The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is a reporting agency.  All they can do is make public record of what this company is doing.  They can take no action against them.  Oh, yeah and the company you file a complaint on can pay to have it removed.  Please be smart about advice you post, and take on this forum. You don't know what kind of bozo is posting.

These people started calling my home looking for someone named Mary and no matter how many times I told them they had the wrong number they continued to call.  I gave them my friend's cell phone number so they would harass him but he finally gave them my work number.  I'm not sure who I'm gonna sick them on next but it beats getting angry.

IC Systems is a collection agency. I do owe quite a few people, but to be treated like dirt by a collection agency is just wrong! I had one of their operators actually tell me that I needed to donate blood so that I could make a payment. Now how ridiculous is that? I think these people need a reality check BIGTIME!

Picked up a voice mail from this phone number.  The message said "it's in your best interest to return this call".......Hmmmmm, I think I sure could make a case for being a threatening statement.  Have no idea who they might be collecting for

This number keeps calling me and I finally picked up. I asked who they were and she wouldn't tell me, just kept saying she was looking for Christine. I said well this isn't Christine's number. I asked if they were a collection agency and she wouldn't say. She said "well this is her contact number" I said "clearly she doesn't want you calling her just like I don't want you calling me" She said that she would keep calling until she reached Christine because this is the number she has and that if I keep not answering they will keep calling. I said well I answered and she told me this has to do with Christine's private matters. I informed her this is my private phone number. I asked for her name to report her and she hung up on me.

12-21 calls each day, every day, including sundays, to my cell phone - which no one has and is unlisted.  no message is left.  calls are typically every 1 hour to no more than 2 between calls.  start at 8:01 a.m. and continue up to 9:38 p.m. PST..... sometimes 8 minutes apart.  who does IC represent?  i did find out certain cell providers have a service that allows you to text back to the number and the cell service actually intercepts and completes the call converting it to a computerized voice call back to IC saying cease and desist.

STOP DEBT COLLECTORS IN THEIR TRACKS

The federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act was enacted to stop abusive, deceptive, and unfair debt collection practices by debt collectors. If you believe you have been the victim of unfair practices of a debt collector, contact YourCollectionRights.com for a FREE* evaluation of your debt collection issues.

Under debt collection laws, you may be entitled to money damages AND payment of your attorneys’ fees, if a debt collector has violated the law.

You Have the Right to Stop Debt Collectors from Harassing or Abusing

Yes, the law protects you against unfair and coercive debt collection methods. You must know how the law can protect you and help you keep him in check.

A debt collector CANNOT:
•          telephone you an unreasonable number of times
•          telephone you at an unusual time/ unusual place
•          disclose information of your debts to third parties
•          use profane or other abusive language
•          contact you after written notification that you do not want to be contacted any further
•          claim to be affiliated with any governmental organization
•          misrepresent the character, amount or legal status of a debt
•          threaten of to take any action that cannot be taken legally

IC Systems are completely bereft of decency and utterly unable to follow EVEN THEIR OWN AGREEMENTS.

I wrote to them:

"Thanks for ringing at 7:30am after you rang at 8:00am the day before and I asked you not to--because I already paid this month and am alreadt on a payment plan.

I am sick. This is how I ended up in debt! And you ring me that early in the morning? You know this.

I am reporting you, for a second time, to WAMU, your client, who specifically stated last time that "IF YOU ARE ON A PAYMENT PLAN AND ARE MEETING THE AGREED PAYMENT DEADLINES, IC SYSTEMS SHOULD NOT BE CALLING YOU."

Last time I had to do this was after one of your agents literally threatened me in a phonecall, like the mafia.

I asked him "Are you going to kneecap me next?"

I agreed to your payment plan. I paid at the beginning of the month--for the third time meeting my monthly commitment--yet even before this month is over, you call me again for next month?

You are f***ing a**holes with not even the slightest shred of reactive response to the people you call.

I pay in accordance with the agreement, you still call. Earlier and earlier. And I'm sick.

A**holes.

Threatening a**holes.

And reported to WAMU again a**holes."

PEOPLE READING THIS:
Ring up the corporate headquarters of the company that referred you to IC Systems. Ask to make a complaint about business being done in their name. Tell the person at the other end of the violations IC Systems have done and how that you are disgusted at the way their agents are treating you. There is no excuse for this. Especially if you're paying. It's bad business for the clients that use them.

These people ( or computer ) are relentless. They have called 147 times and never leave a message. I stopped answering the phone some time back when there was no one there. They call at all hours.
What they are doing is finding out when you are most likely to be home by when you answer the phone during the day or night. I have the capability to have my phone not ring to their phone number. When I call their number, It just rings and rings.
It would be nice to know who they are collecting for. Maybe I would like to use them sometime if I need to harass someone for no point at all ( since they never are on the line when I answered or when I called their number ).
Also folks, If you DO get a body on the line, DO DOT give them ANY INFORMATION over the phone. Have them send you a registered letter with their name and address on the outside of the letter as well as on the letterhead. The body of the letter MUST explain who they are and who they are collecting for. There should also be a reference to your debtors account number as well as an account number that their company has assigned to your file.
If they are not willing to provide any of this information, ignore them and report them to the Better Business Bureau.
Be prepared to give all of the information you have collected up until your contact with them ( the BBB ).
I hope this helps.

IC Systems is a member of ACA. http://www.ACAINTERNATIONAL.ORG you can go to their website and log a complaint. I don't know how far it would go since they are a collection company organization. IS Systems also calls fro 510-924-1676 (New York) and 813-464-2479 (Tampa) so if you get calls from there that is who it prob is. I have never received anything in the mail from them just calls. I would imagine if they have a phone number for me then they should have an address as well. When I called them back they could find nothing in their system under my name and started asking other questions that I didn't feel obligated to answer.

These people are riduculous! I went on there website, http://www.icsystem.com/, and obtained the number for their outbound calling dept, 800-279-9525.

They stated that my number was NOT in either of the 2 systems. At that time I requested to speak to her supervisor and then she BLATENLY LIED to me and told me ALL of her supervisors where in a meeting. (Name: Kathy, Id; L72) So, I called back ONE minute later and "magically" was able to speak to a supervisor (Corey, L88) who stated they aren't calling me.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmm, then why do I show there number on my caller id?

Hey all,

Just wanted to add this piece of information. A look at their home page on the web looks pretty friendly to me :}
Or is it just a wolf in sheeps clothing.

I also wanted to say that I have great credit and owe no one ( except mortgage and auto's ) and those I do owe, are paid on time and some even have account credits.
