I got a call this morning at work from Mike Cooper saying that he is a Senior State Invesigation Officer (from phone number 512-234-5451) telling me that I am being sued from federal department.  He said that he wanted my lawyers information. I ask why am I being sued by the Federal Departmant, he said  fraud, theft by deception, and another crime which I could not make out. He knew my full name, dob, my ssn, my address and my personnal email adress.  I said this is the first time I heard of this. His reply was well we been email you for the last 6 months. I said never got any of them.  then he said we are  black listing your social security number, and you will get fired from your job.  He also said i owed $12,048. I asked what company do I  owe this money to. He would not answer, he just said you will know when you receive your sumins in 48 hours. After talking to this Mike Cooper guy, I call my husband. My husband told me to do an internet search on this guy and I did and came up this page.

My father keeps getting calls from Mike Cooper at 512-234-5451 telling him he is being sued from federal department and needs to pay $800 right away or he will go to jail, black list his social security number, and get fired from his job.  My poor dad didnt know how to deal with him, so I took his number and called myself.  After giving him a series of tough questions to answer about who he is, what company he is from, what company he owes money to (none of which he provided answers for), he hung up on me.  I went even further to check my dad's credit report, and he has no account in collections, and is paying in full for his 3 remaining credit cards.  I do not know who this Mike Cooper is, and what he wants, but I do think it is a scam.  I will not let my father pay $800 without knowing details of what is going on.

call back.or my attorney. I want someone to stop this guy.what a nuisance. If only we could stop it

I recieved 15 (no BS) calls on my cell phone from this 626 area code number (caller ID said LAX) in one day that said i was being sued. I told him over and over stop calling me and he KEPT calling. 2 days went by and now i am receiving calls on my work phone saying i am being sued but you could tell it was the same rude, talking over you, POS man. I have NO idea how he is getting my cell number let alone my work number. Same little man with a big attitude. Thank goodness for google because for a quick second i thought "am i being sued" and after he prooved to be very unprofessional and kept calling and talking over me i knew something was up. He is the rudest one i have ever dealt with. Anyone know where i can report him?

I had the same person call me except he said his name is Brian John and that he was working for the federal government and that there was a law suit for fraud, theft by deception, and another crime which I could not make out, this person knew everything about me, like my social, where I live and where I go to college, and where I work, except this guy threatened to have me kicked out of school, and have me fired from my job, I have called back and tried to get information from him but he said he could not give me anything and that I have to wait for the paperwork to come in the mail. I have explained to him that I was a criminal Justice major and that I knew my rights of having the information told to me and he replied back to me saying that I was full SH*T and  that I was not a criminal justice  Major, so I got a hold of my state attorney's office and file a complaint, but the number he called me from yesterday was 949-419-0544 and again today from the phone number 512-234-5451

I RECIEVED A CALL FIRST FROM 626-384-3265 TELLING ME I WAS GOING TO BE CHARGED AS A CRIMINAL IF I DID NOT COME UP WITH 798.68 BEFORE THE END OF TODAY.
i WAS GOING TO GO TO JAIL AND HE SAID GOOD LUCK IF YOU CANT COME UP WITH THE MONEY. HE CALLED 4 MORE TIMES WITHIN 3 HOURS ASKING ME IF I CAME UP WITH THE MONEY YET, I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG, SO I TYPED THE NUMBER IN GOOGLE AND WOW...IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THIS DUMB A** IS DOING THIS TOO! AN HOUR LATER HE CALLS BACK FROM THE SAME NUMBER TELLING ME UPS HAS A PACKAGE FOR ME....WHERE WOULD I LIKE TO MEET HIM AT. UMMMMM UPS COMES TO MY HOUSE AND DELIVERS THANK YOU! I HAVE CONTACTED THE POLICE AND IF YOUR HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS I WOULD SUGGEST YOU DID AS WELL.

I have this man calling me and telling if I have an attorney and lots of stuff in an angry voice. I still have the recording.

I have been getting calls from this number constantly at work, at home and on my cell phone.  This person is clearly stupid because he will change his name to something like John Smith or David and yet his voice is still the same.  Whenever you start to inquire on the validity of his claim and you demand proof; he gets very upset and raises his voice.  I wish there was something that can be done about this because he is very annoying and I don't like him calling my job so much- it could get me in trouble for so-called "personal calls".

i just got the same call. i am being sued from john ryan.  I  try to get something from him that why i am being sued. He said i do not have that information. I throught it was scam from the start. I did not send him any money so far . thanks for have this up.

Thank God for the internet...  I too got calls from this number....  At home, at work AND on my cell phone...  I called back, and told the foreign guy that I KNEW it was a scam, and told him to remove my numbers from ANY databases, and not to call me back, or I would report THEM to the government...  He called me a m'fer and hung up in my face.

I have been recieving calls from this number for a few weeks, and then the 1st bout with them i finally called back and said this was a scam and told him ( David Ryan from a Harris Law Firm IN BURNET TX) that this was a scam and i had reported him and his number to local authorities and the FBI FRAUD Department the guy said OMG and then said ok so i will meet you behind the bar tomorrow., so 2 weeks went by i believe and the calls have started again, saying i am being sued by the US GOVERNMENT if you or you attorney do not contact me here soon then your file will be handed over to the court and you will have to appear and he says sumthing i can't understand, due to his FOREIGN ACCENT.(and i am X MILITARY SO I KNOW WHEN the government gets ready to sue they tell you and they send written notice and summon you to court. NONE WHICH HAS HAPPENED YET) I also know that when you get summoned to court or a bill collector does call they have a file/case number and can verify all of their creditials and the firms as well. PLUS I DO NOT know anyone from BURNETT TX.....PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ WHOEVER reads this DO NOT give this guy any information you make him verify everything like what are the charges who is company how long ago did this happen all of those things im actually about to call back again and do this exact same thing BUT DO NOT HELP THIS GUY STEAL MONEY FROM YOU OR YOUR IDENTITY. as im sure this is what it is A SCAM TO STEAL MONEY OR YOUR IDENTITY.

I've also gotten phone calls from this number stating the same thing. I've been told this is a scam, so i wouldn't worry about it

I too have received calls from this number at home and at work. Saying I am being sued by the Federal Government and they are placing a hold on my social security number. The name given was Roger Smith with a very strong foreign accent.

got a call from david at harrison law firm stated they had a hold on my social security number and would not tell me what it was about and asked if i has an attarney.

I received a phone call from 512 234 5451 from David at Harrison Law firm stating that I am being sued for some reason that they would not specify and putting a hold on my soclial security number.
