megan--- get a address n record the calls next time in furture.. he can sue n milk these guys... i work for a collection attorney n i kno this is bogus..  a real attonrey wouldnt sue on these loans due to retaining legal council in different states.. plus filing the suit in that county.. 5 states dont have garnishment.. so if its rly not a high sum they wont process anything...  thats jsut way to much time n work plus money for a lawyer to even care... they would rather it be settled out of court then in court.. think a bout it.. get me that addy too cause they are calling me..

Theses people that call have a very deep accent and hard to understand and they state that my lawyer needs to contact them or else. Well they are scammers and I had them at work tell them that I had died and it worked for about 5 months. Guess they must of sold my name off to another list of scammers cause now they are back.

they called me and stated that i owe a payday loan and i told them i have never gotten a loan from this company and i asked for a phone number and he stated he could not give his employers number out that he was representing them and they will serve papers at my job.  i had to go back and check my bank statements to see if that was true and it was not so this is really pissing me off.

They called me with the same thing and said I would be reciving papers at work and will see me in court. Has anyone else had problems with them and what was results.

I got the same message! They have my social security number and that makes me very nervous.

i had a call today from a man that i had a hard time understanding. he is demanding payment for over $420 because he says, I now have a criminal record.  I am so nervous, and he also called me at work. What do I do?  This is from a 510 area code. He said his name is Perry Black.  Please respond asap, anyone please.

This Perry Black called early at 7 AM and apparently he also called my work. He said I need to pay over $420 today, because in his words, I have commited a crime.  I am so nervous and don't know what to do.

Please help.  Also, he didn't state what company he was calling me from, and when I asked who the lender was, he said he didn't have it and that it was all in the California Courts.

What do I do??

Guess what, later today, I received a call from someone else, I let it go to voicemail, and it was the same story from the earlier guy.  I traced the call, and now they are calling from New York.  These people are so hard to understand, but yet their names are so american.

they called me at work and said i have to be in the courthouse monday morning. they said i have to have a lawyer and wanting me to verify a social security number. dont do it   they called again at 5 am with the same thing when i told them it was a scam they hung up

rhonda....its a scam don't do anything,,,don't give them any info no bank info and ask them to validate the loan...the law says if the low life debt collection company says that if they don't validate then the debt is invalid...

he called again this morning from a different phone number and left me a message.  Of course, I didn't answer.  I just feel like telling him a few things.  He called more than 10-times.  Amazing!!!

I got 4 messages from a guy name Perry cooper. Yesterday it was from someone different. These people are annoying. They need to be stopped. I save my voicemails for as long as I can.

I received a message on Friday. You are right, I could not understand anything. This man never stated what company he was with, I think he did say his name was Perry? He told me to "do not disregard this message, it is extremely time sensitive!" He then said something like if he does not hear from me I would be in trouble and good luck.? What the he**?
Is it tooo much to ask for a person who speaks clearly. Im just saying. Would love to know if it is real or scam.

These phone calls are scams. Please report these people to the Federal Trade Commission. When I mentioned I filed a complaint the people became VERY ANGRY!!! I recieved another call from a supervisor and I informed him of the complaint, and the fact that they were calling a number that was a "work phone". I told him I was legally entitlted to recieve no further phone calls. I demanded a business name and fax number to send a 'cease and desist" letter. I never recieved a company name or fax number. I filed 2 complaints with the goverment and I've recieved no more calls. PLEASE FILE A COMPLAINT AND STOP THESE PEOPLE!!!!

I received the same call as well. I did get a payday loan months ago but that was paid off. This man is trying to tell me the another deposited funds into my account and when they tried to collect it was returned insufficient. I don't think so! I would know if I was charged an overdraft fee! He went on and on that I was going to be sued. I was going to lose my job. The choice was all mine. He would not give me any information. Whom was suing me. When this so-called deposit went into my account. Nothing. What bothers me most of all is the fact he had all my information. My social, name, place of employment. They even went as far as to contact me at work. That was both upsetting and embarrassing. So I contacted FTC and reported the number.

Same number called me, and ive had calls like this in the past. Same information, when you tell them to stop calling, or ask them to validate, they becoming angry, abusive and swear at you and threaten you. it is ILLEGAL for them to say you will be served any kind of court order or threaten you with legal proceedings when theres no proof of anything period.  they are total scam artists and until someone shuts them completely down im afraid the harrassment will continue.

If the authorities do not do something about these filthy disgusting goat humping non-American phone scammers,. H I will find out where they are and take matters into my own hands. They have called my wife at work. They have called my home, and they have personal information of mine. What country do we live in that we allow these smelly, filthy, dirty foreigners do do this to us. I apologize for the nasty, harsh, steriotype insults. However, this is what it is and I will spend every waking moment of my time to see that these animals are stopped.

I received a call from a woman who called herself Michelle Parker.  I could understand only a few words here and there, even after asking her to repeat herself several times.  The more frustrated I became with not being able to understand her, the more agressive she became with me.  I still couldn't understand what she was saying.  She could speak her name, my name (barely), and I got something about a lawsuit, her being from California, something about a legal department, and that was about it.  I told her to have someone call back who could speak to me more clearly, and she just went on and on.  I hung up on her.  After all, she'd called me on my job phone.  She immediately called back, and after I answered, she yelled at me, "DO NOT HANG UP ON ME!!!!!"  I was absolutely shocked!!!!  But, recognizing that no legitimate company, especially one that would know anything about "legal matters" would never train or allow their agents to speak to people in that way...so I talked over her jabbering and stated that I did not know who she was, but that she needed to stop calling at this number because she was calling a business.  I hung up on her once again.  She literally called back 3 more times back to back.  All I could do was pick up the receiver and hang it back up.  I haven't found any new information on who they are, or who they can be reported to, but if you're having this group contact you, I would suggest that you check back at this website as people are gathering together on this.  This site is a great source of information if everyone is willing to share what they do know about these groups and practices.  I should have mentioned that I do have pay day loans, but they are all current and the people whom I work with on these debts are always kind and professional.  This company calling is obviously obtaining personal information through the payday loan groups.  Call the pay day loan company or companies that you have loans from.  Let them know...it could be that their websites are not secure.  Whatever the case, take some action, whatever you can do, do it now.  It's time that we take control.

I have been receiving calls for months from this number from a "Mark Adams" which clearly isn't his real name. He's the only one calling me but I'm pretty sure he's given me other names in the past too. He just called my work 5 times (and the receptionist came to talk to me about it). I have told him REPEATEDLY I do NOT owe whatever loan company any money and to stop calling me. This is pure harassment at this point.  Anyone have luck with blocking them besides changing your phone number? And yes, having my personal info (ss#, phone numbers, address, bank account) is not giving me a warm, fuzzy feeling!

Yes, I recieved a call stating that if i did not pay, they would come to my job and arrest me, Owe!!!! for what I never recieved any money.  The scary part is that they had my personal information. Who are this people??????
