John from Medical Alert warehouse;  states he has a prepaid alert setup that you ordered and needs information.  Of course, we have ordered nothing.  John also uses these numbers:  805-408-4238, 702-705-7302, 919-218-1674, 702-705-7354, each time I block a number he calls on a new number.  One number had the name of Ventura Central.  

Got a call today, but mine was a little different. The answering machine answered and someone left a message that they were "trying to schedule delivery of your medic alert system". Of course no one in my house ordered a medic alert system. How stupid do these people think we are?

Received a call 1:39 PM, 12/17/13  when I answered nobody said anything on the other end and hung up.

This is a very frequent caller. He always pretends that someone has ordered a medical alert device....just hang up, but it IS very annoying. I'm on a Do Not Call list but this one is obviously getting around that.

I have gotten calls from this idiot numerous times..it's definitely a scam or scum...since it's a robocalls I don't know how one can stop it . He needs to be locked up..

When I run out of blocked call spaces, I take the oldest blocked call off & add the latest new one.  The logic is, if the blocked call is on for 6 months or longer that they will not call again from that number.  That's my current way of dealing with this issue.
I also log the numbers I took off to see if they show up later.  Good luck!

Got a call last night at about 8:45.  No one answered,  Just received a call from the same number about 10:40.  Again no one answered.    I am on the do not call list. Guess that one is not working.  

They did not leave a message and hung up.

Medical Alert Scam

I've gotten two calls from "Richard in shipping" just needing some info to send out the medic alert that has already been purchased.  What a crock.  Can't someone use this phone number to just go to whoever is on the other end of this call and either arrest them or beat the crap out of them?

This Medical Alert scam has called from: 510-604-1559, plus 212-539-4372, 213-710-8660, 262-292-4936, 314-666-8509, 347-200-3682, 702-705-7329, 925-221-2319.

The caller ID says various things: New York, Alert, KAE, Brooklyn, CTY, Oakland CA.

I never answer the phone, but I do log their calls. When the same number calls multiple times, I block it. But I've run out of blocking slots.

I got a call few min back. He asks you to press1 if you accept the shipping and press 5 to decline.

This is the medical alert scam. I have done everything imaginable to get them to leave me alone. The biggest problem I have is they have called me from 15 or so different numbers over the last year.

Got several callable from this number, no connection on answering. When I call it back, I get message: "the person you are trying to call hasn't set up a voicemail box for this number, thank you, good bye". Nice to see the ndncr working so well.

I have blocked so many of these I have lost track.  Medical Alert Scam. Makes me wonder how desperate these people have to be to participate in this B***s***.

Landline rang.  Left no message.  

Received their call.  My technique is to answer the call but don't say a word.  Most robo calling automatically disconnects if there is no sound which triggers a flashing sign on the computer screen to alert the human who is being paid to sell the medical alert system.  Then I block the number so they won't call again,.  Sad thing, however, they simply call from a different number.  But at least I don't have to talk to the b*****ds.

Got a call from this number a few minutes ago.   It's the Medical Alert Scam.  They try to tell you that someone has ordered it for you and paid the postage.   Pretends he's checking to see if the postage has been paid. Usually, they hang up when the answering machine picks up but this time didn't. Doesn't sound like a robo call but I'm sure it is.   These people need to be stopped but reporting it on the DNCL does no good.
