DONT BOTHER TRYING TO USE THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST...I HVE HAD MORE CALLS SINCE LISTING MY NUMBER WITH THEM AND THE CALLS KEEP COMMING IT DOESNT WORK !!! ROGERS WONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT  IF YOU CALL A LONG DISTANCE NUMBER AND THEY DONT SEAM TO CARE THAT SOMEONE IS SPOOFING THERE NUMBERS .I HAVE AN UNLISTED NUMBER AND THEY STILL GET THROUGHT

Ditto for me just now.  I am a Rogers corporate customer.  I let it go to voicemail but none was left.  

This one seems to still be making the rounds.  Telus and Rogers should have the ability to block this crap.  They are obvoiusly taking advantage of a list of numbers these providers have registered.

I got a call from this number, but I didn't answer it. It tried calling it back from my cell phone and it says, in both English and Spanish, that the number I have dialed isn't a working number.

damn it i picked up, but didn't press 1 before i hung up. if i see this guy face to face i am gonna murder him.

In the Vancouver area and just got this call. Google search quickly brought up this site. If I don't recognize the area code I usually don't answer. Hope someone gets a hold of these losers.

Got a call on my cell from +5052419988. Mexico??? An automated message was saying that I won a prize only for Rogers customers. Asked me to press 1 to claim it. When I pressed 1 a lady asked me in English for my credit card. I told her I'm not giving it to her and she hung up.

Got this call 5 mins back with the same message saying "Congratulations on winning a prize. This is only for Rogers customers.press 1 to claim your prize. I hung up. I'm with Rogers too.

Same thing, got a call twice in the last two days but have not answered.  Area code is from New Mexico.

whats the point of a do not call list if that list can be used to make more anoying calls than before the list was created?

Same as the last few posts. I'm in New Brunswick currently but am a Halifax Rogers customer. Received a few similar calls before and Rogers will do nothing to stop them unfortunately. I hate these people.

I just got home from class and had a missed call from this number. I am a Halifax rodgers customers but I am out in Victoria, B.C.

I just got a call today from this number and I missed the call so when I called back I got a message saying that the mail box was full, I'm with "Rogers" and live in Halifax.

Rogers cell in Nova Scotia. Odd. The last three comments are all rogers users. Makes you wonder how exactly this company got the number to begin with.

I've had 3 spam phone calls today, they seem to go in waves. I'll have a bunch then nothing for a couple weeks.

i'm in toronto, and got a call from this number on my rogers' cell today, too...didn't answer it, and they didn't leave a message...PUNKS! :P

Yep.  Cash Register and all.  This time call came from Tacoma Washington.  I'm not sure (according to a privious post) that they can charge your cell phone when you pick up.  Again, I'm not sure, but I would think that would be only if you called the number back.  

I don't speak Spanish, but I know some latin.  I know Caveat Emptor (buyer beware!)  Whatever these guys are selling, I'm not buying.

Had a missed call from this number this afternoon.  I'm from Chicago, living in DC....  no message was left.  Glad I looked it up and found this page.  Definitely not the guy from the bar this weekend I was hoping it was!  hahahaha.

Just got a call from this number too!  I didn't pick up, and no voicemail was left.

Also I should note that they called one time at 12:14 AM!  I'm in FL.

I installed Magic Jack on 3/10/09 as a second phone line for my kids.  By 3/11/09, I started receiving calls from 505-241-9988 so I googled it and found everyone posting the number.  I don't have voicemail setup so that's all I'm getting...... a lot of calls from the number and obviously, hangups.  I did hear that Magic Jack makes up it's cheap rate by allowing advertisers to contact users according to the numbers they call.  This number is brand new to us.

There was talk of a scam where they call you and then when you call back they charge you some crazy rate. I would never call back a number that you had on the incoming side. The incoming is protected but when you dial a number from home or your cell and they have some foreign charge service set up, then you can be held for the charges.

Called my number at around 12 o'oclock on March 11, 2009.

Got this call on my Telus cellphone and when I answered a message said I had one a prize that was for Telus customers only. Press 1 to claim my prize. So I pressed one and a woman came on and asked if I wanted to hear about the vacation prize I had won.  I said "No! And take me off your phone list" and hung up.

I just got the call as well on my cell.

Got a call on my mobile phone from 505-241-9988 but was not available to answer it when it came in. I did not recognize it so looked up area code 505 and found it was New Mexico. I don't know anyone in New Mexico so I did a search on the number and got this site.

Just got a call on my blackberry, when I called back the message said "the number you dialed is not a working number, please check and dial again.

Call to my cell and didn't answer. No message though. Ain't calling back thanks everyones feedback.
