At 5:14 p.m. today this call came in. I didn't answer it. Caller ID said "Obama Home Help" and the number was 503-563-0089.

These and other scam calls offering a variety of scams, have an Oregon area code. In the last 60 days, I've received over a dozen calls from this same Oregon area code (different numbers, same area code), ranging from they've discovered a virus in my computer to they want to help me with my mortgage (don't have a mortgage as property is paid off). Impossible to tell if they are really located in Oregon--however, the few times an actual human spoke, they had a Pakistani or Indian accent. It is a shame we can't tie a rock around their neck and drown them in the toilet.

Yup, me too just now.
They do make it sound like they're your mortgage company BUT they never actually say who they are. If it were really my mortgage company, the message would have identified the company.

I got the robo call about refinancing my mortgage. They made it sound as if they were my mortgage holder without actually saying so. Nothing about Obama in my call.

Strange! I got this call from this number on my caller ID and when I tried to call several times, there was no ring tone, just dead silence. I suspect it must be a scam too and is "full of baloney."

Robocall about refinancing my mortgage. Of course, when I pushed the number to talk to a person, I got nothing.
I wanted to talk to a real person to ask why they were calling me since
a) I'm on the national Do Not Call list, and
b) I don't have a mortgage to refinance, and haven't since I paid it off a decade ago.
