Called this morning at 10:28 am. It was a machine about a vehicle warrenty. They keep calling. I talked with someone once upon a time, said "not interrested" they don't get it.

I received a call from this number today 7/3/08.  I did call back (after using *67 to block my number) and could barely hear the recording but it had something to do with working for charities (allegedly).  The caller ID said "Sunrocket did".  Do not call back any unknown number unless you block your line!  Do not dial any number they suggest or look at any website they suggest!  If you have COMCAST digital voice, dial *60 to set up a block on this (and other) annoying phone call.  You can block up to 12 calls, and also block anoynmous calls, too. They will just get a recording saying you are not accepting calls. Please be careful of this and other unknown numbers - there are many scams going on.

despite the FTC having the national do not call list, and laws on
the books....the federal goverment does nothing to stop these kind
of calls.   Millions of complaints have been filed for DNC violations,
less then 10 have been acted on.

Why do these companies call and call, despite being told to stop.....their
employees don't seem to care, after all they are getting paid to sit there
even if they make no sales.

If you want to be part of the solution.....email or write your Congressman
and demand that they do something about these companies.   We pay plenty
of federal taxes on our phone service (often as much as 25-30% of your bill),
Congress could put these scum companies out of business.....they choose not
to do anything

THIS IS A BUSINESS PHONE NUMBER.  DURING THE WEEK OF 1/15/08 I GOT 3 CALLS FROM THEM AND EACH TIME I PRESSED 2 TO BE REMOVED AND EVEN TALKED WITH SOMEONE THE LAST TIME.  IT IS 1/21/08 AND I GOT ANOTHER CALL TODAY AT 3:49.

i just filed e-complaints w/ the PA Atty Gen (where I live) & the central New England BBB.  They just called me a 1/2 hr ago.  The area code is worcester ma.  see the complaint below, i was in a hurry - so lc & typos:
this gift ctr/private has called my house numerouse times since the fall concerning 'my vehicle ext warranty'.  i do not have 1.  today they called, an auto amessage failed to id the co.  it seemed very suscipious, so i wanted to speak w/ someone.  the male customer service agent was extremely rude & tried to railroad me.  i wanted to state my complaint & be done w/ it, w/o answering questions as to where do i reside.  he raised his voice & i told him that was unacceptable.  he then claimed i needed to show some respect when i asked, repeatedly for a supervisor, & a acted as though he was going to end the call.  instead i was on 'hold' but when i hung up, i could not dial out because i was on hold.  i believe the same agent clicked through a couple of minutes later w/ another male; they were laughing & it was stated something like, "how would you like to bang her?" i was on 'hold' for a couple of more mins.  i had to pull the cable cord from my modem, but the co was still on the other line & not allowing the call to end un less i pressed an option to leave a message.  finally i turned off my modem & then the call was dropped.  sorry for the typos, i am in a hurry to get this to you.  this incident happened apprx 2:40ish 1/21/07.  this co has called me many times as well, prior.

Have recieved at least one call 3-4 days a week for the past two weeks. They never leave a message.

I hope the party involved with this harassment is dealt with swift justice. I think organizations we report this to should view the complaints on this web site so they can take action.

Called this morning, and of course, my husband answered the phone and it was the automated message about vehicle warranty.  I called the insurance company, and they have nothing to do with this call.  I called the number back and it didn't even ring or pick up...

they call about 5 times a day on vehicle warrenty, i have answered one time told them NO THANKS and to STOP calling, the number now comes up on my caller ID as Gift Center, i dont answer anymore, but they are blowing up my caller id daily

Caller asked for me, telling about my vehicle about to expire and should renew it. Gave me options of talking with someone or having name removed from list. Waited, someone tells me that she is pregnant and I am the father and lives down the street from me. I said this is a prank call and do not call this number again. I then hung up.

I noticed this number via caller ID while I was in the process of deleting numbers from memory.
I looked it up via google search and located this site.
My experiance on these type calls if indeed it is a machine,you can key in the pound sign # six times and it causes the machine to be confused and drops the number from furture calling.
This only works if you know for sure the number is from a machine and do Not speak,just start keying in away at the pound sign #.
I usually key in the # sign so many times I lose count then listen without speaking and then start keying in the star sign * listen again and hear a recorded operater saying this call can not be completed,please hang up and try again.
I've used this proceedure on another number from Florida concerning sales of automobiles and have not recieved a return call from that number.

How do we report this?  How did they get my number?

This number is from a group involved in organised harrassment of targeted individuals. They have also called me a number of times. There are now laws about cyber-bullying including technology such as cell phones and land line harrassment. Report IT!

got frustrated and found this web site--they just keep calling.....maybe we could all take turns calling them? Tie up their phone? HA

I've had 3 calls from these people in the past week. Fortunately it's going to my fax. Unfortunately I've had to turn the ringer off due to the annoyance.

they told me that i had won a car when i had asked for their number they hung up almost immeidately

i returned the call back to the number i got on my caller id display and they said i am now removed from their calling list? they also gave me the website for the do not call list. it was just a machine recording and no other identification, i don't even know what calling list i was removed from

They call every, 2-5 times a day.  Sometimes there is a recorded message about my vehicle warranty about to expire (do NOT have any such warranty), other times they hang up.....frustrating.

OK, I just called and it DID ring...  and a recording stating that you can go to www.donotcall.gov to put your phone number in so they DON'T CALL and that they scan it weekly to remove phone numbers from their list and at the end of the call, says your phone number is removed from the list.
