They are a law firm who handles debt collection accounts. If you are not the person attached to the phone number, you need to let them know that because if you don't they will take the next step assuming you are and have the address served with lawsuit papers if it is associated with the phone number. Their main office is located in New Orleans on Poydras and they also have other offices out of state.

To find out who they are is not easy. The message says
, if you are not "Noel Lee", please hang up. otherwise we confirm you are him. They do not allow a recourse if you are not. You have to research the number, which may cost you to ID them. I think we may need to investigate a proper recourse for the harassment and time spent for having to deal with this inept firm!

It's better to go to www.ftc.gov and file a complaint against them immediately. You do not have to call them back. They are breaking the law by contacting you. it is not your burden as an American Citizen to prove you have nothing to do with the debt in question. If more people would start reporting these companies the practice of harassment would stop.
I am at this moment filing a complaint against them. It is a "Law" firm in Metarie, Louisiana. The name that i could make out from the voicemail was Couch, Condo, & Blake Law firm.
The other number associated with them is 866-282-3853 and comes back as a Couch, Christopher J.

I have been receiving calls from this number for about 2 months, they say and name and say if you are not this person hang up..which I do, because I am NOT the person they are asking for but they continue to call 2 and 3 times a day. GRRRRRR!!!

It's a law firm/collector. Call them and let them know you are not that person and they will take you off the list. Otherwise, they will assume you are the person (avoiding their calls) and keep calling to get their money.
