I am the Deborah in your comments.  This was a fax number I had a decade ago.  I really am doing everything I can think of to stop this from happening - if you have constructive ideas about what I can do, send them to nmrecovery@gmail.com. Sending me threats and tirades only wastes your energy and mine.

Please know that this whole thing has become a real nightmare for me. . . .

This company has left a couple messages on my cell (Nextel) and yesterday I happened to pickup. I politely asked the person calling to please quit spamming my cell. I also told him I've never even had a car under warranty, ever. Dude just hung up on me.

Have been getting the call 1-2x/wk for about a month.  Houston, TX.  We own older cars with no warranties. So its a scam somehow.

Got a call on my cell phone today, which I just let ring without answering.  Very few people have that number, and I have no idea how these scam artists (?) got it.  Given how cheap phone service is these days (relatively speaking), could they just be "cold calling" down a list of numbers?  On the other hand, someone upthread said the caller actually had information on his car, so maybe it's more targeted market calling.  Hmmm...

I didn't answer the call, because I didn't know who it was. It was on my cell phone too. I thought telemarketers were not supposed to call your cell phone.

Got a call from this number (and several others, but all from the same company) to an unlisted disposable cell.  The company I purchase the phone from doesn't even know who I am.  Do not get calls from this number on my land line or any other phone, so I am guessing it is the cell company that is selling the numbers.

This is definitely a scam.  I haven't owned a car in over a year, and haven't owned one that would qualify for a warranty in about 7 years.  And yet they still call.

Auto Solutions was given as the name of the company that called me on my cell phone from 505-753-6045 for the first time.  The call began as a recording; but as instructed, I pressed "1" to talk to someone.  I explained that we no longer own the car in question so we won't be purchasing a warranty.  The lady said she would take my number off the company's call list.  Everyday since then I have received recorded calls from a series of different 702 numbers.  I have learned not to answer my cell phone when I see unfamiliar numbers on the ID.  Today I registered my cell number online with the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTER.  After 30 days, I will be able to file an official complaint.

They've called me like 3 times in the last two weeks, but they have different numbers sometimes. The most recent one was from vermont. I tried picking up once, a few months ago when the same guys called. The first thing they did was ask me for the make and model of my vehicle, so it was immediately obvious it was a scam. Isn't this a form a fraud?

It is a nationwide scam....They call everyone relentlessly...I am in KY...everyone I knows gets these callsa dozen times a day.
If you talk with a person on there...they will just hang up on you if you tell them you don't have a car. I have tried the take me off the list option...I think it made it worse.

Another website said that maybe...they were not interested in anyone answering the phone when they called...just hoped you would miss the call and hear on answering machine that your warranty was about to expire and call them back...and this would result in getting outrageous oversees "telesleaze" bills disguised as USA numbers.

My parents keep getting the call as well. My mothers cell is a company phone and my fathers is for his business. We live in Ontario, Canada, so they must be doing this in North America for some reason.

got a call from 505-753-6045 at 8:51pm and did not answer it.  noticed a previous comment about answering the call and somebody saying: "that it is the "second warning" that my cars' factory warranty is going to expire. Calls won't stop, ever." and that strikes me as odd since i just saw a notice come in the mail saying the same thing.  The call came in on my company wireless phone which is an unpublished number. the only parties outside of the ones i deal with for work that have this number is my auto and life insurance company, State Farm insurance who i gave it to in order to contact me about an accident i was involved in. I would hate to think they sell their database of numbers to scum cold calling telemarketers.

me too. 9:40am June 12, i'm in Santa Clara county, too, so maybe this shows the pattern of them blanketing the area.  I was already pressing the "hang up" button when I heard the beginning of "To be removed---" but didn't get to hear what it would take.  I'm certain these have nothing to do with car warranty.

5th or 6th call from thes guys. I pressed The #2 to be taken off the so called list a few months ago. Still they call. this has been going on since October 2007. I am going to file a complaint with the FCC today. this is also a work # that belonged to former employee that is no longer with the company. He bought a new car a few years ago. I would think that there is a link to it.

Same as everyone else. I got a notice in the mail telling me it was my last chance to renew my car warranty. I called the 800 number on the letter and they did have all of my vehicle information. I told them that I would have to check my finances before I considered it. I was told it was a one-time offer and the person disconnected. Yet, they've called repeatedly since that call.
