do not call list is a joke. Same for the F.T.C  OHIO ATT GENERAL SAYS NOTHING CAN BE DONE. I appeal to the tecno wizzards to come up with a blocking app for our phones, so when we hit the noumber one it will send a virus back to the callers phone and disable it. i will pay 2 0r 3 hundred bucks for such a chip. we have got to fight back people. together we can make these idiots stop DAVE IN OHIO

This telephone number belongs to Pacific Telecom Communications Group.  They insist that they do not initiate illegal telemarketing calls, however they are involved in managing the calling lists for their "3rd party contractors" who make the telemarketing calls.

I started getting calls from this number after I received a text that said reply stop to discontinue the texts Since I did that I got 2 calls from this number in 3 days. Needless to say the text came from a 480 (AZ) phone number which I called back in stealth mode and of course it wasn't in service.

Do not reply back to text messages to stop unless you originally opted in.  This is how they get your number and will sell it to others.

Got a call this morning from 503-902-8112. I never answer calls from unkown phone numbers. I let it go to voice mail. I then call them back from my google voice phone number on my smart phone, which allows me to stay pretty much anonymous, (I never give this number out). If I get a call on my google voice number, I'll know its B.S. so I don't answer it. I then add them to my phone contacts and have my smart phone direct that call right to voice mail. I never evningr hear the phone ring. They should not be allowed to call cell phones because we pay forboth  out going and incoming calls. Why should I have to use up my minutes to hear a F*CKING telemarketing call!!!????

I received a call from this number and when i answered, a recorded message said "please press 1, to take a short survey regarding the Phoenix police dept and Arizona Law Enforcement" Considering it is an Oregon number, i hesitated and didn't press anything. The number quickly disconnected. Hhmmmm not ok!

They call everyday and i just hang up on them. I never answer the phone. Don't these morons know that most people have caller id?

I got a call from automated system claiming to be google data compiler. My business line has been harassed by this number for about a year now. every few months I'll get a call. A few months ago I dialed 1 to advise to take me off list and got into a verbal confrontation with a man who was very rude. The last call I got i dialed 1 again, hoping to speak with someone nicer and perhaps get their address to send a cease and desist letter, but the guy that answered immediately hung up on me.

No message.

I just called 503 902-8112 from my PC. A recording answered and said "'Welcome to the automated Do Not Call Registry."

Following the prompts I punched in the number at which they called me,  then the recording repeated the number and then said that it had been removed.

I note that at no time did I hear from the recording any hint of an identification as to name, purpose, type of business, address or phone number.

I only know that I was told that I put my phone number on somebody's Do Not Call Registry list, and that my phone number has been removed. I do not know who's list. I do not even know if it is a real list.

Probably a Telemarketer but I still do not know for sure.

Take note that the caller id appeared as 'Search Engine' which leads to believe that we are dealing with software activity as opposed to real person on phone activity.

In either case, the calls should stop now. I hope.

Just got a call. Didn't recognize so didn't answer. Caller ID showed "Search Engine". Get these types of calls everyday even though on the Do Not Call List. Apparently that list is just as big of a joke as the people behind these types of calls. Telemarketers SUCK!!!

I receive a call daily from this number, sometimes more than one, and each time there is no one talking on the other end. I hear someone is there but no one responds.Today I received three calls in a row without a break in between. My voicemail picks up on the third ring and there was no space between rings. Must be on speed dial.

ID says "google advertising" but they never leave a message -- it's a scam to get your private info.
I use YouMail.com for my cell phone to add any scammer's number (that's called me_ to a "ditched" group so they'll get "number disconnected" recording hereafter.

Call claiming to be a Data Compilier affiliated with Google. Call asks if you want to be listed in google local search press 1. Press 2 if you don't. If you press 2 it just hangs up on you and calls back the next week (been doing this for 3-4 weeks now). As to be some sort of scam to get you to pay to be included in google local search and I doubt Google is really behind the calls.

I have dealt with calls from a "data compiler" from google wanting to sell me the opp. to be on the front page of Google for over six months now.  I have kindly asked to be taken off the call list more than 10 times, after realizing I wasnt getting taken seriously I started getting irate with the guy, still they call daily.  I dont answer, they still call, If I answer and ask for someone in charge to remove my number they have hung up on me, took my info and read it back incorrectly until I start flipping out, and clown at the threat of being reported.  At what point do I have the right to hunt the guy down and allow him to share in my frustration,  this is harassment at its finest and nobody does a thing about it.

This is an automated outgoing message that states they are a data compiler for Google.  They do give you the option to opt out by pressing 2, but when you do, you just a busy signal.  This tells me that this is their way of knowing that a live person answered the phone.

They call me constantly claiming to be the National Do not call Database.

Wouldn't it be neat if registering your number with FTC actually worked?  Nothing works because they spoof their caller ID.  Even if they don't spoof, you can't or don't have the resources to figure out who to report.
The ONLY way I can think of , is to play the "game" with them and keep talking until you get contact info, AND record the WHOLE call.
I'm setting up to start taping ALL of these kinds of calls, and hope to get some of them in trouble.

They have driven me nuts for two years. Wanting me to sign up for Google yellow pages or something like that. I wish they could be shut down for good!

They called about being listed in the Google search directory. I pressed 1 to talk to someone and the phone hung up on me.

robo call.  called and it was a recording saying somthing about a Google affiliate company. They want to confirm your business information, bla bla bla, called them back and low and behold no such number. There spoofing the phone system in order to hide there real number. My favorite thing to do is get a fax number from these people then tell my computer to fax a page of the middle finger  to them 500 - 1500 times. You do it at night so you can just go to sleep. When you look at the computer in the AM it shows they are unable to accept any more pages. hahahahahaha... Take that you....
