Got a call today from a 508-283-3266 stating about my arrest for a loan that I never had for $500.00. Did some research on line and after calling them back and asking them for info they hung up on me. Name used was Neil Johnson with a foreign accent. I kept calling them back and they kept hanging up. They use the name Oak View Law Group from Mass.  They had my address so be careful what you put on line. I looked into those pay day loans and I guess they got a hold of some of my personal info. I will never use those type of loans again. This is a scam, so insteaqd of them annoying me I have made it my business to annoy them.

These people call me sometimes once every so often then they'll call me 5 times in an hours. At first it was a man, today it was a woman. Left me 2 voicemails. I have previously contacted my local PD and the officer told me that the only real way to get these b*****ds to stop is to change your number. Blockin doesn't work and obviously putting you number on the 'Do Not Call' list doesn't help. Change your number and don't give it out to any that you don't know. And these b*****ds have multiple numbers, so don't answer anything you don't know.

I have been getting calls from this number for a couple of weeks now from this man claiming to be PATRICK BROWN from "THE LAW FIRM OF INVESTIGATION" that sounded wrong right off the bat. we all know law firms have real names its not just "the law firm of investigation" every law firm is investigating something DUHHHH! this man has a very thick accent maybe middle eastern and there is always very loud noise in the background. So today i decided to call this number back and see if this person answers, since the number is supposedly his "direct line" but no, another person answers and gives me some ultra generic name, and starts spitting out information about a law suit and investigation and lawyer and loans and all this mess that i know nothing about. ALSO I THOUGHT I COULD HEAR THE PATRICK BROWN MAN IN THE BACKGROUND LEAVING THE SAME SCRIPTED MESSAGE ON ANOTHER PERSONS PHONE. they all sound very rehearsed and unreal and im not falling it. PLUS IF THIS WAS AN ISSUE WITH MY STATE WHY WOULD SOMEONE WAAAAAAAY IN MASSACHUSETTS BE CALLING ME TO HANDLE A ISSUE WITH A STATE NO WHERE NEAR MASS. I DONT CARE WHAT THEY CLAIM THEY ARE GONNA DO, UNLESS SOMEONE SHOWS UP AT MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT OR HOME, THEY CAN GO KICK ROCKS! THEN DUDE GONE TELL ME TO "TELL MY STORY IN COURT! LMAO STFU LOSER!

File a complaint with the attorney general office in your state. They will help!

Darlin don't be scared get angry. Play their game with them. When they say you owe money ask how much and give them a phone bank card like I did. It was so funny I cry everytime I tell the story. I was speaking to so called Sean Stifler. He go so mad at me as I gave him bogus numbers 1st from a master card then from a visa he said you told me master card I said no I didn't I said visa, he called me a Mother F****r and said I gave him wrong numbers. Trust me it will give you a sense of peace and revenge. I then kept their number and im going right now to call Sean Stifler and tell him there is a loan out that he owes.

These jerks called me today, I had already googled the number so I knew it was a scam, I allowed them to do their pitch. I then said ok I will settle because I don't want to go to court. I 1st gave him a mastercard number - he ran the number and stated it was not valid, I said really, I just got that card. I then gave him numbers starting with a 4 he said wait hold up-you told me you were using a master card - I said no I didn't I said visa - said no no you said master card- I begin to laugh - he called me a Mother F****r and said you gave me wrong info- I could not stop laughing and fall to peices everytime I tell someone what I did. I gave those scamming b*****ds a peice of their own medicine. His name Was Sena Stifler and the company name was Oak View Legal Group and he gave me a fax# of 508-438-9824 to fax over a letter I was to write stating that I will settle this matter. Such losers- I pray people are up on this scam.

Yes they called me not to long ago about owing them money and that i need to pay them. I so sick of them i don't know what to do. They call my job but im going to tell the secretary to tell them i know longer work there anymore. I hope they are caught one day cause it is getting out of hand. Im not going to pay them anything cause i kniw i dont owe them.

They just called me told me the same thing, I called the police and they told me if they call again tell them I have notified the police.  This site helped now i know Im not crazy I do not owe any Cash Advance any money.

This is a scam & these people are serious in how much they mean to harass you and scare you into providing information. It sounds as if they're calling from a call center in India, or somewhere where this similar type of accent is present -- but they always use suspiciously American sounding names like Neil, Shawn, Allen, etc.  They call repeatedly (within minutes) to home, work, mobile numbers. They tell you the last four digits of your social, that they are filing papers in court this same day unless you send them money, that you will be arrested, etc. They will give you a specific amount of money to send. They will not say their location, or verify an address. They will not provide an account number, as someone would do if this was a legitimate debt, or the date an account was opened. They seek to humiliate and scare you into providing information -- particularly by calling you at work and threatening these actions while you are working (arrest, etc). I highly doubt that if someone did pay them, they wouldn't just call from a different number months later, demand money again, and keep harassing.  Please do not give them information, and please, take the time to be diligent and report the numbers to the FCC, the FBI, or the FTC. There are literally pages and pages of entries about these guys and their scams on the internet.

PLEASE REPORT IMMEDIATELY ANY AND ALL FRAUD CALLS TO YOUR LOCAL FBI.  DO NOT PAY ANYTHING***  REPORT IT AND KEEP YOURSELF GUARDED AGAINST FURTHER FRAUD.  I REPORTED IT TO MY LOCAL FBI AND THEY HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL

I have also been getting a call from the same people. It is always a man with a heavy Indian accent and he says that there is a case file and an investigation has been placed under my SS#. I applied for a loan in Jan. I paid it fully off and they called me the day i paid my payment and said that i owe more money. They said that they would send police to my work if I did not pay them. Then the man put me on hold and pretended to speak with an officer and said "yes officer i have her on the other line. If she will comply then we will not need your services. then he hung up with the fake officer and said. "Mam we have asked the police officer to stand down for the moment. How will you be making your payment?" I told the man i have already paid and i will not pay anymore. I asked to speak with a sup and he hung up on me. I then called back gave them my name and the supervisor hung up on me. I has been a few months and I am starting to get the calls again. But this time it is worse. They call my work almost every hour. I have alerted my own supervisor about the situation and they are happy to help me. DO NOT PAY ANYTHING. IT IS A SCAM!!!

I have received the same messages as everyone above. I contact my lawyer and she told me don't give any information to these people. She advise I do a number search and this is what a got all the above comments which are the same messages the I'm getting. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!! they are a scam. The person that call me always chages his name and number but has the same accent, this time his name was Harry Clark. I'm following my attorney advise and complete am going to ignore these idiots. Please do the same don't fall for it.

I received a call from a law firm claiming I owed money and were pursuing a law suit from a Payday Loan store   Cash Advance America -  They provided a case number and stated I would be served papers. Only trouble is that I have not taken out any payday loans and have no collections.  They had no foreign accent and stated they were calling from Oak View Law Firm in Mass.   Ron Harty

I received. Calls and calls from these people. This Guy has called my work and my cell saying his name is Richard. Clark. They have all my information. And say that my ss# is being sued. For 309.72 dollars because I defaulted. On a pay day loan. When I ask for them to serve me or mail me something. They get mad and will not do it. They say they want my attourneys information. . I obviously. Know its a scam but its very disturbing. To know they have all.my information.  Even scarier is wondering. How they obtained this information.  I am going to call the Dept. Of homeland. Security and see if they can help me. But I think the best thing to do with these. People is to just ignore them and get the phone. Number. Blocked ....

Keep getting these so-called collection calls. Saying I'd took a cash advance from a payday loan.  They aren't providing any information and claim I owe 7K on a dafault 500 payday loan.  Who can I report this number too and stop harrassing calls.

i have had these same calls. They stopped for a while then started again recently-The best thing anyone can do is block the numbers on your cell. And when they call your work tell them that person no longer works here. That usually gets them to stop.

recieved multiple phone calls from this number with the person claiming her name is mary smith with a very strong accent. these people must be complete idiots to continue this scam. i have been getting phone calls off and on for months from them at different # and with different names but the same message same accent. they claim i am being criminally investigated and i will suffer consequences if i dont call them back. i never call back anymore. i have threatened them, called the state attorney generals office, called federal trade commision. nothing works so i just ignore them,

I ALSO HAVE BEEN GETTING CALLS FROM A PERSON OF INDIAN PAKISTINIAN ACCENT THREATENING ME TO GIVE A CALL BACK. THE LAST TIME THEY CALL WAS 2 MONTH AGO,NOW IT IS STARTING AGAIN. THEY STATED THAT I NEED A LAWYER AND THAT THEY HAVE A CASE AGAINST MY NAME AND SOCIAL SECURITY. AND IF I DON'T RETURN HIS CALL THEY WILL TAKE ACTION. BE AWARE OF THE SCAMS DON'T GIVE ANY INFO. I TOLD THEM THAT I HAVE HIS NUMBER TO TURN IN TO THE POLICE TO INVESTIGATE.

I have been getting phone calls from this number everyday... he demands that I speak with him. I dont know who to call about this but it needs to stop.

Today I received a phone call at work from a woman with an indian accent stating her name is Michelle Williams from the Department of Law stating there is a complaint and an investigation on my social security number and she wanted me to give her my attorney name and number. I said okay and hung up. She then called my cell and left the same voicemail and this is not the first time I have received calls like this one. I am really getting fed up. It upsets me at work. I have called the State Attorney General and made a complaint. I also placed my number on the do not call registry. I also called Land Home Security and they said they are all scams and i will be getting a call from an investigator. I just want them to leave me alone. I'm afraid i will lose my job because of them.

whatever you do, dont give them any money they have been trying to do this to us for the past year and if you fall for it they will continue to call you and want more money we were stupid and did it once then they tried to do it again I got in touch with the police and investigator and its a big SCAM tell them to go pound sand and tell you employer the situation... trust me if its lig. they will give you information about everything and send you papers in the mail they will not come and get you they are just trying to play you for everything you have and its scary but they probally have all ur personal info trust me we havent responded to these jerks and they stopped calling now they are calling again so I know its scary and frustrating but its just a huge SCAM
