I will tell you how it's span if they call you and if you do not have a antivirus on your phone you will never know that it sends you a sms 2 mins after to see if the number is still there. It's pathetic! And how I found out I just got this new Virus protection and never knew they were sending things back on my phone and it never shows up unless you have a virus protection to stop the sms messages. Sad I mean Sad cause right after they call the sms comes right after.And again I hate these people I mean if no one answers why do you call. My phone just shuts them out and don't even answer. LOL!! Got this virus protection program on my droid called Zoner antivirus free and I can tell you not one call gets threw and it blocks sms to none get threw and it sends a message to them that the number can not be reached LOL!! The best I have seen. And these idiots still call LOL!!

The caller is from a college "matching" firm. They solicite information about you "furthering your college education" then they "match" you to a college that 'meets" your needs. The colleges they recomend aren't well known & I'm not sure of quality, but they are probably paid by the college to steer you in that direction.

I am already on the "do not call national registry list. These people are foreigners. I informed they were breaking the law by calling an individual who is on the do not call list and that I was going to report them. The guy told me to "shut up" and hung up on me.

It is a phone solicitor. I asked to be put on their do not call list and then they hung up on me. I quickly called them back and I got through before the caller could make another call. He snickerly said okay and then hung up on me again, not good. You can be put on the do not call registry which is https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx. You have to give it 31 days to kick in. You can report them as well if they keep calling after this period.
