Got a call from this number. Don't know anyone with this number, so I didn't answer.  After reading the above comments, immediately blocked the number.  So much for the "DO NOT CALL" list.

This number called and said they could lower my high credit card interest rates.  Asked for the phone number on the back of the card to call the credit card company on three way.  Then asked for the card number when I said that doesn't sound right and I don't feel comfortable he went into a long speal about how it was safe and nothing would happen.  I demanded a number to call him back at so I could look it up and he put me on hold... forever... and I hung up.

I actually went through finding out about this, and its not necessarily a scam. It's a company called Invisidebt Solutions that essentially goes through a process of negotiations with financial institutions (banks and lenders) for lowering interest and/or debt consolidation for you, they figure out the total you'd save and offer you the service for a fee. While that may sound like a "scam" to anyone that gets one of these calls that thought someone would just be at the other end stealing my info or something, that's not what it is. They are an actual business and do this stuff as any other debt consolidation, I just wouldn't say I'd bother taking their fee and calculating out the savings, etc.

Just wanted to clarify this as most people seemed to just post they got a call from the number and hung up figuring it was a scam. While I guess that depends on your definition of "scam" it appears that it is a company and business that does (or attempts to do) what they say.

Not sure why many people who receive these calls answer and then get hung up on, unless they're telling someone at least something or choosing to decline any offers.

Got a call this morning from this number, didn't answer because i didn't recognize the number, goggled it, ended up here, thanks to this post I will be blocking this number so I am no longer bothered.

Number showed up on my cell. They didn't leave a message. When I called back ; it was " not a working number". Scammer!!

I was on the phone with someone when this call came in. I answered it, thinking it was someone else. I am not sure if this is related, but for the first time tonight, my phone started to crash and reboot itself. Not happy, and not sure if you can hack a smart phone simply by calling it. I got a call from this number as well. I didn't answer and no message was left. Strange how this all seems to have happened within the past day or so!

Curiosity got the better of me & I tried calling back - got recording that the number had been disconnected.  Very interesting.

I got a call from this number and no reply when I answered. I was concerned at first since this was from my home town - thought it might be family problem.  Looks like telemarketing has gone to small town America now.

I received this call on my Cell (at work)  pressed #1 to get my name removed from their calling list and explain I am registered on the Do Not Call List.    The dude hung up on me.... really.

I received another  call from this number. I did not recognize the number so I did not answer. They left no message. Another website traced the number to a landline from Mountain Lake, MN. Another website had other people reporting a telemarketing call about credit card offers. Be warned! The woman who reported this did not own a credit card so I think this is likely a scam of sorts, possibly even identity theft!  I also received a call from this # ( again ) but this time I answered it and was prompted to 1 for a live person
