I dont care if a person owes or not, they dont have to be rude and act like
They can punish you even more , i know there are debtors out there that
lie if you owe something and you cant pay them they dont believe
anything you tell them unless its what they want to hear their scum
But a necessary scum sorta like bacterias in septic tanks, treat them
Accordingly and how they treat you

I got the same situation, rude lady asking me to verify my information, she said credit bureau,  I ask you identify yourself first, she didnt wantto and said she will mark down as a refusal, wth. ? Im confused.

My home phone received a call from "Ron Avery" and, unfortunately, my mother gave him my cell.  Said he was a Wake Co. Sheriff's Dept. investigator looking to serve a warrant for me to appear in court, as I'd been listed as a relative of a "Denise Souter," who supposedly worked at the University I once worked at.  He had my name, address, and even the first 5 digits of my SS#!  I didn't give him any info -- but he already HAD all of that obviously!  Very scary.  I have alerted my bank, as well as enrolling in a security insurer for my SS# -- hope it works.  He repeatedly asked me if I knew Denise Souter, spelled her name several times, and kept asking me if there was any way I was connected -- I confirmed that I did NOT.  I did remember, however, that about a year ago I'd gotten a call from ANOTHER collection agency looking for the same person, which is why I think THIS is a collection agency.  I'm hoping so anyway!

Yes I do believe they are scammers because normal debit collectors that I have ever talked to don't call their selfs anymore and these people just send out a bad bad vibe when you talk to them acting like they know you and I definitely would not give them any personal info a debit collector would have all the info on you already!!!!!!

I received a call from this number form Ron Avery. He asked if my husband lived at a certain address and he has not. He then asked me if I knew his social security number....not cool. I told him even if I did I would never release that information.  When I asked where he was from he wouldn't give me a direct answer. Scamarama. I blocked the number

Yep, I got a call from 512-346-4585. I only picked up because it was similar to my doctor I am seeing right now.  Realizing it was a debt collector, the lady was extremely rude to me. She was threatening me to pay and kept interrupting me. Can I get a lawyer for this? I don't even owe this other doctor office money.  The other doctor office has been scamming me by declining my insurance so I would have to pay them out of pocket.  DOCTORS THESE DAYS!!! They arent helping anymore, now just taking money. So now they sent my bill to these debt collectors and ruining my credit! =( What to do when it's not even my fault at all.  I don't see why I have to pay when they told me at the beginning that insurance covers.

They call asking if you are (first name + last name) then they ask is your address (they read out some address).  They ask many question trying to get you to say, "yes" to questions.  They hang up on you as soon as you ask any questions...  I called them back, they are scammers!  A collection company maybe but they have checking account #'s, routing #'s.  Beware if you say "yes" to ANY of their questions you might be hit on your checking account days or even months later after the call.  If you owe a merchant money call that merchant and work something out with them directly not with this bogus caller.  (512)346-4585.

This number called me 15 minutes ago, saying he was from some mtv credit bureau and said I had a debt. I don't even live in the Austin area. They said I needed to call them back.

This number is from a debt collection agency located at 11921 N. Mopac Expy, Suite 210, Austin, Tx 78759 as of 3/7/11.

i got a missed call from them, called back, and a Ron Avery answered.  He was looking for someone else, I assume a collections call, but he was nice and took my number out of the system.

One of their namez iz Patrick. He sounded like he had a corn cob up hiz butt! I wouldn't doubt it. I didn't say anything becauze I waz laughing at him. I don't think he found it funny though Hhahahahahaha!

Im callin it back and giving them a message from hell! Hahahahahahahaha Im one who lovez a good fight....Bring it on debt collectorz.....You can kiss my big @SS! Don't mess with Texas women!

Lady calls asking if I received mail on a ______this street name would not say who she was and would not give me any information. Stated if I didn't answer she would make down that I was a refusal. I didn't give her any info because she would provide me with any. She doen't even know who she was talking to. I hope she didn't mark something bad on someones account due to me that giving her any info.

The guy who called my wife identified himself as Ron Avery.  He calls as if he knows my wife and asks that she call him back on the number left on the caller ID.  

Ugh!  Whatever.

They called from this number (5123464585) and did not leave a message.  It seems like it was a person and not a machine because after some brief silence, the party hung up.  Based on other posts it appears to be debt collection for med bills.  I might have an outstanding balance of $40 to S & W.  Do they really send that to debt collection?

Wife has been receiving calls from this number.  We aren't answering after reading all this crap.

I recieved a call and it was 'missed' on my cell phone, it rang in as urgent and then I find this... I do not believe it is legal to place such calls as urgent, even if for bill collection. The only things I owe for are medical bills, and the lowlife lawyer I hired was supposed to be handling those for me.

I didn't pick up the phone when I received this call. I didn't recognize it but googled it to find out any info about it and found this site.

A rude lady just called me 5 miutes agao, 2X. The first time I picked up it got hang up. The second time, she said "this is K(C)rystal, and you live on ....street? I asked who is this? She repeated what she said the first time, so I asked her again for her identification. She repeated the same words, very rudely. I told her that I will not give her the answer unless she identifies herself. Then she hang up on me. What the hell?

Rec'd call at work for my husband. When I adv only his wife worked here he said would leave message for her. He did not leave msg. Hmmmm
