I too received a missed call and empty voice message

A few calls from telemarketers in San Leandro,CA who are somehow connected to the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper's subscription-service.  Never any voicemail.  
Apparently, SF Chronicle subscriptions are hurting badly with layoffs at the Chronicle HQ, competing area newspapers, and increasing use of online news.  In the recent past, Chronicle telemarketers and in-person sales teams have repeatedly attempted to foist "special" subscription deals on potential subscribers.  Very poor "special" deals, and one can expect further Chronicle telemarketer calls as its subscription-service business continues to plummet!

Called my cell and i did not answer. No message

Same here Just called. No message called back and got a busy tone.  New cell phone number (nobody has it).

I recieved a call today, it is the San Francisco Chronicle, they left an automated machine message.
I need to subscribe to the DNC list :(

I live in Virginia but it didn't stop the paper from calling me for home delivery .... :)

This number called 3 days in a row.  No message.

called today and yesterday went to voicemail both times but no msg left..

Someone called me from this number 510.924.1660, no message left.

I'm getting a little sick of the telemarketing via cell phone.

This number has called me twice yesterday and once today. They left a message at some point that said, "... return this call. Please call (510)924-1660."

Received several calls from this number but no one was answering

3rd time within 3 hours this morning (starting at 9), and 3 times last night after 5. I keep sending it to voicemail, and 1/2 the time they leave a message.

All I get is "missed you. You don't need to reply to this call. If you wish to contact us, call 510-924-1660." then it hangs up.

Yes, they keep calling and leaving an automated message. They're calling on my cell! Will they eventually stop??

San Francisco Chronicle called last night offering a subscription.

just received a call from this number with no message

Called my new work cel phone 9:29am - no message.  They must be using a random auto-dialer.  I subscribe to Chron already, but they do not have this number on any of their records.

Called me at my offic.e  No message left.

Same thing here - called my skype line - no message left.

These *holes won't stop calling with their automated system.  All my business lines (10 of them) and my home and cell phones.  up to 10 times a day.

Got a call today on my (Nanaimo, BC area code 250) cell from this number. Missed the call, no message.

in the last week, received several calls from this number to skype phone number. no message left.

received calls from 510-924-1660 to my Grand Central number over the past few days.  I always send it to voice mail, but they always hang up before leaving a message.  The name announcement is "circulating technician".

have received 1 call daily since 5/7/08. no message.

San Francisco Chronicle called, I think they somehow know that I subscribe to the Mercury News and are trying to win my business. They would not admit to this obviously...
