Huh? Land-lines do NOT get charged for "incoming" long-distance.
Some cell-phone plans charge for "minutes", whether "incoming" or "outgoing", but most of those plans that do charge do NOT charge extra for incoming long-distance.

I keep getting this number calling. If I'm not home I show the number called but no msg is left. If I do pick it up the cruise ship blasts are all I hear before hanging up. I've had this on my cell as well. It bugs me because I'm on the Do Not Call List with both my cell and home phone but these guys seem to be able to get through. Both phones are in Ontario and cell is with Rogers.

YES!!!! The apps for the phones are GREAT!!! They will block unwanted numbers AND you can block the BLOCKED numbers as well. Will send it directly to your voice mail. I use it all the time.

Called my cell very early this morning. I ended the call so it would go to voice mail and no message was left. Shame it's a scam number or I would see how they like a 4:30am wake up call for calling me so early.

I just finished googling another number that I was supposed to dial to be removed from a fax list -- but I know I've done that at least twice before, and obviously wasn't removed. So when this number was on the display, I took the paper out of the fax and googled the number to see if it was legitimate, and got your nice little "report it" site. Obviously no one I knew was phoning in. thanks for the opportunity to report.
Maybe the answer is to not provide paper for printing. If someone really needs to fax you, they can let you know ahead of time.

this numbered called me late last night. i didnt answer it cause i seen the 503 area code. im on rogers cell in ontario. i didnt answer them,thank god. i hope they dont keep trying. i know we have a dont not call list in ontario, but this rule dont apply for callers from outside of the area.

It is our phone companies that r giving out the information and when u call in to have the numbers blocked they say they can't .... WELL THEN STOP SELLING OUR INFORMATION TO MAKE U MONEY, WHILE WE GET CHARGED TO RECIEVE THEM. STOP THESE ANNOYING CALLS !!!! AS IT IS OUR PROVIDERS FAULT WE R GETTING THEM !!!! calls my business and hangs up on answer, won't leave message and appears to be linked with other harassing phone numbers. If I ignore the call I get 2 more from different numbers about 12-13 minutes apart.

Just had the same 503 number call me in BC. To the poster who is with Bell and said you can't block incoming calls, that's not entirely true. If you have an iPhone for example, there is an app called iblacklist which allows you to block calls and texts from whatever numbers you designate.
