OH NO SOMEONE'S CALLING ME AND ASKING ME TO PAYBACK MONEY THAT I SPENT THAT WASN'T EVEN MINE IN THE FIRST PLACE?!??!! OH MY F****NG GOD NO!!!

You people are ridiculous. Is this what America has become? A Bank as large as Wells Fargo is being called a, "Scam" by you people because they are calling and asking the consumer, of which enjoyed goods and services rendered by Wells Fargo, to pay back the money of which was lent to them to enjoy those very goods and services.

Let me paint a picture. You lend someone $300 bucks (which I'm assuming is the only credit you schmuks can get it) and they aren't picking up the phone 2 months after you gave that money to them. Wouldn't you be calling on a regular basis  to try and get your money back? Well here's the difference. You made a promise to the original creditor and you signed a CONTRACT that solidifies that promise in the Court of Law, it wasn't just word to mouth. ALL OF YOU MOTH******ERS know exactly what they are calling you about but you have made a pre-disposition, a lie that you have come to believe in your own head that stealing from banks and large corporations is ok so you just pretend you have no idea what the f*** anyone is talking about and some random debt was incurred out of thin air. Well guess what? These banks make MORE MONEY the MORE MONEY THEY LEND OUT.

You are only negatively effecting yourself by not atleast speaking with these people and finding a way to have the account moved forward in the right direction through negotiations to not only improve your credit but to avoid being taken to court due to non-payment which is happening more and more these days and people are getting their wages garnished because they refuse to have a f****ng converation over the god damn phone.

A phone call never hurt anyone, ever, other then the Debt Collector that is calling you that has to worry about Federal Laws known as the FDCPA, you can talk to people and not be a scared little bi*** and not pick your phone up.

Three calls from an A-Hole supposedly from Wells Fargo.  It says Wells Fargo on the caller ID.  Unbelievable asks for a person from 8 years ago.  Can't believe this is really Wells Fargo.  If so,  Way Bad.

I received my first call from this number about a week and a half ago.  They have called every day since.  I called my local Wells Fargo Bank to inquire and was assured that this is a Wells Fargo number.  I gave the manager at the bank my name and SSN and was assured that no one has taken out credit in my name.  I was concerned about identity theft, but this is not the case.   I have no bank account with them and have never had anything to do with them for myself.  He said all he can do is tell me not to worry, because nothing is wrong and he has no idea why they are calling me, because it IS a number that calls for late credit payments.  It sure seems like there should be a way to stop this.  They call  every day and they never answer when I pick up.   I see posts by people clear back in 2009 that show they have been doing this a long time.  All we can do is promise never to do business with Wells Fargo and spread the word.  I'll do my part.

Anyway, I offered them less since it was not my account to start with but they said it was so we are at an impasse. 25 cents and you can get it off your books, or 100 percent of nothing.

This is NOT Wells Fargo; it is an outside debt collection agency that has a Wells Fargo account. They used Wells Fargo Caller ID but their pay checks are not from Well Fargo. I do have a co-signed account so they are coming after anyone who will pay the bill, they offered 55 cents on the dollar.

They wanted my social security number off the bat. I didn't give it to them. Seems like a scam to me.

I keep receiving calls from this number, even receiving them on my cell phone.  I would like it to stop.

This was Wells Fargo and it was because I had missed a payment on my account. I'm typically pretty resistant to give any info but it was legit. Actually, you should never just call random numbers back and then give them all your info...but yes it was Wells Fargo and this time there was a reason. I had been mistakenly placed on their auto-dialer before and it was pretty bad (not related to this call).

Started getting call from this number on Friday 10/05/2012 Caller ID says WELLS FARGO - I DO NOT EVEN HAVE ONE Wells Fargo Account.  BEVERTON PD HAS BEEN CONTACTED - PLEASE CALL THEM AS WELL

Got numerous calls from them and I DO NOT owe on any credit cards.  I finally called them back directly to see how they answered, and a guy picked up and said "Wells Fargo, what's your credit card number?"  I refused to give him any numbers and he went on to say if I felt uncomfortable with giving my cc number, to give him my SSN.  When I didn't do that he got very frustrated and I hung up on him.  I called Wells Fargo and asked if there were any messages on my account.  There were no messages or alerts.  The gentleman checked the list of satellite Wells Fargo office numbers and said that wasn't one of them.  The folks behind 503-716-9584 do not appear to be Wells Fargo in any capacity.

I haven't done business with Wells Fargo since my "free for life" checking started costing me every month, years ago. They don't know who I am, since I don't give out this number. Are you by any chance one of the scammers???

Mine is a cell phone. No one has this number, so it's either a scam, random solicitation, or a wrong number.

Many cell phones offer a "block" feature, either on the phone itself or through the provider. Look into this. Also, tell them about this, and they may credit some of your money back to your account.

Says, "Stay on the line for an important call." Since they don't know who I am and are NOT THERE when I answer, how important can it be? Reminds me of the scam several years ago where if you stay on the line, it switches to a very expensive overseas number, which bills back to you.

I receive multiple phone calls every day from this number.  I wish to prosecute these people for harrassment.

This number continually calls and hangs up. Called back it was Wells Fargo Collections but no one knows why it calls and hangs up

503-716-9584 is a Wells Fargo Bank debt collector.

The phone calls are TEN to TWENTY calls a day!!!

I have sent WELLS FARGO a CERTIFIED letter, and recieved their signature that they received the letter demanding that they "cease and desist" from making these harrassing and illegal phone calls.

I answered the phone call  on March 29, 2010 at 8:29am central time.  It was a young man saying he was from Wells Fargo and that I was late on my credit payment, and encouraging me to pay by check over the phone.  I told him, that I wasn't going to pay that way, and quickly got off the phone.  I have had calls from the number before, but never had anyone answer the phone.

10 To 20 Calls a day.They don't stop.They leave no message,you pick up and no answer.They are harrassing calls.
