e-mails that I haven't responded to and I have charges for fraud and insufficient funds.  The gist of it was that I supposedly had gotten money from a web-site and when they tried to take the money out for repayment for a loan it was returned as NSF which somehow made it fraud.  I tried to find out more information about what I 'supposedly' had done.  All I could get out of him was that it was from someone named cashnet that is a type of online bank for a list of different web-sites.  He could not tell which web-site I had done this transaction, when, what it was for or any other information. He kept saying he was not a customer service and I should already have this information.  He also kept saying that if I didn't pay immediately that he would send an investagor out who would 'haul me to court' and 'my type of people never win these sort of cases'.  He would need send me any information and that the investagator would 'give me the information before hauling me away'.  I tried to stay very calm with him but it did worry me that he had my e-mail, social security number, address, 2 "references" - my mom and sister.  Then he said why would I have this information unless you had provided it.  I told him it would be stupid of me to give him any more by phone without more information.  He then get rude again and said that he would tell his supervisor I refused to cooperate.  I said okay and hung up.  ***This has gotta be a scam!***

Just got a call from a man by the name of MARK HUDSON who left the same message on my machine indian accent and sounded threatening only someone far away would say something about "goodluck to your kids"... he read to me some court paper's and that when I got arrested I would have to post bail and pay $5484.00 plus the $786.87 he sounded so threatening to me that I was stupid enough that I faxed(1-888-391-5322) him the 2 letter's (a request letter,authorization letter) that he requested and a copy of my passport the only good thing was that I crossed out the # of my passport,he gave me the number to his financial care rep the is 1-520-208-2729 and that his name is RAY CRUZ and with an indian accent I asked the guy for the info to western union the money by 1:30pm and he told me to call him when I was at the western union cause it's from bank to bank. Thank GOD I called my friend and she told me to GOOGLE the number and when I saw all these messages I was so pissed off at my self for falling for this sh*t!!! THANK GOD I DIDN'T SEND HIM THE CASH TO THIS BAS***D THE $786.87 DOLLARS!! I CALLED HIM AS SOON AS I SAW THIS SITE AND CURSED HIM OUT AND TOLD HIM HE WAS A SCAMMER,HE CALLED ME BACK AND CALLED ME A BAS***D YOUR GOING TO JAIL!!! I TOLD HIM SEND ME WHO EVER YOU WANT BAS***D AND HE HAS NOT CALLED ME BACK!! SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE TO STOP THIS PEOPLE FROM SCAMMING US!!!!

i rec'd a call from 503 339 1253. this was very muffled. he left a voicemail on my cell phone. i could not understand him. it just didn't sound right. i think its a scam.

Hi, for two weeks now I have been harrassed by these people.  The first number they had called from was 1212454511, which is definatly a foreign number.  The person advised me to call 503-339-1253, this was due to the fact that I could not understand a word he said.  So I called this number, and someone by the name of Mark answered, Mark, had a very thick accent and went on to say that I was going to be arrested because I owed a company by the name of cashnet over $700.00, they apparently deposited funds into my account.  First off If I had any extra money in my account I would have known.  I began to question the transaction; what date, the specific amount and which account had recieved the funds.....Mark informed me that he was not my servant and that I should have recieved several emails from his company, American Legal.  I must admit, I was nervous and felt invaded upon.  Mark, then began to inform me that I was under investigation and the next morning when the authorities arrive at my home, I will be on my knees, begging for mercy with tears in my eyes.  I was a wreck by this point, they had just threatened me.  I began making phone calls, the bank, the phone company, my husband, my parents, they all said the same....DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION********* So the next day arrived, no one showed up for me, LOL!  I seemed to have my s**t together, there it was again at 10:15 am I received the same call, only this time I did not answer.  I had decided to give Mark a call, and offer to make good on this debt.  He was very excited although he needed to ask his supervisor if in fact I was able to pay at this time.  He put me on hold for about two minutes, and then I then asked him he came back on and told me that he had wonderful news, I was able to make good on this money that I supposedly owed his company.  I just needed to fax in to him an authorization, blah, blah, blah.... I then asked him again, what the date was that "cashnet" had made the deposit into my bank account.  Once again he reminded me that he is not my servant.....I lost it, right or wrong I could not contain my words, I became irrate and very, very mean.  He ended up hanging up on me, which was probably for the best considering that I was in this and not willing to let up on these people.  They were going to know just where I stood.  A week went by and once again I recieved another call, now from 213-373-1768, telling me the same thing.  I answered and informed them that they would never get anything from me, they wished me luck and told me that the authorities are coming for me, I informed them that I am fine with that and to please send the authorities.  I cannot wait to see what today will bring...........ok, so how do we stop this from continuing?  These people must really think that us Americans are really that stupid.  I just want these calls to stop, please if anyone out there has any suggestions then please let me know...thanks;)

Just got the same call from 1-212-454-511 again on my cell and job number but the message is very muffled and unclear and the person leaving the mesg speaks boken english and hard to understand what he saying but he asked me to or my atterny to call back 503-339-1253 and said good luck and read some scripted message. So it walks and breaths scamish, so don't fall for it.

Received two phones calls very similar to the ones listed above.  Same name used and hearing muffled.  When asked to send information he refused and began using a threatening tone.  He would not officially identify himself or a company he was working for.  Very strange.

I got a call from an Indian or other orgin speaking individual from 1-212-454-511 is the number that came up on my caller id and he also called my job number and left both types of scripted mesg on my vm.  The call message was muffled and I couldn't hear not alone understand what he said but he did leave that number to call back 503-339-1253 right away and if not a 'good luck I can't help you' type of ending.

So on my break today I returned the call and someone name Mark answered (didn't use a scripted job name greeting) he just said 'hello, this is Mark", I advised that someone called me on my job number, he then wanted the number from which I was calling from and my name.  He asked me if I knew about some case that is in court or lawsuit...not exactly sure because I couldn't understand his words (he spoke in sort of broken English), but I advised him that I would have to call him back later and that was the end of it.  I didn't know who or what he wanted or for what he was calling about, but I did Google his number and it is in Salem, OR state.  I don't know anyone there or did business there, so I am seeing this as a scam and nothing less..
