They won't stop calling me!!!  Don't know what to do; very annoying!  Even tried Call Block, but they only called from another number!

Getting too old for this crap has it right. I have been harassed for over a year, a YEAR, going on 2 years by these fungii. They use different numbers. I have had the same number for ten years but last year switched carriers, keeping the same number. I have been on the do not call list for years. They always call from different numbers and if you ask for a supervisor or for them to take you off the list, they laugh and hang up. I have filed report after report after report with my carrier, my states attorney general, and the FCC. They all claim they are helpless as these mold are spoofing numbers and calling from call centers in India or Costa Rica although the people all sound like they are from USA. They work from boiler rooms and once your number is on the list that is it, they will keep calling even though you dont answer or it goes to VM. I have started getting to the human who sometimes answers and taking others advice, I scream obcsenities at them, blow an airhorn at them with visions of their headset rattling from the noise, said something vulgar and filthy to them, blown a wistle or whoopee cusion into the phone. The guy I spoke with at FCC told me that is perfectly fine to do that. These callers are trying to steal your identity, or to find out where you live and if you do not have a security system, they will rob your house. You cannot just tell them to stop calling. If you change your number they may find you again. Fight back at their own level. BTW they are the ones breaking the law, not you. If we could ever find these cretins and bring them to justice, not only will they have a lot of 'splainin to do, they can also be fined up to $1500 per call to you. I have started a log of the numbers and times they call me.

I have requested my number be put on this DO NOT CALL list and I am still receiving calls well after the 24 hour period.

See my suggestion posted - but I'd say we need to start complaining directly to our cell providers. They make thousands on us every year and offer very little protection. The Do Not Call List isn't helping. They need a similar internal service where you can report to them and once a number has come up enough as a spammer, they disable their customers phones from receiving the call. Eventually, it would cut down on the activity, at least faster than the DNCL.

I'm guessing this is a "newer" in a long line of numbers that cycle through, calling people randomly. We're all on the Do Not Call List, but that doesn't matter to these flaccid jerks because they're technically in another country, routing their calls via a US telemarketer that is basically not asking what they are doing, so long as they pay to use their telecom availability. So first, they use an auto-dialing system, hence why they magically seem to snag your cell regardless of how many times you've changed numbers. Sometimes there is a person, others not. Either way, it's being dialed by an auto-dialer program to see if the line is life (i.e. the phone number is active). I've personally been called & reported dozens of numbers like this. Essentially, it's the same people phone phishing for personal info. The Do Not Call List is powerless and flimsy legislatively. Might as well call the website, "Spammer Statistics Records Page" where we record every unwanted call for US stats. The local government offices of the city's where the area codes orient from are equally helpless. The FCC just says, "report it to the DNCL." We have, a hundred times. And by the time one number eventually does get snagged, these tools are using a new one. Where the government needs to start hitting is our cell phone providers. I suggested to mine they start pages similar to the Do Not Call Lists, where we report the numbers we're getting, and after they verify enough of their customers are being harassed by a specific number, it be disabled from being received by any of their customers phones. So push that suggestion to your cell provider. Think about it. There are some of us who've had our phones for a while, enough to where if we had them for ~10 years, paying $100 a month, we've given them an average of $12,000, hello, that's equivalent to buying a Neon or a Kia. I would think our phone providers would want to help us, instead of ignore our pleas for assistance. The Do Not Call List isn't cutting it. So take my suggestion and forward it to your cell provider - some charge for blocking, but they should provide an additional service (an actual cost free service) to help limit this level of unwarranted harassment by having a page where we can report a number to be "investigated."

Don't know the number belongs to he or she doesn't leave a voicemail. Whoever this person is called me maybe 50 times in the past 7 months. I don't give out my cell number to anyone but friends and family. I know it's a cell phone. A different number with the same area code called my cell how dumb are these people. If you don't pick up it means leave me alone and leave a message.

503-902-8279 calls several times each and every day and at all hours.  Nobody is ever on the line.  Please make them stop.

I'm sick n tired of this a***ole harassing me on MY CELL phone that COSTS ME money!!!! He has no supervisor that I can complain to and I've told him to STOP all year long!!! How do u get this s*** resolved?????

they have been calling me for the past 3 weeks, 3 times a day.  please help me!

I get the same calls all the time on my home number and my cell.  It is the same guy asking about security systems, which I already have.  I have replied not to keep calling but they do any way.  I was headed up the top of a mountain in the Great Smokies National Park last month when my cell rang and, guess who was calling!  I don't think there is any way to stop these people.  I am newly retired and was shocked at how many people call us every day soliciting this and that.  We are on the do not call registry for every line we have and it makes no difference.

My son's cell phone (also on the do not call list) has been bombarded by this number (6 times in one day).  Their story this time is that they are "Matt" and the company is "Home Security One".  When he quit answering that number, they started in with a new one 425-658-8839.

This stupid number wont stop calling.   Told him repeatedly to stop or I would file charges, and do you think he stopped?  Yeah for 5 minutes before he called again! I am sick and tired of it! He wants to put a home security system in my house! Yeah like I trust that one, right.  I am sick to death of this, and he just wont stop;  I don't know if he is a bot caller or just a creep, but I am to the point of changing my number, even tho I know he will get it again and continue.  Is there any way to make him stop?

I get calls from this number several times a day, several times a week. When I answer no one replys.  Very annoying and then I read it was someone that was a child molester!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I continue to get this same # 503-902-8279 that calls @ least 4 times a day.  It's frustrating and started happening about 6mths ago... STOP CALLING!!

These people call every 15 mins.

i finally got thru to this phone #...auto related states it's a telemarketing call ..and to press 1 to be removed from their call list...that it would be up to 24 hours to remove..let's see if i get any more calls from them.

Son of a B!  I get the exact same call, same ID, exact same number.  Just like everyone else here, no answer, no message.  I thought it was a college, with the USF Id.  I'm in southwest Florida and this has been going on multiple times a week, sometimes per day, for over a year.

Yes, you are correct, the DNC list is a joke.

I keep a whistle (like the beach lifeguard uses). Doesn't stop the calls, but it sure is fun to blow it hard into the phone!!

I received 5 calls today from this number.  each time I sent it to voicemail because I didn't recognize the number.  Then I finally answered the last call and nobody there.  I, too, am on the do not call list

I got a brand new phone with a brand new number.... never called anyone yet and never gave anyone the number yet and right away started to get calls from this number.;.... multi days in a row!!! I just don't answer.....

This is USF Home Security and they do not respect the do not call list.  The phone ID only shows USF and not the number.  People who work for these telemarkers have no life!

Got a call.  No message.  Did not answer.  On do not call list but it uisnt working.

Continuos calls from this number. No one is on the line if you pick up.  And they never leave a message
