Yes, I am getting the same calls every day now too, same as everyone else on this web site reporting... its automated harassment and I dont even have an account with wells fargo... its something that should be stopped, most likely through legislation... if they would only organize a class action suit against wells fargo for robo calls etc, then everyone on this list could be entitled to file damage claims for harassment, stress and anxiety.

I am researching into this number i recieved 6 calls once a day for the past month i'm annoyed but once i have figured it out i will have a lawyer on top of this matter.  I am a wells Fargo client they overdrew my account i think to make money for themselves i have this account on my paypal and instead of denying charges and letting it go to my credit card they overdrafted my account 400 dollars i refuse to pay them i even went to the bank and argued they would not budge.

I JUST CALLED TO FIND OUT WHO IT WAS AND IT'S WELLSFARGO

Spoke to an operator who started the call with "can I get your Account # and/or Social Security #? Oh and I also noticed a voice shift from a young white lady who said "thank you for calling..." and then some different lady finished saying "...wellsfargo can I get your account #..." so I was like, wtf??? then asked who was calling and she was like Sir, you called first, what is your first name...I'm like hahaha I knew this wasn't wellsfargo (u know cuz I just looked up the # here). Then she got all jumpy and I just hung up.

I'm going to call Wellsfargo and ask them what's going on...
(CALLING...)
...Ok so I spoke to the operator and I guess all of us who have been reporting it have let them know and they're very well aware of it, but according to the operator there's not much they can do about it, but report it.

SO THIS IS A SCAM!! DON'T GIVE ANYTHING TO THEM

It is NOT Wells Fargo.

If you get these calls please send an email to Wells Fargo.  reportphish@wellsfargo.com

Include the number and what they've said to you, or if no one is speaking, include when and how often they call.

When I called to have them remove my number from the call list they asked for my account number and my SSN.  hahahaha.  No.

Thank you for the info. I didn't want to call the number to substantiate that they are calling a real number. I am glad to know they ask fir an account number. Even better reason not to call back. I get 4 - 5 hang up calls a day. They don't even let it ring a full ring happen.

I also got a call from them.   Here is the really strang part they called several times and when I talked to them they did not know my name but wanted me to give them my names and SS number or my bank accout number.

If they are for real they would know who I am and my information.    This sounds like a scam.

Do not talk with these people if they can not prove the have a valid reason to be calling.   They should not need you to give them personal information.

503-403-2695 called me twice today and once yesterday.  They never leave a message.  I DO actually have a Wells Fargo account that is overdrafted, but I'm depositing money soon to cover it, so I'm not going to call them back.  If they leave a message, I'll just deal with it at my local branch (in Arizona).

They call multiple times per day and don't leave a message.  Its extremely frustrating because I am not allowed to answer my cell phone at work.  I am only allowed to even have it at my desk because I have some family emergencies going on, so my boss lets me leave it at my desk so I can see the caller ID and if it is my family, I can then step out an call them back.  I finally excused myself from my desk to call this number back and when a voice recording picks up, they identify as Wells Fargo Bank.  I didn't wait on the line because I had to get back to my desk.  I did send an e-mail to Wells Fargo Bank yesterday and told them to quit calling me cell number and gave them an alternate number to call if they really need to reach me, but so far, it has been ignored.  I don't know what they want, but I will be reporting them for harrassment if they continue to call my cell phone several times a day and don't even have the courtesy to leave a message.  They are using my minutes and making me a nervous wreck, because everytime my phone vibrates, I think it is a medical issue with my elderly mother at home, which is the whole reason I am een allowed to have my phone at my desk!

This is the reply I got from Wells Fargo when i questioned this call...AFTER calling the 503 number back and being told "Sure, it's ok if you go into a branch to handle it. I know it's weird we have a 503 area code"...DEFINITELY a SCAM.

"Thank you for contacting Wells Fargo. My name is Ashley, and I am happy to assist you.

I understand your concern regarding a suspicious telephone call you received. It was a fraudulent telephone call.

When speaking with an individual claiming to be a Wells Fargo team member, do not give out personal information over the telephone unless you initiated the contact. If the call is not initiated by you, always ask for a call-back number. Before calling the number, use legitimate sources to verify the number you were given including:

- Wellsfargo.com
- 1-800-TO-WELLS (1-800-869-3557)
- Official contact information on your bank statements
- Phone numbers listed on your ATM, Debit Card, or Credit Card"

There ya go...wish we could all get these jerks

I screen all my calls, so I've never answered to this number. But, this number dials my phone every few hours throughout the day. I don't want to waste my minutes on answering to this caller and I'd like for them to stop calling me.

It is Wells Fargo and they will not stop calling. I have no account or anything with them. They call most every day on my cell phone. When I call them as ask to be removed they swear that they already have. But about 10:30 every morning there they are.

Obviously something is very screwed up in their system.

My accounts were FINE...called Wells Fargo and they confirmed that these people have been calling and bothering their customers. DO NOT give them your information. Wells Fargo will NOT call you and ask for your information-EVER.

NOT WELLS FARGO. These people are fishing for information to gain access to your accts. That's why they are asking for your acct numbers and full social security numbers. If it were actually wells Fargo calling you they would actually leave a message.

Been getting these calls multiple times a day for a week from 503-403-2695.  Thought at first it was one ex harassing another ex.  Did a reverse phone look-up and found it to be a landline from Beaverton, Portland, Greater Portland metro area, OR.  Googled this number and found this web page and all the conflicting information about Wells Fargo.

Not wanting to call the 503 number in case it was a scam or ID theft ring, I called Wells Fargo customer service and explained the situation.  That person transferred me to the Wells Fargo Overdraft dept.  That person CONFIRMED that the 503-403-269- numbers were, in fact, Wells Fargo phone numbers.  I gave that person my number and she asked me about a name connected with their accounts.  I verified that no such name was connected with me or my phone number and that I do not have and never had a Wells Fargo account.  The representative then told me that my number would be removed from their records, and that was that.

So calling Wells Fargo customer service at 1-800-869-3557 and explaining the situation solved the problem.

This # is from Mci Metro Ats Inc. SUPPOEDLY, a Wells Fargo Collection contractor, although they claim no connection to them. TI am posting this on all other sites dealing w/ Wells Fargo complaints & clear, clear, wrongs to their clients. I have heard several complainants suggesting class action or whatever appropriate suits.
I too have been cursed, outright called a liar, CONSTANTLY interruped-(never aloud to speak),& after completley working all things out with my bank, was still called a liar & white trash All over a SSI check mistake & 285$.
The & in many common thread I am seeing that this is extremely intrusive,& in many cases, defaming & slanderous.
I more of these posts than I can count, i have heard serious mention of grounds for a lawsuit. If you agree, plese post back, I will open an email site only for this, & as a group, see if we have legal grounds.
Thank you in advance.        he scary thing is they know ALL of your personal information!

Btw... I work for Wells Fargo.
I called ans verified that this number did not belong to the company.
If suggest that if you get a call from someone claiming that they are from Wells Fargo ir any other bank and they are asking for you to verify information that you do one of two things:
1). Tell the person on the other end of the phone that you will go into a branch and verify the information in person.
OR
2). Call the 800 number on the back of your ATM or debit card and verify the information with the banker over the phone.  At least this way you know you are speaking with someone who works for your bank.

This number is NOT Wells Fargo!
It's a scam. They are fishing for information so that they can gain access to your accounts.
When you call the number there is a recording they use to make you believe that you have called wells fargo. I repeat it is not the bank!!
The person who comes on the line will ask you to give them your account number or your (entire) social security number "so that they can confirm your idenity".
In reality if you provide them with any of this information you will be helping them gain access to your account.
