Debt Collector
Ignore their calls, and check your credit report. If not on there, don't worry. I worked in collections and there is a Statute of Limitations to how long they can legally pursue for. I received one letter and at the very bottom in fine print it stated "We are beyond the time frame this can be sued" so I chose to ignore them, plus the fact I had never heard of the alleged debt!

Had my identity stolen and now my friends and family are getting these calls, hadn't had any for a few months and they started again this morning. Filed complaint with everyone and still are getting them. Even when my family and friends tell them to stop calling they don't

Repeated phone calls at my home number.  I don't answer, and they never leave a message.  Why don't the no-call lists work?

I have also been getting calls.  I actually spoke to someone and he was one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with.  I am filing a complaint with the AIG, DOJ and the Federal Trade Commission.  I am disabled and have been dealing with these low lives for three years, filing complaints, and pursuing the ones that are operating against the law.  I am considering getting an attorney to sue them.  These agencies are very misleading, and often assign other account numbers to the file and then the consumer thinks it is another account.  I have paid three accounts to 5 different agencies and it has been over paid many times.  I am now pursuing legally to pursue these agencies.  The attorney general and the department of justice and the federal trade commission does like these companies when then operate against the law.  research the fair debt collection practices from the federal trade commission..this will help you.  this agency does not tell you who they are, and they give different names.  don't let them intimidate you.

Bill Collector. I answered it and it played a recorded message saying your case has been escalated they will take final action if you dont contact them. It said the company name in that computer voice but i couldnt under stand it. It sounded like acs? When i called them back i was placed on hold, given an estimated wait time, and after 15 minutes was sent to a voice mail box. It never said the company name when i called.

I get calls every three hours from this number. No messages are left, and no one is on the line if I answer. I guess this is what call blocking is for!
